Best-in-Class Support and Professional Services at Workiva
What do you like best about the product?
The people at Workiva, including the support and professional services team, are the best of any software vendor I have worked with.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing of note. Generally all experiences have been positive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of use in collaborating on and completing filings.
Workiva’s Best-in-Class Reporting and Versatile Product Offerings
What do you like best about the product?
The reporting features in Workiva seems to be above market competitors. The different product offerings also make it advantageous vs others in the market.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI/UX can be hard to get used to at first, specifically having to move through the different experiences depending on what you are looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva is providing a single source of truth for all things internal audit which is great for an internal audit department. The user support has also been helping in dealing with any specific problems to our organization.
Workiva: Efficient Collaboration and Automation Powerhouse
What do you like best about the product?
I feel Workiva is a very good tool. It allows collaboration from various team members, which solves the problem of simultaneous collaboration in reporting. I really like the streamlined and automatic process for updating all downstream reports once a data source is updated. It's a very big booster of efficiency. I like Workiva's complex functionality and how it is always evolving. The Workiva team is very responsive, and I appreciate that they always get back to us with answers, often showing that functions we were hoping for are already existent. The team does a good job of educating customers on how to better utilize the product. These aspects make Workiva a valuable tool for my work.
What do you dislike about the product?
So in reporting, sometimes, there's, like, actual spacing or double period. I will hope that Workiva can build a automated tool that can alert users of this kind of, like, irregular formatting. I know there's a grammar check building with Workiva, but, like, as of today, like, double spacing between words are still not, like, automatically flagged in any kind of check that would Workiva already built in. If that can be built, that would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I feel Workiva is great for collaboration among team members and automates updating of downstream reports when a data source changes, boosting efficiency.
Workiva Makes Audit Evidence Collection Simple and Transparent
What do you like best about the product?
Workiva's most useful feature to me is the audit request function. This makes it easy to provide all types of audit evidence. Because of this functionality I only have to provide once and the entire audit team has access. Additionally I'm able to see a clear dashboard of what requests are still outstanding and upcoming due dates. I also like that i'm able to quickly upload various pieces of support by dragging and dropping without having to worry about exceeding file size limits.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel that reminder emails within the functionality could be improved as it seems i sometimes receive duplicate or irrelevant emails.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva is saving time in the audit process as auditors quickly have access to requested support. It saves from excessive email traffic and allows me to better manage and fulfill requests.
Essential for Streamlined Financial Reporting
What do you like best about the product?
I find Workiva user-friendly. The templates are really convenient for financial reporting, making it easy and not requiring me to redo everything every quarter. The initial setup was easy enough for my team.

What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use for someone familiar with the MS Office suite, and they have a lot of great features that make document prep and filing easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing can be aggressive, but they are often able to work with you if you only need certain functionality.

Document preparation with ongoing revision across multiple users.
Seamless Collaboration and Efficient Filing with Workiva
What do you like best about the product?
I like so much about Workiva! I like how you can file right within the Workiva platform, and how you can chat with the AI assistant. These features reduce timing and make the process seamless. The initial setup was great and easy, which I really appreciated.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish you could turn off the attachments view for people, and not have to every time you sign in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva makes it easy for our team to collaborate, leave comments, and update documents. Filing within the platform and using the AI assistant reduces timing and makes the process seamless.
Streamlines SEC Reporting with Intuitive Interface
What do you like best about the product?
I like the simplicity of Workiva and how intuitive it is. It offers different methods to streamline our procedures and reduce manual efforts. I am able to set up links between my Excel workbooks which can then feed directly into the report, enabling easy roll forward to future periods and eliminating manual input/errors.
What do you dislike about the product?
The XBRL is not super easy to use, although the staff at Workiva does a great job setting it up for us. Also, the system outages can be very frustrating at times.

I use Workiva to consolidate reporting files and automate links for SEC report filing, reducing manual input and errors. The software's simplicity and intuitive design streamline procedures and enhance efficiency.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how intuitive Workiva is and how it follows the forms exactly. It's very user-friendly and it helps create 10-Qs, 10-Ks, and other types of filings for my company. The review process is streamlined, which is a big plus when handling SEC reporting.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the tie up functionality could be improved, and I think that it could be more integrated with AI features such as disclosures and internal consistency checks.

I use Workiva for creating 10-Qs, 10-Ks, and various filings. It's user-friendly, intuitive, aligns with forms, and streamlines the review process.

What do you like best about the product?
good for organization and efficient in updating ppt and word documents that are just rolled forward every quarter

some features may be confusing at first but as you use it more often you will realize and understand how to use
