What do you like best about the product?
Workiva has dramatically improved the automation of financial and regulatory reporting. Since many of Workiva's tools operate similarly to Excel and Word, accountants will find it simple to master the software. Multiple users can collaborate in real-time on a single document and establish contextual links between related files to ensure data integrity using Workiva.
What do you dislike about the product?
The printing feature could benefit from some improvement. I would be glad if each row could be printed on a separate page. Besides, it would be wonderful if margins could be adjusted as necessary within the application. When exported to Excel, these issues vanish.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Productivity enhancement is one of the most noticeable benefits of implementing Workiva. Our company utilized Excel for many of our reporting needs, frequently reloading the exact data for different purposes. Moreover, consistent reports and automated modifications to multiple documents simplify last-minute adjustments significantly. Our larger projects now require approximately 70 percent less time than they did in the past.

The workiva software allows several people to work on the same document and to make links between pages and documents so that the information is consistent. Once the implementation is complete, we should save time in producing the financial statements.o pro

Some features and format of Excel are not supported.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Consistency between reports and automated changes on multiple documents help us a lot, especially for last minute changes.

Sometimes I struggle when trying to format a document. But I then end up reaching out to their support team who is amazing and help me through any issues I might have.

Workiva has been making some great changes on the formatting side.

That we are in control of all edits and can efficiently manage our filing process

That we do not have a dedicated service rep to help with formatting, last minute filing checklist and scheduled filings

Able to manage the SOX controls process around our Q and K filings allowing us to be more effective and allows to link our filings to our earnings release

What do you like best about the product?
I use Workiva for SEC reporting, including 10Q and 10K filings, and it provides a great access point to produce and publish forms with the SEC. It's very user-friendly. I enjoy the Workiva platform as well as its support team, who can assist if I ever run into a formatting issue or tagging issue. We can reach out for quick and effective help. I also appreciate having previously used Workiva and enjoyed using it. The initial setup for my team was simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would ideally like to see it have more Microsoft Word type functionality. For formatting, etc.

I use Workiva for SEC reporting, like 10Q and 10K filings. It provides an easy access point to produce and publish forms with the SEC and is user-friendly. The support team assists quickly and effectively with any formatting or tagging issues.
Streamlined SEC Reporting with Robust Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how easy Workiva is to use and its collaborative tools. The advanced permissions and Wdata linking features stand out as extremely useful. I find redlining particularly convenient as it's very easy to track changes from any previous version with drag-and-drop options. I also appreciate the concept of 'one source of truth'—when I update a single number, everything linked to it gets updated throughout. Additionally, I like that new features are continually being added.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tickmarking or mark ups can be improved to create a fully electronic binder.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva provides one source of truth by linking spreadsheets to documents, simplifies review processes with Wdata linking, and easily tracks changes with redlining. It streamlines SEC reporting with XBRL services, updating linked data consistently.

Definitely worth it!

The best thing about the tool is that everything is linked, it saves time and there's less risk of errors! Also, the support team is very quick and responsive.

There are fewer features than the Microsoft suite.

During the quarter reporting, all the documents are linked into one document, which means where there are changes, everything gets easily updated.
