Workiva Keeps Risks, Controls, and Evidence Organized with Smooth Linking
What do you like best about the product?
I mainly use Workiva for control testing and documentation. It’s convenient to keep risks, controls and evidence in one place rather than having to dig through multiple folders. The linking between sheets and docs works smoothly, and the audit trail makes it easy to review changes and see what was updated. Permissions are also useful, especially when I need to share sensitive files with the righ People.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some workflows feel limited,particularly when multiple reviewers are involved. The UI can also feel a bit crowded at times, which makes it harder to focus on the plus side, the templates save me a lot of time when I’m doing repeat reporting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva replaced our scattered files and long email threads. As a result, our audit work is much easier to track, and the review process feels far more organized. We make fewer mistakes, spend less time rechecking details and our close cycles move faster.

At times it can be challenging when multiple users are making updates at the same time

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Workiva is easy to navigate with a simple UI. I enjoy the linkage between the different tabs like Risks & Control, Data, Dashboards, and Reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
The dashboards could have more configurations to manipulate the data views even further. There could also be more options for markup in testing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva lets me perform control testing, create dashboards, and provides a centralized repository for SOX and IT Audit information.

What do you like best about the product?
Its ability to connect data, people and processes in a secure cloud platform. The live data linking and ease of collaboration is top notch.

The high premium pricing and limited functionality in complex formatting.

Workiva solves the problem of manual and high-risk reporting processes, managing scattered data and complex regulatory compliance.
Intuitive, Fast, and Keeps Our Team Organized
What do you like best about the product?
It’s intuitive, fast, and responsive. It helps everyone stay organized, and it also makes communication among team members clear and effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing particularly. It logs me out a lot but i know its for security purposes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva is essentially solving a cluster of problems that finance, accounting, audit, and compliance teams deal with every day—especially in large or complex organizations. The value comes from replacing fragmented, manual, and error-prone processes with a connected, automated platform.
Streamlined Financial Reporting with Immediate Data Access
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that with Workiva, requests are available and updated immediately for use by the requester. This feature means there is no delay for the requester to incorporate my data into financial reports, even if there are complications that delay input until late hours of the due date. Once my data is approved or submitted, the requester has it instantly.
What do you dislike about the product?
My least favorite aspect is that sometimes I cannot easily find a request. It may perhaps just be the way my company has set this up. I have seen some improvements over the past year or so.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva provides a uniform system for SEC and regulatory reporting, making my data available and updated instantly, allowing timely incorporation into financial reports.
Drag-and-Drop Simplicity That Boosts My Workflow
What do you like best about the product?
It’s definitely improved my workflow. The drag-and-drop interface is straightforward and saves me hours each week.

The workbook doesn’t always function exactly like Excel.

What do you like best about the product?
The software offers a broad range of features that help optimize our processes, making it easier for us to share observations and recommendations. It also provides straightforward access and reliable tracking, which has improved our productivity and the accuracy of our processes. In addition, we’ve been able to clearly define our documentation expectations.
What do you dislike about the product?
The system offers alternative solutions to mitigate any issues that come up, and so far I haven’t found anything to criticize about the platform. Overall, my experience has been very positive.

It adapts to individual needs, and the recommendation tracking system is easy to use. It offers a robust structure for documenting working papers and simplifies internal audits. The software enables greater efficiency and is an excellent. time-saving tool.
Amazing Linking and Data Integration That Streamlines Processes
What do you like best about the product?
The linking capabilities and data integration are amazing. I’ve recommended it to other teams in my organization because it can really help streamline their processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’m not able to export blacklines in Word. The only export option I see is PDF, and that can limit how usable the comparison is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva helps me streamline our 10-Q/K and press release processes more effectively. We’re also looking to use it for management presentations as well, which should help keep our reporting and presentation work more consistent.
