Empowers Self-Serve Reporting, Smooth Setup
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Workiva allows me to self-serve and pull my own reports without having to rely on an individual person. The initial setup was fairly easy as I just had to register, and then I was able to set up.
What do you dislike about the product?
The things that don't work for me with Workiva is that sometimes the reports do not download as expected. So this could potentially be improved when uploading the reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Workiva for work reporting and testing. It allows me to self-serve and pull my own reports without relying on others.
Effortless SEC Reporting with Great Usability
What do you like best about the product?
I like Workiva because of its ease of use, which makes filing SEC documents and creating presentations straightforward. The capabilities similar to PowerPoint and Excel are very helpful, making it easy to create and update documents quarterly and roll forward information. The initial setup of Workiva was very easy, which was a nice aspect as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
If there were more abilities similar to Excel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva eases filing SEC documents electronically and helps create presentations. Its ease of use and PowerPoint and Excel-like capabilities make it simple to create and update documents quarterly and roll forward information.
User-Friendly with Powerful Auto-Save Features
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Workiva serves as a one-stop shop for our editing with auto-save, allowing both our auditors and our team to make live updates with version control. I find it user-friendly, and I really appreciate its auto-save capabilities. The formatting tools are great, making everything in our report look uniform, and the linking capabilities help streamline updates. The initial setup was super easy and already set up, which was a plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to set default for copying and pasting into the workbooks. Sometimes I would forget to select all links and then I would have to re-copy over from our Excel spreadsheet, which was time consuming.

User-Friendly Collaboration and Secure, Accurate Document Linking
What do you like best about the product?
Very user-friendly interface, with ability to collaborate across teams within documents, set security by user, and link across documents for accuracy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really haven't encountered many downsides - I would like to learn more about making presentations in Workiva but I haven't tried to make one yet or specifically sought training on how to do so.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By linking related content and applying appropriate security settings across multiple deliverables, I’ve been able to improve the accuracy of disclosures and make the quarterly reporting process more efficient.

Workiva Streamlines High-Quality Financial Reporting and SEC Filings
What do you like best about the product?
The various features that Workiva has that enables us to perform our financial reporting duties with the highest quality and efficiency as possible. This includes but is not limited to linking feature, multiple users can edit a document, automated processes, perform SEC filings.
What do you dislike about the product?
The spreadsheet functionality is not as user friendly as Microsoft Excel so it has limited uses currently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are helping us solve reducing errors in our filings thru the use of the linking feature. When we update disclosures and numbers the linking feature saves us alot of time from having to update each individual location where the disclosure or number is disclosed.
Easy Interface, but Clunky Spreadsheet Formatting and Limited Copy-Paste Options
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and interface is easily navigated.
What do you dislike about the product?
Copy-pasting from excel must be utilized only via ctrl+c and ctrl+v; makes it difficult for users with limited keyboard access (ie, only one hand free/exclusively using a mouse).
Formatting spreadsheets can be clunky, and if a sheet is filtered by one user, that sheet is automatically filtered for all users.

Month-end, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting.
Efficient Sync, Minor Linking Glitches
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Workiva solves the problem of data decentralization by linking all my Excel tabs into one place and easily syncing the file. I also appreciate being able to choose whether I want to resync all my tabs, or just some of them. This feature is helpful because it allows me to update only certain tabs and leave the already perfect data untouched. Additionally, the initial setup of Workiva was very easy and quick.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when syncing, the linking gets messed up and it's a pain to fix. If I have 25 rows in Excel and 25 rows in Workiva, they should match exactly when I sync, but that's not always the case.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva solves the problem of decentralization of data by linking all my Excel tabs in one place. I like being able to choose to resync individual tabs, which is helpful when updates are needed only on specific tabs, leaving perfect data untouched.
Efficient, User-Friendly SEC Filing Solution
What do you like best about the product?
I like Workiva for its ease of use. It's intuitive, simple to operate, and makes efficient use of our time. I also appreciate its ability to allow users to collaborate simultaneously. Plus, it lets me link data across different types of reports and formats, so when a number changes, it automatically updates across all forms, which eliminates the need for copying and pasting.

I use Workiva to organize SEC filings and financial reporting. It allows for multiple users to collaborate simultaneously. It links data across reports, updating automatically, eliminating the copy/paste hassle. The platform is intuitive and saves time with easy operations.

Not all access levels have access to basic features such as historical track changes and notifications when changes are accepted.
