User-Friendly with Real-Time Collaboration, Needs Better XBRL Support
What do you like best about the product?
I like Workiva for its user friendliness and various features. The real-time collaboration and formatting capabilities are particularly valuable to me.
What do you dislike about the product?
XBRL tagging. It is very difficult to understand what's wrong and how to fix it. Either the validation errors should be easy to understand or their instructions to fix them should be easy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Workiva for real-time collaboration and formatting, which enhances teamwork and document consistency.
Collaboration Made Easy with Reliable, Scalable Workiva
What do you like best about the product?
I find Workiva relatively easy to use, which makes my tasks more manageable. I appreciate that it is reliable and secure, providing peace of mind for our data's safety. I also like its scalability across the globe, making it effective for our large team. Workiva allows multiple colleagues to review and update the documentation simultaneously, which is very handy. I also like how it can configure and format documents in a logical manner.

Some of the formatting capabilities & functions are less intuitive than optimal

Efficient Financial Reporting with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I use Workiva for financial reporting, and I like how easy formatting is and how it helps me track versions. It provides solutions that Excel and NetSuite cannot, which makes it very valuable to me. The setup was easy with the help of the setup team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Syncing with NetSuite is a function that is not explored and should be more easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Workiva for financial reporting, addressing version control issues. It's easy to format and track versions, doing things Excel and NetSuite can't.
Organized and User-Friendly, Minor Clunkiness
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Workiva helps organize and provides access to files. It's easy to navigate, which I appreciate. I also enjoy the way you can organize it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Workiva can be a little clunky, especially when logging in and getting access to the portal.

Easy to Navigate with Great CSM Support and Smooth SSO
What do you like best about the product?
users are saying it's easy to navigate. I love my CSM; she is great. But my entire implementation team was great as well. I also like the SSO feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
Request need to be numbered. No if and or buts about that. We do hundreds of requests per SOX year. It would also be nice to have a separate IT SOX request area and BP SOX request. My BP team do not relate to my IT, and things may confuse them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Flow charts was a nightmare with SOX Hub. Workiva makes that easier.
Easy, Intuitive Tool That Streamlines Team Tieouts and Audit Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and intuitive. The mark-up and attachment functions are great to use with the team for tieout and the ability to integrate the auditors in our access control has been helpful to streamline the audit process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, there are system outages and the pages can become unresponsive, resulting in lost edits or unexpected changes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the problem of working with multiple teams and team members in a central document while tracking changes and exchanging comments.
User-Friendly Audit Solution with Seamless Setup
What do you like best about the product?
I streamline the external audit process using Workiva, thanks to its great organizational structure. I like the user-friendly interface, which allows for efficient workflow. The navigation is well laid out, and the menus are easy to find. Setting it up was pretty easy; once we got the initial admin account setup and training, we were up and running within a week.

Empower Track Changes in Slides!
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to create workflows and connect files that speak to each other. This ability allows organizations to standardize reporting across the teams involved.
My favorite part of workiva is the ability to use track changes and create blacklines between different milestones. It just expands the ability to review in a clean and systematic way.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are two areas that can improve.
1) Track changes in slides - currently this is not an option (sad). Practically, it would be difficult to track changes when an object, image, text box or numeric table move placement within the slide. Setting aside object placement, enabling track changes in the slides could be done at the table level (similar to spreadsheets) or inside a text box (when the text descriptions change). Currently, blacklines between milestones for slides are helpful, but not perfect - it would be great to see blacklines that show changes within tables or text boxes.
2) Permissions - this can be very hard to maintain, specially when teams in the platform grow overtime. It would be helpful to have a designated workflow in workiva, that forces teams to confirm they need access before the beginning of the reporting period. This would enhance access controls and ensure all teams have the right access through the tool (rather than managing email communications outside the platform).

User-Friendly Workiva with Great Resources for SEC Reporting
What do you like best about the product?
Workiva is user friendly and it's been helpful in my role in SEC reporting. There's so much resources on Workiva our team can take advantage of.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the AI tool is still new, I would love to see it improve and how other teams like ours can rely on it as part of our SEC responsibilities. We currently use external platforms when we benchmark against other Companies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva solves the seamless process of quarter-end and year-end responsibilities for the 10-Q/10-K to work cross-functionality amongst other team members under one platform.

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate Workiva's efficient and effective linking of financial amounts and dates throughout documents, which helps avoid manual errors and speeds up preparation. I also like their extremely competent and fast customer service. It's impressive how Workiva continues to invest in their product, solidifying their leadership in the space. I find it encouraging that they consistently share improvements based on specific customer feedback, making me feel heard when I suggest process improvements or system enhancements.

Very little!
