Best Fin reporting software in the world
What do you like best about the product?
As a CPA and US GAAP financial reporting expert, I refuse to work at any company that does not use Workiva as part of their Financial reporting processes. Best cloud software for Fin Reporting, hands down.
What do you dislike about the product?
Small minor nuances that you cannot customize.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaborating with team mates in real time and financial statement prep automation.

What do you like best about the product?
Like how you can mark up documents and put tickers for where a control attribute has satisfied
What do you dislike about the product?
The system can be very slow and laggy. When marking, if pages of PDF is added it messes up with the marking on workiva.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making the workiva database to align with our procedures

The functionality of linking spreadsheets to documents allows for monthly / quarterly reports to be reproduced in an effective manner.

I have some issues with formatting but that may be down to lack of experience

What do you like best about the product?
Customer Friendly, ease of Integration, ease of Implementation, constant feature updates, Workiva support center, great customer success managers, ability to build reports, easy to use and learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
One feature I would like to see is the ability to forward matrix tables from different phases of the audit (walkthorugh, interim, rollforward) and the ability to customize tables with different fonts, colors,etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva is assisting my team in consolidating all our controls and testing onto a single platform. Before implementing Workiva a year ago, my team used to store all our testing and documents on our desktop.
Easy solution to complex issues
What do you like best about the product?
Customer support with Workiva is superb! They are quick to respond and provide helpful insight into the tool. It is easy to use, has a nice UI and functionality necessary to make complex challenges more seamless and integrated. Implementation time was quick, and new features needed are added with ease. It's being used daily across our functions.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not very intuitive to know what you, as a user or admin, have permissions to perform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to streamline control certification processes using Workiva, manage audit workflows and collaborate with control owners.

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful workiva is for financials or for any word document you have to prepare, we can link it excel or word anything with it.
We had impleted workiva in our organistation, we use for everday task and Customer support is good.

Its save lot of time to prepare financials in the word documents and its very easy to use. We can link as many as we want docuemnts.

Self explaintatory to navigate and tooltip options.

Too many clicks to follow and fragmented steps. UX can be improved.

One stop for Audit documentation.
Workiva is helpful for filings
What do you like best about the product?
The feature I like most about Workiva is that I am able to make edits in 1 place, and it flows through my entire document automatically (once I click Publish). This helps reduce a lot of manual work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the copy paste function is not always easy. You have to be mindful when copy pasting to ensure pasted values are properly linked to the source.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva helps us file and complete our work in a timely manner.
The experience has been ok.
What do you like best about the product?
The best part of Workiva is having all of our SOX testing and reporting in one tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
While customization of the tool is great, this requires custom solutions which our team has not had the best experience with. We've had multiple instances where the custom solution offered causes other items to break and stop working.

Workiva for automation and efficiencies
What do you like best about the product?
It is a fantastic platform for collaboration and also document linking, which allows documents to be updated real time as the source of data is updated.
What do you dislike about the product?
Workiva word and excel functions are fantastic, it seems like the ppt platform may be lagging behind.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem of data updates needing to be made globally now does not exist thanks to workiva linking.
