Worikva unlocks unlimited possibilities
What do you like best about the product?
I like the one single multiuser workspace and the data connectivity, both into the platform and out of it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its challenging that the new features development process lags the pace of rising user needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva is automating and accellorating our reporting process. Its also streamlining our additional uses for the reporting data, accellorating those processes and improving audit trails.

What do you like best about the product?
Workiva is easy to use and was very simple to implement. The company uses it frol SEC filing and for SOX workflow on naerly a daily basis. When we have questions our customer support si responsive. In fact, CS is proactivekly reaching out (with the sales account rep) to see how explain new fatures and functionality.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dislike is perahaps too strong a verb to descride the text below, but the areas for improvement. One would be better "canned" report with an attendant improvement in user training for report writing. With respect to integration, Wrokiva was relatively easily to flod into our business processes, howver we have never been provided with information on how eletrocically ingrate Workiva with our various ERP systems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have operations in 16 countries with multiple ERPs. From a Control documentation and testing perspective, Workiva allows us to have a consistent processes and retention of relevant documention all in one platform. The Financial reporting team is pleased with the ability to edit SEC filings and disclosures without having to wrry of version inconssistencies.
Quick and Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
We are able to create and file our SEC reports. There is a single source spreadsheet that allows us to link our documents to publish the same information, but in different formats.
What do you dislike about the product?
We used certifications before it switxhed to Tasks. The process is taking some time to learn. The rollforward process takes a little bit of time to update.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to combine reporting and eliminate duplication of work (entering the same data multiple times).

Too early for me to comment on that. excited for the conference and learn something new

It helps in generatting financial statements and all updates to the statement are instant

Great Implementation and Excellent Product
What do you like best about the product?
The time savings of the roll forward process is fantastic. Using links to pull report information from source documents makes recurring reporting a breeze. The implementation team was terrific and met our ambitious timeline. Our Success Manager and Enterprise Client Director are very responsive and supportive.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have one environment, so testing and practicing with the system was done in a seperate folder we designated as a sandbox.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva is stream lining our reporting process and enabling greater collaboration across reporting teams.

What do you like best about the product?
Once you unlock the full capabilities of Workiva, the possibilities are endless! Preparing and filing your SEC filings while maintaining data integrity, while being being so easy to review and audit? Check! Have section officer filing activity that needs to be done and tracked with relative ease? Check! Have certification and questionnaires for SOX compliance purposes? Got tyou covered! The amount of help articles available to troubleshoot problems is fantastic and the community is so engaged with the product!
What do you dislike about the product?
With this being a cloud-based platform, it can be a little slow at times, and for very in-the-weeds-type nuances, the handling of adding/deleting columns and rows in tables can be a bit slow, and formatting can be a bit inconsistent if you export a draft of a Document into a Word file.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Speeding up our SEC filing process while maintaining a high-quality, fully compliant work product that our investors will apprecoate as they make their business decisions (and hopefully love). Saving time on the filing process allows me to focus on more immediate business projects such as accounting policy updates and assisting the team with operational-type projects. Basically, I have more time to do more interesting things!
Effective and fast product
What do you like best about the product?
It is very intitutive in its operation and one can quickly understand its functionility in a quick time. It is very light weight and web based, which ensures quick functionality and easy use case.
What do you dislike about the product?
Though it has incredible amount of reporting facilities, one needs to learn them to get themselves familiarised.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a good GRC tool and is customizable which benefits the organization in providing highly cost effective solutions without the need of high initial investments.

What do you like best about the product?
Workiva's platforms are very user-friendly, easy to implement/integrate (helpful CSMs and PSMs) and the technology is always improving and expanding offerings based on current needs of companies.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not experienced downsides. It may not be affordable for smaller companies.

Collaboration and version control!
Amazing platform to get filings down across multiple functions and no version control fiascos
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to have mutliple users updating the same document at once without overwriting or dropping changes. Plus the ability to pull down different versions to the minute, allows for easy recall of prior versions/language as needed. Customer support team is also amazing to work with
What do you dislike about the product?
Very difficult to imput graphics (e.g., charts and visuals) due to the interface not being as flexible/integrated with the MSFT office SmartArt or excel charting
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows for us to work directly on clients' disclosures without having to be in an email chain with multiple versions floating around. Eliminates the fear that we are working on outdated version when we provide our guidance/suggested edits
