Simple, Intuitive Workiva Interface That’s Easy to Navigate
What do you like best about the product?
I like the simplicity of Workiva's interface. It is easy to remember where to go, which buttons do what and just an overall easy experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the webpage can be very slow to load, especially when testing documents. I don't like that you lose your work when you return a sample request.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva has streamlined our testing from Excel and has made work much more efficient.
Streamlined Financial Reporting with Impressive Linking Features
What do you like best about the product?
I like Workiva's linking capabilities, including the linking of numbers and text. The new full table links and the ability to create text links within a table cell are particularly beneficial. These features save me and my team a lot of time and minimize manual errors.
What do you dislike about the product?
The implementation process used to be more thoughtful when I first started using Workiva many years ago.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva automates financial reporting, saving time and minimizing manual errors with linking capabilities.
Love the Attachment Feature for Tie-Out Procedures
What do you like best about the product?
I love the attachment feature. We use it to for our tie out procedures. We dont upload items to the placeholders we create because reviewing tie out support within workiva is wonky.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that there is not an intergrated AI tool that checks for internal consistenty and math checks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Efficient Collaboration with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I use Workiva for IPOs and public company reporting, and I like that it brings efficiency by not having to wait for the printer to end a proof. I appreciate the real-time edits, intuitive use, and ease of collaboration it offers. Also, the initial setup of Workiva was easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Formatting is sometimes harder. I end up tagging Workiva a lot for formatting and could fix it myself if it wasn't locked. I have to wait 20 minutes to an hour for someone to be free. For authors, I just wish track changes showed in the order it appears in the section rather than in the order an edit was made, as it's hard to sort through.

Workiva improves efficiency by eliminating printer delays and enables real-time edits, intuitive use, and ease of collaboration.
Easy, Word-Like SEC Filing With Clean Linked Documents
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and similarity to Microsoft Word and Excel software. Easy to file with the SEC. Clean documents with linking capabilities and other tools for automating the document updates.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lots of errors and bugs which need resolving in the documents. Time out errors while working in the document.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Implementing their new AI tool to quickly update documents. iXBRL tools and continuous scrolling in documents are a must have. Love the blackline tools.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the collaboration feature of Workiva. It solves the issue that everyone can be in the same file at once, and it gets updated first when using Excel and other tools. The initial setup was easy, which was a nice advantage.

Workiva solves the issue of everyone using the same platform with updated versions, allowing us to work on the same file at once instead of using Excel and other tools.
Effective Audit Tool with Potential for Improved Documentation
What do you like best about the product?
I like Workiva for the ability to create dashboards, matrices, and attach support to desired workpapers. This feature allows audit to see the bigger picture of processes and to find control gaps.
What do you dislike about the product?
Audit documentation could be simplified by having something like a word document function where you are able to bold & italicize words to point out key items in workpapers.

I use Workiva for ticking and tieing support, creating dashboards, and matrices, which helps audit see the bigger picture and find control gaps.

Intuitive Platform, Streamlines Financial Reporting
What do you like best about the product?
I use Workiva for quarterly and year-end reporting. It saves so much time with formatting reports, automatically calculating balances via formulas, and formatting with the painter tool. The platform itself is very user-friendly, making it easy to collaborate with my team regardless of where we are working from and regardless of the time. I was new to Workiva when I started my job at Quad-C, and my boss only had to give me a 30 or 45-minute rundown of the platform. After that, I pretty much taught myself everything, which shows how intuitive it is.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't wait for the new automated tables feature. Formatting the SOI can be such a pain and takes up a lot of time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva saves me time with report formatting and calculations, making collaboration easy and user-friendly. It integrates GL data for accessible financial statements.
Easy to Navigate, Solid Overall Experience
What do you like best about the product?
The system is easy to navigate. It also calculates the forms making them easier to complete.
What do you dislike about the product?
The system can have glitches with multiple people entering in data at the same time. It also does not export to excel where the format prints easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes completing our form 2 FERC requirements easier. It allows us to collaborate across different departments to make sure that our forms are correct and accurate.
