What do you like best about the product?

Flexible and powerful web CMS capabilities. Good support from RWS team. Extensive community. DXA reference implementation. Content modeling flexibility. Integrations with Elasticsearch, Opensearch and OpenID Connect for SSO.

What do you dislike about the product?

Overcomplicated workflow processes. Difficulty in troubleshooting publishing, customizations, extensions. Logs can be difficult to track down and/or provide little or no relevant information. Difficulty in finding or navigating correct documentation. DXA has historically been challenging to install and get up and running.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Managing web content for multiple websites.
Managing access, governance and publishing flows.
Implementation of custom content model.

What do you like best about the product?

SDL Tridion is an ideal platform for huge enterprises that need to analyze a significant amount of data and offer it in several languages.
You can integrate the system with third-party applications, tools and services (e.g. Salesforce, Eloqua, Sharepoint, Flickr, SOLR, AWS Cloud Search, etc.). For this purpose, there is a set of APIs available.

What do you dislike about the product?

Problems with mobile optimization I've seen that before.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about the product?

I like its Blueprinting feature too much. Bulk and scheduled publishing are much capable and user-friendly.

What do you dislike about the product?

1- Workflow should be made simpler in integration and lightweight in functioning.
2- Separate module-wise licensing model is sometimes hard to estimate.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are using it for multilingual content management and digital experience management. We are able to manage localized content much easily from a single place.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

It is an excellent content management product but not for small businesses as the license cost of this product is at the higher end.

What do you like best about the product?

Once you learn the system's complexity, it's got a nice feel to it, but the learning curve is quite heavy. Being a headless system, there are many many unfamiliar and awkward aspects

What do you dislike about the product?

There are literally so many things to dislike. First, it's very slow; it's also very complex. It's a mess, no way to preview before you publish. It's just a very bad CMS overall and I would not recommend it.. and there are reasons why there are not many developers that have experience in it.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

SDL creates its own problems. However we use this to manage content and build new pages on our website.

As an honest recommendation, I would stay far away from this CMS; there are many other better ones out there.

It also provide blueprinting technology which proves its value to the organization which have globalized websites multichannel marketing, multi website management,etc.

It is one of the expensive content management system

We create global website with multilingual supports,SDL provide translation manager and enable company to configure their translation is within the existing blueprint structure and we can show or hide any page or component according to the requirement.

SDL Tridion is the best CMS available in the market which provides building blocks like components and page templates,component presentation , component pages and schemas.
Anyone can easily creates a global website with the help of translator manager present in SDL

Having to update data twice makes it tome consuming

Updating web pages seamlessly on a day to day basis, creating new sections, adding format styles, etc. This has really made it a one stop solution for all content update needs.

Localization could be improved to a good extent.
