Great for Schools
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use, installation, cloud backups, and low maintenance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our installer was terrible. They are so easy to install we should have just done it ourself.

We didn't want to mess with a local video servier. Verkada takes care of that and provides cloud backups

Easy to implement enterprise camera system
What do you like best about the product?
The process of installation was very simple. Just plug the camera into your network and quickly configure the Verkada Command portal. We were able to see all of our camera's in a matter of minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downsides are you will pay a license fee every couple of years to use the portal, but the hardware has a 10 year warranty and is well worth the continued cost for monitoring your environment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need to monitor the interior and exterior of our commercial warehouse building. This camera system from Verkada helps us see problems as they may arise and provide video after the fact if it is needed. Also able to track people that should not be in and around the building with automated alerts.
EASY EXPERIENCE EVER
What do you like best about the product?
The rep. was extremely helpful (Noah Perets) and answered all our questions. He was very knowledgeable about the cameras. Other companies had no idea of what we were looking for in our detention center security issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Absolutely nothing!!!!!!!!! Everything is working as demonstrated in the buying process. I don't believe there is anything I'd change. No improvements are recommended on our end!!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The clarity of the Verkada cameras is amazing. It allows so much better viewing of our units. This allows staff to be more alert and sufficient in their job duties.
Verkada sensors are very intuitive and extremely east to setup!
What do you like best about the product?
In the K-12 education space, time is valuable so to be able to install and train our administrative staff quickly ourselves is amazing. The user interface for Verkada Command allows a quick setup even for our less tech-savvy building staff.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far the sensors have been exactly as described and correctly alerted staff to a myriad of concerns. We have no complaints. I would like to have the ability to chain the devices together rather than have to do "home-runs" back to a switch but that is very minor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the largest concerns in the K-12 environment is vaping. Students who are under age or are using illegal substances bring safety concerns to any building.

I was in need of cameras and door access. They have provided answers to every issue and problem I have had.
Great technology combined with great service
What do you like best about the product?
Verkada offers a comprehensive suite of technology at a good price and backs it up with great service. We use their cameras, access control and guest management system. We are very happy with all of them. They have a range of cameras for every application. The cloud storage is convenient and inexpensive. The interface is simple and easy to use. Of note is the fisheye camera. It's almost like magic. It covers a 180-degree range in every direction and can zoom in on a target like it's pointed directly at it. While continuing to record the entire field of vision the whole time. The access control works flawlessly and our employees love being able to use the phone app to open gates and doors instead of their badges. We are in the process of replacing our entire system of access control and cameras with Verkada equipment because it's simply a better solution.
The service is also top-notch. Our sales rep Pierre is super-responsive and easy to work with. We've never had a problem with sales or support. When we wanted our cabling contractor to get Verkada-certified for installing the Verkada equipment, Pierre made it happen.
And finally, when it seems everyone is having supply chain issues, Verkada delivers. For us to get the equipment any faster, they'd have to ship it before we ordered it!
Highly recommend Verkada solutions across the board.

What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly don't have any negatives on Verkada. When we started using Verkakda equipment we had a little confusion about our licensing but Verkada made sure everything worked and they resolved the licensing issue quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vekada's cloud-based solution means that we don't have to figure out our storage requirements. We can select how long we want to retain video and the license accomadtes the storage, we don't have to figure out the storage required for 30-day retention and worry about running out. Verkada also eliminates the need to maintain any backend systems - everything is cloud-based which fits our strategy perfectly.
Great Equipment, easy to search and find recordings of security footage
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use of the website, setting up alerts that free keeps are yards and offices secure.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have found no issues that have not been resolved with support

Cloud base camera system that is accessed over several platforms
We love Verkada!
What do you like best about the product?
We used to have a stand-alone DVR - no alerting. Verkada alerts so we only focus on those and we know what is going on now in our environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only think we have disliked, is that sometimes a camera is slow to show the live stream. Otherwise, we don't have anything we dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Alerting when movement is detected after hours. Being able to use BlueTooth on our phones for door access. Security in our parking lot!
