Easy to implement, lots of locations, and amazing support
What do you like best about the product?
Everyone I've worked with in Megaport, from our Account Manager, Customer Success Manager, and Megaport's support staff have been very responsive and easy to work with. They listen to our needs and provide solutions that make sense for us. They are present in quite a lot of locations which makes building connectivity much simpler. Reliability is also great.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've hit a few capacity issues I wish I could've caught using the portal or API. However support has been great in digging into those.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Megaport to build out point-to-point layer 2 connectivity across regions and then we build our routing on top. We also use Megaport to connect to AWS, Azure, and GCP so we can access quick burst CPU in busy periods from those cloud providers.

everything is good. nothing really challenging.

What do you like best about the product?
The thing I like best about Megaport is the convenience their products provide. Not having to go through a million sales hoops to be able to order point to point VXCs, IX, or Internet is a game changer.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing on point to point VXCs is pretty high if you look at it from a cost per Mbit point of view compared to other options on the free market.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Point to point connections to third parties, IX, and IP Transit. Doing these solutions through Megaport is seamless in comparison to other options.

Not sure yet, just started using it and will decide later.

Billing is a nightmare and does not fit our AP process to allow for quick and easy payment via our AP team.

What do you like best about the product?
Megaport is super easy to work with and establish the connectivity that our organization needs to our customers and cloud environments. Our account team is knowledgeable and is always willing to answer any questions that we have.

I can't say I dislike anything, but something aspects around controlling BGP routes in a cloud router could be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We don't have a need for the bandwidth that's possible on dedicated circuits. Megaport helps us save costs by being able to create smaller pipes for the traffic we need to pass.
Megaport customer support is always prompt, fast, and willing to assist to get to the cause
What do you like best about the product?
The support. The WebUI is great and the map is pretty, but the support is just amazing. They have gone above and beyond helping with issues that aren't on their side, just making sure we succeed.

So far, we don't have any complaints. We are a happy customer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Megaport is a primary upstream for us and we initially had global BGP reachability with a new IP space. They worked with us to make sure all AS-SETS were correct and everything in place for peers to correctly accept us.
