average with self service transition
What do you like best about the product?
prior to self service the apis were quite stable and easy to use, no hiccups with activations
What do you dislike about the product?
the self service transition was pretty problematic - we had several issues with the scrapers even with the simples activation of them. This lead to couple of missed opportunities at our end, unfortunately
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
standardzed ecom stores are ok, but for the more customized sources (full with js) the renderers are suboptimal, many of the cases there were unable to retrieve the content properly. then we had to develop our own solutions, rather than rely on an api
No fuss, premium service that just works
What do you like best about the product?
I find the support and communication from account managers to be very good, but the real winner is the products and tools that Oxylabs provide which are high quality and do exactly as they promise. No more setting up third party tools for them to fall over after a month or two, we've been a customer for over a year and have never had to reconfigure anything or come up with a workaround solution. It is set and forget.
What do you dislike about the product?
They appear to be in an eastern European location so english is not the first language, however the communication has not been impacted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We require data extraction from a number of sources, some more difficult to obtain than others due to anti-bot technologies that are becoming more and more common. Oxylabs has great products that achieve the results we need, which we have been unable to replicate elsewhere.
Constant errors and unfriendly and rude support.
What do you like best about the product?
The setup and payment was easy. But then that only frustrates you when they take money for a service that is clearly broken.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their customer support are rude, disrespectful, unqualified and unhelpful. As a senior developer of over 20+ years they tried to actually tell me how the Internet works. Such rudeness.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am simply testing an api that I have written with my team, which it fails to even reach in 80% of calls. The data centres outside of IS are almost useless.
The best proxy service I had to try
What do you like best about the product?
I use Oxylabs proxies everyday for a very large amount of requests and I have 99,99% success rate on my requests, I'm very happy with this service. It was also very easy to implement as they offer a variety of authentication methods.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I don't like. I could say it's a bit expensive but I guess it's the price to have a quality service with a good customer support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I need to scrap data from APIs that have request number limitation by time and by IP. With oxlylabs proxy I can change my for each request so I'm not limited anymore.
High quality and great service
What do you like best about the product?
We've been Oxylabs customers for over 5 years now, originally for their datacenter proxies which after extensive testing proved to be the most performant and most reliable proxies available. They can handle the scale we require and have always provided us with great service throughout the years.

Self-service options are still limited vs competitors.

We run data extraction at a large scale, Oxylabs is able to provide us with the proxy infrastructure we need to provide reliable service to our clients.

Sufficient number of proxies and their reliability. A large number of supported countries. Also customer service is very good.

I can't think of anything, everything is fine. Possible price could be lower :).
