Streamlined workflow integration with some learning curve
What do you like best about the product?
ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric provides seamless integration across multiple workflows, making it easier to consolidate data from different systems into a single, unified process. The automation capabilities reduce manual effort and improve productivity, while its flexibility allows customization for complex business needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
While powerful, the platform can have a steep learning curve for new users, especially when setting up advanced configurations. Initial setup and customization may require significant technical expertise, and performance can occasionally be impacted when dealing with extremely large datasets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric helps unify data from multiple systems and applications into a single workflow, eliminating silos and reducing the need for manual data transfers. It provides real-time visibility into processes, enabling faster decision-making and more accurate reporting. By automating repetitive tasks and connecting disparate systems, it improves operational efficiency, reduces errors, and ensures a more consistent user experience across departments.
Unifies data across systems to drive intelligent
What do you like best about the product?
Unified Data Access – We can pull in data from multiple tables and sources (including external systems) like Apache Kafaka, AI Search and provides single pan of view with Automation Center feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
Licensing & Availability – Some Data Fabric capabilities are tied to specific editions or require extra licensing, so not everyone can just “turn it on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Unified access to data with these we can make better decision making to solve all business problems.
The best of use of AI so far
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that the architecture of Servicenow remains simple. It's good to have a methodology that's just 3 phased but does such a big and complex task of handling so much of data. The input into transformation into output shows great understanding of core fundamentals to make it work and to make it work so smoothly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Actually there's nothing to point out except maybe the fact that a workflow creation can be a bit cumbersome at times with a process that's rightfully long in every logical sense.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As of now, keeping in mind that we are at a very early stage of this process, I would say it's definitely the documentation and archival parts of ServiceNow that really speak volumes to us. It really helps us do just what we want and also makes it worry free and hassle-free in every way.
Time saving
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric is the organization. One of my most favorite upsides is the simplicity of how it all works.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I dislike about ServiceNow WorkFlow are the gaps in the documentation. Often times it can be confusing when documentation isn’t great. Especially coming from another software trying to learn ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
data orchestration, integration, and governance across siloed systems.
Seamless Integration
What do you like best about the product?
It’s very helpful with how seamless it connected to my data sources, whether I was using older systems, or newer cloud platforms. The zero-copy connectors were the most impressive.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve definitely feels steep sometimes, especially when trying to configure more complex integrations, or fine-tuning things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It automates end to end workflows across all systems without APIs which solves many business process issues.
A powerful way to connect data and workflows across the organization
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most is how it simplifies the integration between systems and data sources across different departments. It allows us to build end-to-end workflows without having to create complex custom integrations every time. The real-time data availability and the ability to reuse components across workflows has significantly reduced development time and improved consistency in how we manage operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve can be a bit steep at the beginning, especially for teams unfamiliar with the ServiceNow ecosystem. Also, while the platform is quite flexible, customizing some advanced behaviors might require scripting knowledge, which not all users are comfortable with. Lastly, licensing can become expensive depending on the scale of your implementation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Workflow Data Fabric, we had a hard time connecting data across different departments and systems, which slowed down automation and made reporting inconsistent. With this solution, we've been able to centralize our workflows and have real-time visibility of data across our operations. It’s made it easier to design scalable workflows, reduce manual errors, and speed up decision-making. It has definitely helped us reduce turnaround time for several internal processes and improve collaboration between teams.
My personal experience
What do you like best about the product?
Its really very easy to use. Provides best customer support. The ease of integration and implementation was remarkable. Loved the features.
What do you dislike about the product?
The resources available for self help could be improved. Seemed like it wasnt updated really well. Can make it smooth.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Earlier pulling data from different sources used to be messy and slow, especially when teams were using different tools. But with Workflow Data Fabric now everything is more connected liek for example the data from different departments or platforms can be brought into one place and used in workflows without needing heavy custom integrations.
It was great app to manage incidents
What do you like best about the product?
The integration with many other apps helps us a lot on our company to develop many things that we wanted.
What do you dislike about the product?
The time to create a new user is a little bit longer than expected
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I said before, they are increasing the catalog of apps that we can integrate together in order to do things in less steps.
Working with servicenow workflow data fabric
What do you like best about the product?
What i like most is how it brings all the data together in one place, making it easy to connect different systems and automate processes. It’s user friendly, helps reduce manual work and makes building and managing workflows much faster and more organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can feel a bit complex to set up , especially when connecting to multiple data sources or dealing with permissions. It can also take some time to get used to all the options and settings. Occasionally troubleshooting the issues is not very straightforward and we might need to spend extra time figuring out what went wrong.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the problem of connecting and organizing data from multiple sources. It reduces the manual effort to move or manage information between systems. Because of this automation process the workflows are faster and more relaible. Especially for me this means less time spent on repetitive tasks and fewer errors .
Highly recommend servicenow workflow data fabric
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most is how it stitches together data from different apps and workflows without needing to build a bunch of custom integrations. It feels like the data just flows more naturally between departments now—HR, IT, Security—all staying in sync without a ton of back and forth.
What do you dislike about the product?
The setup wasn’t exactly plug-and-play—it took a bit of configuration and planning—but once it was in place, the payoff was definitely worth it. If you’re already in the ServiceNow ecosystem and looking for better data visibility across workflows, I’d definitely recommend giving Workflow Data Fabric a try.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric, one of our biggest headaches was dealing with siloed data. Different departments had their own systems—IT, HR, customer service—and getting a full picture of what was going on meant jumping between dashboards, exporting data manually, or chasing down updates via email. It was time-consuming and error-prone.
Workflow Data Fabric changed that by connecting all those data sources behind the scenes. Now, data flows across workflows automatically, which means I don’t have to manually piece things together. For example, when a new employee is onboarded, everything from provisioning IT access to setting up payroll and compliance tasks happens seamlessly, because all the necessary data is visible and shared in real time across systems.
