Razor
Automated scheduling has reduced patient wait times and still needs smoother workflow adoption
What is our primary use case?
Razor Platform serves as my main tool for clinical operations, particularly at my project which has a polyclinic, where it helps reduce patient wait time by automating their time schedule and appointed times while coordinating according to staff workflows.
A specific example of how I use Razor Platform in a typical day involves patients who have diabetes. To reduce their wait time, they schedule their bookings on a given day at a given time, so that coordinating staff can review the workflows and manage their IDs and provide the tokens they have been allotted. Additionally, engagements in chronic care utilize Razor Platform to send personalized reminders to patients for taking their medications, which helps improve outcomes.
How has it helped my organization?
Razor Platform has positively impacted my organization by providing significant benefits to clinical operations through reduced patient wait times via automated scheduling. It also benefits chronic care engagements by sending reminders to patients for their medications and necessary reports to be brought to the doctor, with prescriptions provided via email, which improves outcomes. Furthermore, it supports multi-location chains in managing centralized billings and inventories across various branches using Razor Clinic, and includes a health benefit program that incentivizes patient follow-ups with reward-based engagement.
Since using Razor Platform, I have seen a reduction in patient wait times, with approximately 60% of patients experiencing shorter wait times, while approximately 40% may need to be rescheduled on busy days, but the 60% indicates significant improvement.
I have seen a return on investment through Razor Platform, with the notable metric that 60% of time is saved for various patients across different locations, which I consider one of the best aspects of its implementation.
What is most valuable?
Razor Platform offers several best features including Razor Clinic, which is a clinical management tool where AI-driven policies handle patient records and schedules for doctors who have appointments with patients, along with managing bills, pharmacies, and inventories. Another feature is Ready Path, which promotes data engagement between patients and doctors. Ready Path provides a 360-degree view of the patient's interactions and automates marketing so that patients receive SMS, emails, and notifications about their appointments. Additionally, there is a CRM for managing patient relationships.
Of the features mentioned, I personally find scheduling across multiple doctors most valuable in my day-to-day work because some patients need to see multiple doctors in a day, which requires coordinating their diagnosis reports to be shared with the doctors, who then provide the right prescriptions and treatments. Assigning multiple appointments in a day for different doctors is quite important and challenging, and I feel that this is one of the best features Razor Platform offers.
What needs improvement?
Razor Platform could enhance the user experience as some clinics may struggle with workflow changes due to steep learning curves, which suggests a need for better adoption. Data hygiene also needs attention as some patient data may lack accuracy. Additionally, integrating with different lab systems would simplify processes.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using Razor Platform for the last three years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
Razor Platform is stable in my experience.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
Razor Platform's scalability is good, as it supports growth from single clinics to large-scale chains, allowing patients to access different clinics worldwide for their required treatments, featuring independent modules for billing engagement and centralized controls for consistent workflows across branches.
How are customer service and support?
Customer support is good. I would rate the customer support as nine.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
Earlier, my team used Salesforce Health Cloud, but we switched to Razor Platform due to the higher licensing costs associated with Salesforce.
How was the initial setup?
The setup part is straightforward, as you can easily set up Razor Platform, although I am not certain about the costs as another team manages that aspect.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
Before choosing Razor Platform, we evaluated other options including Salesforce Health Cloud, primarily for its superior patient engagement features.
What other advice do I have?
I would advise others considering Razor Platform to take advantage of its strength in securing patient information and providing good healthcare solutions that enhance patient engagement and compliance. If someone has such requirements, I believe Razor Platform is the best choice compared to other tools in the market. I would rate this product overall as a seven.
Which deployment model are you using for this solution?
If public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid cloud, which cloud provider do you use?
Front-to-back FX compression has streamlined bulk operations and has delivered major risk savings
What is our primary use case?
Razor Platform serves as my front-to-back system where I work with clients and corporate entities to manage different types of confirmations and settlement. It is a product where I can maintain different asset classes and different derivatives, including collateral management, risk management, and a comprehensive package system.
In the area where I work, I focus on FX Compression, where the ultimate goal is to achieve minimum risk-weighted asset charges, and the underlying products are mainly FX cash products. I developed an approach in terms of how the aggregation can be planned for balance sheet management, which the BSM team reviews, and how PV01 can be mitigated.
As a whole, I am able to achieve this, and in terms of system scalability, Razor Platform is quite supportive to accomplish these objectives.
What is most valuable?
The best features Razor Platform offers in my experience are that the activities are seamless, and I can perform them in a bulk manner rather than individually. This definitely improves my work-life balance for the operations team.
Razor Platform has positively impacted my organization, allowing us to save around 4.3 million dollars in total gross due to lower risk-weighted asset charges, which reflects well on my product and project initiatives meeting objectives, resulting in a very positive outcome.
What needs improvement?
Razor Platform needs to be reviewed in a timely manner regarding the process and the parameters it supports to enable expansion to other derivatives and cash products. For now, I think it is sufficient.
I have no specific pointers to add regarding needed improvements or features I would like to see in future updates.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have worked nearly three years on Razor Platform, specifically on the FX Compression component.
What other advice do I have?
I find this interview should ideally be very short and crisp, needing to be around five to ten minutes, but it is taking a long time. Therefore, I suggest having five to six questions instead.
I would rate Razor Platform an eight on a scale of one to ten.
I chose an eight because it is not fully automated; it requires human interaction to provide the feed before it can act. If it were fully automated and able to pick up transactions and follow with aggregation, then I believe it would deserve a higher rating, but for now, an eight is appropriate.
I would definitely advise others looking into using Razor Platform to give it a try and see how it works, as it is definitely a good investment. My overall review rating for Razor Platform is eight out of ten.
