Good product, technical support needs work
What do you like best about the product?
Does everything that the vendor says it will do in regards to desktop management.
What do you dislike about the product?
Trying to get support for features that don't seem to work properly was a huge problem. Customer service was very slow to respond to any issues whether they minor or major.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No longer using this product. We were using it for desktop management and application deployment.
excellent administration tool
What do you like best about the product?
its easy administration to the assets of the company
What do you dislike about the product?
when wanting to deploy new updates, it is prolonged
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mitigate the previously managed vulnerabilities, leaving out the servers for not having an administration console.
Which is a good tool intended for IT administrators

Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a tool that offers a great benefit when using it, optimizing administration times and keeping all assets up to date with updates.

What do you dislike about the product?
there are still details to be tweaked, but it's not business disruptive
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Patch management, OS deployment, remote controlling, managing inventory
The Best application for end point management.
What do you like best about the product?
I Loved the patching and Software deployment Modules and the Inventory Modul as well.
So simple to use and has a plethora of information. This is the best alternative for SCCM and Bigfix.

What do you dislike about the product?
systems outside the network need a gateway server to communicate with the on-prem DC server, But I would love to have that product included in the OEM pricing instead as a separate add-on
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In work from home scenario, managing remote PCs is a breeze. Security updates, Software deployments, Performance monitoring, and even Policy rollouts were smooth.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
for endpoint management ... go for it
So far, so good!
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive and easy-to-understand interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some confusion around Sites, IP Scopes, and Scope of Management. Not super clear to me, yet. But we'll get there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Regulatory compliance, patch managemenht, primarily.
There is no support for this product.
What do you like best about the product?
There is a good idea behind this product, many useful tools included. But because of complexity, there are many bugs and problems.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the past eight months, I opened a lot of tickets related to bugs, security issues, and problems with the software. Most of them are MAC OS related. 50 % of these tickets are unresolved, so we have unusable software. It is impossible to talk to a real support person. The whole support team is based in India, and they reply by email only once a day, just asking you to upload logs . Phone support is also useless because there are no people to answer unless you are looking to buy more licenses. So definitely not recommended for large mission-critical deployments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asset management.
An amazing tool which can save you a great amount of time.
What do you like best about the product?
Honestly, all the features are amazing !! The best part is it saves a lot of time. I really like the patching part and the best of the best is it can patch 3rd party applications as well. Which is so awesome, I really wish I had this software a long time back which would have been so great. These days I am not worried about patching at all. Microsoft or 3rd parties I can patch them all from a single window. Great work team and keep the features coming.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some features that needs some improvements like the disk cleanup and some others. This cant replace the group policy features though. If a new machine is added then we have to add all the policies and task again to this machine. Which is fine but will end up forgetting every time, when you are managing multiple devices and 100s of users. While in group policies, we can just add the machine to the OU and it can fetch all the policies, even if its a software installation. Another downside I would say, the sofware installation via packages, its a miss and go. Some times it works, some times it wont. 1 struggle I can point is the teams installation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Patching, patching and patching. Thats the most highlighted feature i can say. I can see all the status pull the reports. And these all so accurate. And it do have some decent features for managing the windows clients.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are a single technician managing multiple Servers, Firewalls, Users, Clients and so on. Beleive if you defenitely need this. It saves a lot of time and effort for your patching and other administrative parts especially when you are dealing with clients having multiple version of windows and 3rd party softwares. The desktop central makes it so easy for such activity. No more headaches in patching. I know it comes with a cost, but remeber not all good thing comes for free. You will defenitely love this beautiful solution once you started using the same.
Outstanding product for centralized management and inventory.
What do you like best about the product?
Desktop Central is so feature packed it leaves you wanting for nothing. I can't think of anything it is missing. I also appreciate how often we get updates and bug fixes. It is very well supported.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything I dislike. The product is solid.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to manage patch deployments, self service software installs. remote support, software inventory, custom scripting .
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are fed up with SCCM look no further, this is a one stop shop for centralized management.
Decent Product, with some glitches
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to manage our laptop/desktop and mobile device infrastructure. It is a product that gets the job done and allows us to see many details about each device and upgrade them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Adding a machine to a "remote office" can be iffy. Sometimes they add to the correct remote office, and sometimes they do not. Also, some of the patches (mainly MacOS) software updates don't go through consistently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can now patch machines more consistently and automatically. It is a great product to get an overview of your device infrastructure as well. The business performance has increased.
It is the best software that I have seen to manage PC networks.
What do you like best about the product?
What I like the most is the integration between different services in a single system and the possibility of using it as needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
what I don't like is that it only has a server installer for windows systems when other ManageEngine products do have one for Linux
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
manage to update PCs on the network that do not have internet with windows patches without using so much storage space on the server, have a centralized inventory of PCs, help remote users to work or solve problems with remote desktop control and much more
