Insights at your fingertips
What do you like best about the product?
If you do marketing on Facebook, Google and LinkedIn, how to you keep track of the performance data so you can compare the three channels? Well, with HubSpot you just connect your accounts and you have the insights you are looking for. Automatic calculations of conversion rates and ROI. No need to fire up that Excel spreadsheet. That is just for starters. HubSpot makes it easy to organize your customer database and send personalized messages to them.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I really dislike. When I get stuck I just send a message to support and my problem is solved the same day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using HubSpot for inbound marketing and CRM. Saving a lot of time with automated work processes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
HubSpot is perfect if you want to work seriously with inbound marketing. You have to invest to learn how to use the platform and that takes time. If you put in the effort you will be rewarded.
User Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
Scheduling for multiple social media platforms is a breeze using HubSpot. I like using the list view for scheduling and using the calendar view to be sure I’ve got what I need. Being able to sort the views by campaign, platform, type of post is pretty great.
What do you dislike about the product?
When scheduling I don’t like that after you select the platform you are scheduling to, you cannot delete it if it’s a mistake or decide that you don’t want to use it. I haven’t figured out if there’s an easier way to get rid of it other than deleting after it’s been scheduled. Also there are so many bells and whistles that I haven’t even touched yet. I’m sure the classes they hold every once in awhile would be a tremendous help but they are kind of pricey and the company doesn’t really have the budget to send me for a weekend.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting daily/monthly Reports are great. I can see where I need to adjust what I’m doing. Plus all the webinars are very helpful and help me dial in even further.
Transparency leads to accountability
What do you like best about the product?
When using the full stack, CRM, marketing, service - everyone has full visibility into the contacts actions and behaviors. This leads to better decisions and empowers our team to take immediate action.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the sequences were more intelligent, similar to a workflow. The reporting has gotten better, but it could still use more work at being intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are discovering opportunities we never knew about and are on pace to increase new and renewable revenue.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take the time to get your initial set up and data correct at the beginning of the project.
Automation Optimization and Moving Toward Inbound
What do you like best about the product?
The intuitive workflows, buyer personas, chatbots, analytics, social and website optimization tools have resulted in increased inbound leads and conversions and provide us with the knowledge to make informed business and campaign optimization decisions on a daily basis
What do you dislike about the product?
There is limitations on the social postings, specifically for Instagram where Hootsuite actually offers the ability to add multiple pictures in a slideshow variation but hoping HubSpot has this feature on the enhancement list. Also would love if they were able to integrate directly with Netsuite as right now we have to use a 3rd party integration tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Driving more inbound conversions is the number one measurable benefit, but the fact that we are much more aligned with meeting our buyers at the stage in the buying process they're at and being to personalize their entire experience is immeasurable.
HubSpot usage: A beginners point of view
What do you like best about the product?
HubSpot's user interface is really nice and smooth to use. Since I'm only a beginner it was very easy to navigate through the various tools available, and even easier to understand them. It also helps that HubSpot support is the best thing, quick, reliable and lovely to talk to!
What do you dislike about the product?
Some processes could be streamlined a little more. A big part of my role is social media. I understand that because those platforms are external to HubSpot that there are only certain features that can be implemented. But because we are an agency, handling multiple accounts. We've found the social media tool to be lacking. The main issue is tracking the posts - once scheduled they feel like they just go out automatically with no prior warning. Maybe having a system in place to let us know 5 minutes before that a social media post is going to go out so we can triple check. Currently, I export all my social posts into google calendar for that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
E-mails and workflows are a godsend. I love that feature, everything is automated and pulling up relevant information quickly is extremely helpful. It saves us a lot of time and effort to look for specific contacts when we can just pull up a quick list, or check the workflow status.
The personalisation of e-mail is also good, let's us add in the e-mail (especially internal emails) the tokens of where these new contacts are coming from, what information they have filled in etc.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
You can learn much from their online blogs and tutorials - but the best way to learn is by doing. HubSpot won't publish anything until you tell it to, so mistakes can be made without hard consequences.
HubSpot makes Campaigns automated and easy
What do you like best about the product?
Hubspot makes it very easy to manage Campaigns, especially Ad campaigns (which is my area of expertise). I can track visits, downloads, form submissions, and page visits across the website from people who visit through a LinkedIn or Google ad. Retargeting is also easy to do. It is really easy to jump right in and get started.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the interface is clean and easy to use, there is so much depth and detail in some sections. I feel like we aren't using the full capabilities of HubSpot just yet (we've only been a user for about 3 months), and while it is easy to get started, there can be a steeper learning curve for some of the more complex tasks. I will say that despite this, there are a ton of videos, help files, and even chat representatives to help me through issues, so I feel like they have really addressed the one hurdle to taking on the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HubSpot has really improved lead tracking, which is a major priority for us. We can see exactly how many new contacts we have garnered from a campaign, and being able to report this to management with eye-catching reports is just fantastic.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
My true recommendation is give it a try. It is the best marketing platform I've used in my 20 years of marketing experience. It's easy to start with, and below the surface there is a ton of functionality.
We use Hubspot for almost everything
What do you like best about the product?
Prior to having HS as a CRM, our company had many different platforms for things like email marketing, social scheduling, forms, landing pages, text, chat, and phone, as well as campaign analytics. HS is a one-stop shop for everything (almost).
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not really a fan of the design manager part of HS. I think that it is not user friendly, and is very difficult to work with. I try to leave it alone as much as possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HS has a lot of hidden features that we're continuously stumbling upon. But I"m slowly realizing how important their report tool can be. Once you learn how to utilize it, it's super helpful. Also the learning center and support inbox are very useful tools - even when you're struggling with something that isn't necessarily related to HS.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use the learning center and be sure to reach out to support when you have questions - those tools are there for a reason - use them!
So easy to post to social media on multiple accounts!
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using the social media marketing aspect of Hubspot for a few months now and just love the ease of posting to multiple accounts. Hubspot makes it easy to upload photos from a number of sources and add them to your marketing schedule. A clean layout makes it easy to see what you have going on. Would definitely recommend!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I've experienced in using Hubspot for social media marketing is that it's not super easy to downsize a photo that is too large for social media. (Hubspot only allows use of images that are 4mp or less.) An automatic downsize feature to the proper size for use with social media would be amazing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hubspot has allowed me to keep up my social media marketing with speed, accuracy, and ease. So grateful for the tools Hubspot provides.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a try...free isn't always better, especially when it comes to running your business.
We Run Everything Through Hubspot
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the ease of use. We got forms and workflows up and running within a day. It's also a very intuitive interface across the board. I appreciate the frequency of new features and the incredibly responsive support I receive when I need help. The integration with SalesForce has been extremely easy to manage and we have complete control over what synchs and what doesn't. Our BDs actually prefer using Hubspot's email tools to SalesForce's.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since I've come from using Marketo and Eloqua I sometimes miss the robustness of those tools. However, it's never been anything that has slowed us down. The cost of the tool has gotten to the point where it's no longer a reason to elevate it above other systems. It costs about the same as Marketo, more than Pardot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We automate all Marketing processes with Hubspot, from forms and landing pages, to BD follow-up, social posting, Ad management, chat, and email marketing. All new leads are captured, vetted, and managed in Hubspot before being pushed to SalesForce for the Sales team. We run automated nurture campaigns to keep leads engaged and it all works very well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I believe Hubspot is still the easiest marketing automation tool to get up and running, providing value quickly. However, the cost of the platform is no longer a benefit for most organizations.
Solid content marketing management tool for medium-sized businesses
What do you like best about the product?
HubSpot's marketing software provides in-house teams with an efficient way to manage content, from website pages, to blogs, to social media and more. I particularly enjoy being able to manage my company's LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook accounts from one place, scheduling content and analyzing reporting in a single platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
HubSpot has a number of limitations when it comes to functionality. Modifications of templates for things like email are limited or tricky - especially if you are unfamiliar with coding. Reporting is also limited, as far as trying to go from a high level view to a single post view, looking at information at aggregate and trying to get a holistic sense of how your content is performing with the metrics you care about - a lot of these tools are challenging to navigate and inflexible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefits of HubSpot are primarily in managing so many different aspects of marketing in once place - contacts, email, social, blogging, landing pages and automation. Problems I'm currently solving for are around reports/dashboards, email creation with templates and modules (depending on the editor you're using - standard or drag & drop), and getting the most out of the tools in general.
