Good CRM for a free platform

  • October 09, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Nice that it is free, well designed and stylish/on-trend dashboard. Works on mobile and support is fairly responsive which is a positive, especially for larger businesses. Really great blog and content marketing around it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Feels a bit clunky and old school compared to the competition. Things dont feel extremely responsive and there is a lot that they offer, but none of it feels very complete. It's like the jack of all trades platform for marketing, but I think most people are moving towards more elegant tools that are separate but super powerful for their purpose.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Customer relationship management software for a SaaS company. Nice tool for a free offering.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a try, their free plan is OK and we're still in the implementation process at the moment.

Hubspot is user friendly and free for small business

  • October 09, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I am the sort of person who'd rather NOT read the manual, and just jump in instinctively. Hubspot is one of the more user friendly CRMs I've ever tried. The fact that you can get so many functions without having to immediately start paying for it is GREAT. How do you know if you will like something if you can't really try it fully? Also Hubspot Academy is a nice feature. I am genuinely motivated to learn more through this interface, and it'll make me a better marketer and leader.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not sure if this is Hubspot in particular, or just the nature of CRMs, but it's been a little confusing to understand how the data fields sync up when you import. The lingo is slightly different from other CRMs, so it would be nice if there was a cheat sheet (or maybe there is and I couldn't find it quickly) to explain what a "lead" vs. a "deal" is and other terms that mean slightly different things in other databases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are building a company on a global level and I am in charge of sales and marketing. It is very easy to lose track of things when they start to grow quickly. I love the email and Linkedin integration. Now I just need to do better with tracking and building the system.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take the time to set it up and go through the tutorials, or ask an experienced user to help.

Your go to source for everything you may need.

What do you like best about the product?
Every person that comes in contact for the business that I work for gets recorded into HubSpot immediately. It is user friendly and allows you to create lists of daily tasks and send company emails with your own professional templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
They keep coming out with new things and changes which can make it hard to keep up with HubSpot, This might not always be a bad thing but if its not broken why bother trying to fix it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HubSpot has turned me into an even more organized person giving me the tools I need to keep everything on track. All of my customers are in one spot and every email is saved. This is great because you can always look back for references.

Hubspot social tool in Marketing Hub

  • October 09, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It houses all of my communication tools in one place: email, social, reports, forms, ... The platform is robust but also user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything right now. I love using HubSpot Marketing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me communicate to a variety of audiences in a targeted way. I can see what campaigns are working, so it helps me strategize what is next.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
With its all-inclusive nature, helpful training videos, and great customer support, Hubspot has been a valuable tool for our business.

Marketing Hubspot Automation

  • October 08, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Easy reporting that can be exported to make presentations. The integration with our website and forms worked very well. It makes it easier to track our PPC campaigns progress.

- It's A Complete Marketing Platform
Back in the day, which actually wasn't so long ago, marketers were forced to juggle between different platforms to market their potential customers.

Now, with HubSpot, you can create and optimise your content; nurture leads; monitor contacts as they evolve into customers and oversee how your marketing is progressing. All in one tool.

Without a doubt, HubSpot's capabilities makes it one of the best marketing platforms out there, and arguably the best for inbound marketing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integration can be tricky - we had to hire outside to do this as the forms on our site that fed to HubSpot wasn't as straightforward as the instructions made it sound.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted to easily track leads from our site, forecast, see historical reporting and feed into Salesforce (our CRM.) We've seen all of these.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
How easy it will be to integrate into your site, forms and CRM. If you don't have the budget or resources for this it can be a headache you didn't see coming.

MarTech tool all wrapped in to one

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
CRM, CSM, Social, Content, Email, blog, analytics and sales tools all rolled into one is a game changer. Having one portal to be able to do execute all activities makes it so much easier to do my job and monitor progress that marketing have to the business and bottom line.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like to have more deep dive analytics. The current analytics is to high level but gives us what we need for now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Intention is to build engagement and optimise brand visibility. We've been able to do this through HubSpot.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I've used a lot of CRM, CMS and email platforms over the years but HubSpot is by far the best in terms of usability, simplicity, interface. From sales, marketing to customer success, these are all housed under one system and ultimately makes my job easier to get things done.

HubSpot has streamlined our marketing efforts.

  • October 08, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how connected our marketing efforts are because of HubSpot. This tool also helps us manage a large donor base, and has made list segmentation and targeting a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some functionality issues with the social media management, but I think that is dictated by the social platforms themselves, not HubSpot. Examples: you can't create a Twitter thread, image limits, campaigns only count posts that are scheduled via the HubSpot app, cannot edit image alt text via HubSpot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HubSpot allows us to streamline all of our marketing efforts. Before this position, I had 4 years' experience with the tool, so I had a huge advantage when starting my current role.

Great service but could use some more features

  • October 07, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I mostly use HubSpot for social media. With that being said, I like that I can connect HubSpot with a Bitly account. This helps me keep track of clicks. I also like the scheduling features as well as the calendar views as this can help me narrow down to the brands and the timeframe I want to view. Scheduling several posts at one time has also never been easier for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reports feature. This feature is very limited and has only the basic information. Right now, when I compile a weekly report for our social media channels, I am having to use HubSpot, Facebook Insights and Instagram Insights. We are actually looking into supplementing our report with another program like SEMRush that can provide competitor insights and info on trends.
Also, I cannot schedule a video to post to Facebook through HubSpot. I can do it for Instagram, but not Facebook. So whenever I need to post a video, I must schedule it through Facebook which skews our analytics for HubSpot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HubSpot is a basic social media tool that allows me to schedule content. It also allows my team and me to look at the performance of a campaign across our emails, website and social media.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a program that can track overall campaigns and help with email personas, SEO content, and social media basics, this is the program for you. This is especially a good starting point for a digital department and can easily be supplemented with high performing niche programs.

Overall Great Experience

  • October 07, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The lead ads for Facebook are easy to implement and create workflows. I like being able to see all data at once, and everything is fairly customizable. There are tons of integrations, sky's the limit. Knowledgebase is a huge help and customer service is unparalleled. HubSpot seems to constantly be improving and adding new features.
What do you dislike about the product?
HubSpot is expensive, especially for small businesses. Having a lot of contacts can quickly add up, and HubSpot is raising their prices again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating new contacts with targeted audiences. It is highly beneficial to see all analytics in one place and dig into where traffic is coming from. Marketing, sales, and service just works together.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I definitely recommend the platform, it's very comprehensive but still easy to use. Compared to pardot, drip, kartra, etc - HubSpot is better without question. More features, better customer service that seems to care about your success with the platform.

HubSpot helps us drive more engagement and new clients

  • October 06, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The best part is everything is one place. As CMO, I migrated from 6 different CRM/MA/Lead Gen tools when I started to just having HubSpot. It does everything for us. Workflows, Social Media, CRM, Service, website chat, landing pages etc
What do you dislike about the product?
So far there is nothing I really dislike about HubSpot. It works so well and their support has been amazing especially in the beginning when I was messing up migration of data
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having all our tools in one box. It's actually saved us money as well as making us more effective
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a no brainer, especially as the CRM portion is free and you can do a lot of things just with the free part. If you're a start-up company and part of an Accelerator program, make sure to check if you have access to GAN and thus huge discount in the first couple of years with Hubspot
