Best solution for marketing automation

  • February 03, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The workflow solution is the best to automate the entire sales process of our company, as well as create a schedule for internal sales and increase customer retention / convert new leads.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to make the list import process easier, instead of having to go through 4 buttons to import a contact list quickly without any additional configuration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time optimization, avoid manually tracking everything, among the 1000 functions that Hubspot allows.

Easy and Effective Marketing Tool

  • February 03, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to understand and effective for organizing contacts. Makes building landing pages simple and effective. I personally use HubSpot to manage multiple PPC campaigns from Google Ads and Facebook Ads. The optimization tips for blogs and landing pages is extremely helpful. HubSpot provides simple tips for improving SEO that can be easily implemented.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not easy to integrate HubSpot reporting with Google Analytics and Ads. I had to go to a third party resource (Supermetrics) to connect the necessary Key Performance Indicators from Google Ads and Facebooks ads to MQL's, SQL's, Customers, and Contacts. The SEO reporting is slightly limited and I would like to see something for reporting on search queries and organic SEO. I would like to see an easier way to apply filters when trying to report on paid search campaigns. I would love to see a way to integrate HubSpot with Google Analytics so I can easily report on how our goal completions are leading to MQL's, SQL's, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use HubSpot to track our MQL's, SQL's, and more to related back to my PPC efforts - However, I need to use a third part resource (Supermetrics) to do so. I typically manage campaigns on Google Ads and Facebook Ads manager, but HubSpot makes this easier. We use HubSpot to qualify leads, which has led to better and more effective targeting in our paid ads, more relevant content on our blog, and increased sales for the company.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Start with the free trial to see if it fits your organization's needs. Use HubSpot if you want to create and optimize content, such as blogs and landing pages, organize contacts and leads, and manage social media posts and conversations. Leverage HubSpot's customer support team for any questions you may have - they are very knowledgable and helpful.

Robust, User Friendly Software

  • February 03, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Hubspot is easy to navigate and offers so many different features. You can manage your social media, email, CRM, sales, and support through one portal. It really helps tie everything together so that you can get advanced analytics on how all of your systems are working together.
What do you dislike about the product?
In Marketing Hub, if you don't host your blog and landing pages through HubSpot you loose so much potential information. It would be nice if you could just embed some code on your website and track the info as if it were hosted through Hubspot. We have a blog that had been running for years before we got Hubspot and we're not switching all those pages over so it's a bummer that it's just lost info.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social media management, email management, CRM, marketing automation and analytics.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Hubspot is expensive, so it isn't really ideal do smaller businesses. But for larger organizations, especially those looking to connect Sales and Marketing, it's features are out of this world.

All in all, very good

  • February 03, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
For the basic Hubspot version, it is free. So it is great for small businesses just starting out and not ready to splash loads of money.

The HubSpot CRM tracks customer interactions automatically, providing valuable insights into customer behavior and making it easier to know when to follow up.
What do you dislike about the product?
Compared to other CRM systems, HubSpot's platform is relatively inflexible. While there are certainly features you can customize around your team's processes and needs, so not ideal for organizations with very complex sales processes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quicker , more transparent sales process , all in one screen

Great all round tool

  • February 02, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We pretty much run our Marketing function around HubSpot so it makes life really simple. The support from HubSpot is also excellent - always very responsive and knowledgeable.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost of development - unlike Wordpress, Hubspot developers are fairly rare...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We run our entire marketing function (inc website) through HubSpot - it allows us to be more efficient, helpful when our team is dispersed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use a quality HubSpot partner, who won't overcomplicate the implementation and help you roll it out in phases.

Straight-forward software

  • February 02, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
HubSpot is a platform that carries all the necessary features without making it seem like it's too much. I was surprised at first at how quickly it took for us to start using it, even when there were a lot of new features we hadn't tried. HubSpot makes it easier to keep track of all important things - clients, companies, contacts and all that stuff. Having all this information stored in one place is extremely benefitial for us and it's easier for us to search for.
Being a non expensive software, HubSpot offers features that will be found in a higher price in other softwares. I like that HubSpot are able to give these features to us at a price that's affordable and reliable.
What do you dislike about the product?
While using it, I've encountered a few bugs that affect slightly our work, but I believe that HubSpot is constantly improving to get rid of these issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The amount of work that HubSpot puts into creating a platform that allows me to have all my CRM inquiries in one place is amazing as it is, and I think it has improved our communication skills as well as the way we work in our business with client. HubSpot has been of great help to achieve the sales operations management we've always wanted to have.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
HubSpot works in both a free and a paid way, and both of them are amazing. It has features that will make you want to use it constantly.

Modern cloud marketing automation suite

  • January 31, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
HubSpot does all the stuff marketers would expect and has a largely intuitive UI after a small learning curve. Suitable for medium sized teams to collaborate.
What do you dislike about the product?
If there are downsides with HubSpot it is the attempt to offer CRM-like features which sales / business development, in practice, are unlikely to adopt because they probably have a different main system for their work such as Salesforce. Presumably there are good integrations between the two for companies which are sane enough to make the right choices here.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This survey is probably the worst thing about HubSpot so far.

Updated 2022 review of the most powerful integrated marketing automation platform

  • January 31, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
If you are an internal marketing department or digital marketing agency, Hubspot will satisfy most small to medium size businesses out of the box. Integration partners allow enterprise-level businesses all the essentials needed for effective email, web, social, content, and paid marketing strategies. Hubspot is my first recommendation for digital marketing directors and managers. If you're a small business that needs a single marketing platform that integrates with top e-commerce and ad platforms, Hubspot is your answer. If you're an agency with several mid-sized clients and multiple campaigns, become a Hubspot platinum agency. Training courses, video tutorials, and user groups are valuable resources. Hubspot is consistently developing improvements with an active developer forum. They are not satisfied with today's solutions...they seek to continually grow with the ever changing world of digital marketing. Ask for access to beta features that make sense for your business! Custom solutions are provided thru dedicated tech support; although an incredible value, this is an added cost that may not be applicable for smaller businesses.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hubspot CRM received recent updates in 2020 with newer enterprise-level features, however, revenue attribution reports are limited. Handling multiple brands thru one Hubspot portal can be difficult, even at the enterprise subscription. The recent beta feature "Business Units" is an expensive addition and hopes to resolve the multiple brand issues. Although the success of Business Units remains to be fully realized including marketing functionality that addresses content partitioning and teams. Considering that Hubspot provides an all-in-one digital marketing platform, there are limitations to some features. Often the phrase "jack of all trades, master of none" applies here.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hubspot has resolved the most essential digital marketing needs. Tech support is responsive and there is a wealth of knowledge docs, tutorials, videos, and forum discussions.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
While Hubspot offers all the essential tools needed to run a digital marketing team, keep in mind that not all features are as robust as some stand alone competitors. Consider integrations and having a developer on-board to create custom APIs.

Great service, but high initial price point

  • January 31, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
HubSpot has all the tools you need for inbound marketing, and they integrate easily with just about any other system. Uptime so far has been 100%, and the system is fast and generally easy to use. The company also seems actively engaged in improving its services--which is good, considering that other companies sometimes take on an attitude of "you're just not using it right."
What do you dislike about the product?
Phone and chat support have basically disappeared since I started using HubSpot, so any support requests take a few days to resolve. The file editing system (website builder?) seems clunky and not very intuitive. I can't even begin to imagine building a website using their platform--fortunately, no one's ask me to yet. HubSpot also seems to lack an intermediate price plan, which means that I can't convince many of my clients to use it. Going from $50/month to $800/month is a big jump.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've used HubSpot to totally transform the digital presence of one of my clients (the only one that can afford the price tag). By using HubSpot to create blogs, landing pages, CTAs, pop-ups, emails, workflows and everything else on the inbound list, we've increased traffic and lead generation exponentially.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Before springing for the Professional tier, try the Starter and see what kinds of limitations you come up against. This will give you a better idea of the features you actually need, and how much you should be spending to get them.

Excellent software for automating marketing and sales processes!

  • January 31, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The workflow and automation functionality is my favorite tool in HubSpot. Workflows can help any marketing/salesperson regardless of their level of technical knowledge. Some of our team members have multi-step, complex workflows and some of our team members use one-step, simple workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the campaign reporting had slightly different functionality. You cannot attribute multiple campaigns to landing pages, but we often have multiple campaigns driving to one landing page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With the automation HubSpot allows us to create, our Admissions team can focus more time on their enrollment efforts and less time on manual processes.
