Expectational product

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use with custom built coding onto landing page
What do you dislike about the product?
Features isn't well friendly for web developers - its more of a marketing materials. Its take a while to get use to it

Marketing issues are general issues but it was dealt quickly with online chat that hubspot offers for customers

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Hubspot is pretty intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes on the social calendar it won't let you click the individual posts to edit them. I also dislike that FB and IG are not linked to Hubspot, big bummer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to track our companies growth and leads. We are also about to personify our audience and easily contact them through work flows and email blasts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There are a lot of tools with Hubspot and it is a great service. There's a lot of buttons that can seem over whelming but it's actually pretty easy to get the hang of.

Conveniently create and capture analytics all in the same place.

When designing landing pages, if you don't know coding, some of the templates can be restrictive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Combining four brand personalities under one brand now. Establishing forms and landing pages that leave impressions for our prospects and customers.

A User Friendly, All In One Marketing Tool

What do you like best about the product?
Email software, social media posting, blog posting, ability to pull reports, and other CRM capabilities. On top of the actual platform's positives, their customer service is also great. I've never had a problem that wasn't solved or at least answered promptly. With a paid account, you also have access to a dedicated rep that is always available by phone/email and schedules regular meetings with you to let you know about new product releases and different features on HubSpot that could be beneficial to your company.
What do you dislike about the product?
There really isn't much not to like about HubSpot. The ONLY negative I can come up with (and this won't apply to 99.9% of users) is when sending emails that were built using the drag and drop editor, we have found that the layout of the email appears wrong for recipients using Zimbra as their email provider (we only found this problem because we use Zimbra).

We have addressed this issue with HubSpot, but have also found that as long as emails are built using the classic editor, we have no problems so that's what we've been doing for the time being. Again, this should NOT deter you from using HubSpot because we have had no problems with any other email providers (seriously we're probably the only people using Zimbra).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As mentioned, HubSpot provides an easy all-in-one solution for just about all of our online marketing efforts. We post blogs and schedule social media posts across different platforms as well as capture leads, create landing pages, pull reports, create lists of website visitors, etc. If it's a feature on HubSpot, we're probably using it or learning how we can use it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely consider HubSpot if you're looking for a tool that will help you do it all. Their platform is very user-friendly and like I mentioned above, I haven't talked with anyone at the company that isn't an expert on their software. If they don't have the answer, they will make sure to put you in touch with the person that will. They are also consistently working to add features and updates to help businesses grow. You won't be sorry you gave them a try.

What do you like best about the product?
Having all the tools in one platform makes work easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features are not working as supposed to. Eg. sometimes changing the font in the email editor can be really frustrating. Also, sometimes finding some specific tool or feature can be put under a very unlogical headline. e.g. I was doing a pop-up banner and did not expect to find it from forms editor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Compared to my previous job when we had a website and CRM on different platforms, now having all under one platform helps daily work a lot and makes tracking and understanding the customer much easier
Recommendations to others considering the product:
A great all-around platform that covers almost every basic action needed in digital marketing. It also offers add-ons for more complex needs.

I love that we have all functions in one tool: page administration/creation, email marketing, social media calendar
What do you dislike about the product?
When i want to delete an already scheduled post, i need to go to the list of scheduled posts and look for it. I wish i could do that directly from the calendar

Tracking, reporting, page migrations and a lot more

What do you like best about the product?
The reports and stats offered are very insightful along with the ability to create lists and reports from there. I love the clone option with mailers.

Social scheduling is a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
Social scheduling is a breeze, however, multiple images cannot be uploaded to Instagram which is frustrating
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
streamlining my entire workflow process. Sending bulk, yet personalized emails to clients in workflows that do all the hard work for you.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Everything you need in one place. With the right thinking and logic, almost anything can be achieved on HubSpot. Start small and then expand as you get more familiar with it. If you stuck, contact support - they are amazing!

What do you like best about the product?
Workflows and integrated third party tools such as Google Ads, Facebook, Linkedin, Google Analytics. All cta's are integrated into the platform so you have full visibility of your customer interactions. HubSpot Marketing also gives us full visibility of the engagement from our contacts with any marketing activities such as document usage, website activity, advertisement interaction and marketing emails. As it is an all in one system we can manage interactions and run advanced workflows that create a stronger relationship with our customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be a little pricey if you want to use all features. Setup can also take some time to ensure all your marketing channels are in place and ready to go. There is also some requirement to have internal expertise or a third party consultant if you want to fully leverage their internal CMS for landing pages and blog pages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to keep in contact with our customers on a regular basis without increased administrative work. We're also able to understand how we acquire customers and where we are seeing the most success with our marketing. We integrated our advertising spend into the CRM so we are able to pair contact generation to paid advertisement as a result determine ROI without require complex Google Analytics setup.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Ensure you approach the use of HubSpot with an overall strategy in mind. The tool is incredibly effective with deep usage but will fail to produce results if you have no effective plan going into the subscription.

Hubspot Marketing Emails

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to add code snippets to my emails as I enjoy that freedom of design.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is at times confusing to use and requires a lot of training to get your head around if you're new to the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All of our marketing and acquisition emails are now in one place.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go into Hubspot with an open mind as it s difficult to use at the beginning but the hard work has paid off.

What do you like best about the product?
Very powerful marketing & sales automation tool.
Everybody in our team loves the UX, its just fun to work with Hubspot. We love all the features! Amazing how you can manage specific content types (mailings, CTAs, documents, ...) in separate places and simply link to them in automations, landingpages, mailings, blog posts etc.
So many options to automate processes - you need a good consulting partner on your side and a lot of process expertise (it's not a tool itself, its how you use it) but if you do, you have almost endless possibilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting:
Over all campaigns definitely needs improvement. In the evaluations the names are not shown, only cryptic codes, for which one must have a translation table ready. It's not possible to calculate the Cost per MQL, Cost per SQL, which is SUPER IMPORTANT! I don't care about a 300% higher cost per Lead if the conversion rate to MQL is at almost 100% — or, I don't care about a super low cost per lead if they don't convert to MQLs. Cost per Lead is a nice indicator but for a professional marketing approach it's not enough. Marketing teams are there to tribute to the companies success and therefore, we don't only need to generate conversions, we need to make sure the right prospects convert.

Funnel view should be available for every campaign (not just overall all contacts).

One should be able to manually add data. In Germany, XING is a very powerful channel, yet they don't offer API connection for Hubspot (or hardly any other tool). Also, what about events etc. --> one should be able to manually add channels and the related costs, link conversions to these channels / campaigns to gain a better overview on all marketing activities and their ROI.

Support:
They can be amazing but you have to know who to talk to. Some support employees are super high qualified — if you are starting with the tool you should review their work quality carefully to find out whom you should listen to. Some support employees don't really know the system, but they hardly admit it, which can be very misleading and a waste of time. We had situations where they lead us on a totally wrong path and built processes depending on the wrong solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Hubspot Marketing Pro + Sales Starter. Switched from ActiveCampaign to Hubspot in order to be able to create scalable processes in marketing & sales, since we are growing rapidly right now.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use it! Before implementing it, model all the processes you need and match them with the hubspot standard. Always stick with the standard, if possible because this tool is growing fast (new features are released on a regular basis). Focus on what brings you the biggest benefit. Don't rely on Hubspot Support only - team up with a Hubspot Partner.
