Streamlined Campaigns with Room for UI Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I love how HubSpot Marketing Hub’s email automation and analytics features work seamlessly together. The email automation allows me to build sequences and essentially set them on autopilot, which saves me time and effort. The analytics then provide detailed insights into each step of the campaign, showing me which parts of the email sequences people are opening or clicking. This level of detailed feedback is incredibly useful as it enables me to tweak and optimize campaigns based on actual user behavior rather than just making educated guesses. It's this capability that makes managing and tracking leads, as well as understanding what's working in my campaigns, much easier and more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the onboarding process overwhelming, as some parts of the interface are buried under too many menus, which complicates navigation. Additionally, the initial setup wasn't very simple, which added to the overall difficulty in getting started with the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use HubSpot Marketing Hub to manage email campaigns and track leads, which helps me refine strategies based on real interactions. The email automation and analytics integration streamline campaign management and adjustment based on actual behavior.
Effortless Email Automation with A/B Testing
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how HubSpot Marketing Hub makes it easy to run A/B tests and track essential metrics such as opens and clicks on emails. As a rapidly growing startup, we constantly test new marketing materials like subject lines and different email formats, so the ability to experiment, quickly get results, and see how users engage through open rates and other metrics is crucial for us. Additionally, I appreciate the automation features which are beneficial throughout the customer’s lifecycle, enabling us to seamlessly manage onboarding emails and communications about new product features, templates, and connectors. It's incredibly easy to set up, which suits our pace as a growing business perfectly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I sometimes encounter issues with accumulating too many junk HubSpot contacts. There is no efficient method to maintain a clean contacts list, leading to irrelevant entries from random form submissions on our website. Despite their irrelevance, we end up incurring extra costs for these contacts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use HubSpot Marketing Hub to automate my email campaigns, enhance customer engagement, and track valuable metrics like open rates. It simplifies A/B testing, allowing quick experimentation and result viewing, thereby improving our marketing strategies across the customer lifecycle.
Streamlined CRM with Robust Notifications
What do you like best about the product?
I love using HubSpot Marketing Hub for its simplicity and efficiency, which streamlines my day-to-day tasks at Fullstack Academy. It's incredibly easy to manage, without any complicated systems hindering my workflow. The active notification system is particularly impressive, as it instantly alerts me whenever a customer interacts with my emails or opens a link. This feature is invaluable for keeping me informed in real-time about customer engagement. Additionally, I truly appreciate the platform's status statistics and the ease of accessible filters, which allow me to efficiently monitor deal flow, measure closed deals, track total lead inflow, and assess the open deal amount yet to be closed. Furthermore, the initial learning curve was quickly overcome, making the rest of the process seamless and uncomplicated. Finally, based on my positive experiences, I would rate my likelihood of recommending HubSpot Marketing Hub to colleagues or friends as 9.5 out of 10.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am sometimes frustrated by the automation platform in HubSpot Marketing Hub, as it can delay the sending of important documents like student enrollment agreements to my customers' emails. This delay can disrupt the timely onboarding process for students.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use HubSpot Marketing Hub to streamline viewing contacts, lead flow, and deal flow. It simplifies CRM with easy scheduling and active notifications for customer engagement, improving productivity and tracking statistics effortlessly.
Big Software for Small Business: A Disaster!
What do you like best about the product?
For years, I've downloaded free resources from HubSpot and had recognized them as leaders in the field of marketing and marketing automation. Over time, I have created a monster of many applications and zaps to integrate different CRM and ESP platforms. We are a mom-and-pop-and-son microbusiness. When a HubSpot rep reached out to me, I was open to learn how it might be time to improve our internal processes and analytics to better achieve desired results when it comes in the areas of lead generation, promotion, and conversion. It all made sense to me and we were hit with a "hard sell" and sign now for a discount that's good for 24 hours. It all sounded like the answer to many challenges. And, perhaps for a large company with internal technical resources and band-width to focus on nothing but implementation, it would work. For us, it has been a nightmare!
What do you dislike about the product?
We feel entirely mislead about how we could adopt HubSpot and use it. 5 months after signing the contract, we have not yet begun using the software in spite of hiring a 3rd party to help us onboard. We spent an additional $4500 on this company and assured it as a deal. They created some templates and a few workflows but did not coordinate with the HubSpot migration team which created at least one conflict and did not help us move forward. The software is powerful and very technical and complex. We should never have been encouraged to get both Marketing and Sales simultaneously. One of the ways we justified the additional expense of HubSpot is the dissolution of several other applications and software subscriptions plus an expectation of advanced applications and integrations. None of that has come to light and I've had to renew at least three other subscriptions so now we're paying for HubSpot AND everything we had before. I expressed my concerns about being a solo-marketer within our small business with the sales rep. He assured me every account had a marketing manager to help. My first meeting with our Marketing Manager, a very capable and bright young woman, she explained we'd meet for 30 minutes every quarter. What a joke! I should have asked more questions and surely should have discussed how HubSpot is working, can work with very small businesses. In my opinion, they should not be selling to businesses as small as ours without transparent disclosures of the challenges of onboarding and setting up and the likelihood to successfully employ the software, you'll need ongoing technical expertise beyond what HubSpot can offer themselves.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've spent hours on integration activities and several hours trying to enhance the basic landing page and email campaign templates created by an agency. They were not very eye-appealing and, in my opinion, what we had been doing with Klaviyo on our own looked much more professional. I have not found the tools in HubSpot to be very intuitive at all. Basic contact segmentation is quite challenging, too. The learning curve in all areas is very steep especially when compared to other tools I've been using such as Leadpages for landing pages (an excellent tool with smooth Wordpress integration). It's hard to see now if this investment will pay off. Given so much frustration and upfront expense, we're still trying but I would advise any small business without internal technical and marketing knowledge to look at other easier to implement and more intuitive to use solutions.
Effortless Marketing Automation, Seamless Navigation
What do you like best about the product?
I love how HubSpot Marketing Hub is incredibly easy to use and comprehensive, allowing me to accomplish everything I need in one place. The intuitive navigation simplifies my workflow, and the platform's user-friendly interface ensures that managing tasks is straightforward. The workflows feature is particularly beneficial as it makes marketing automation easy and understandable, saving me from the tedious task of manually sending texts or emails to customers. I appreciate the ease of building templates, which are basic yet effective for beginners, and the seamless integration with tools like Sakari enhances our SMS campaigns. I also find the email automation straightforward, which bolsters our marketing efforts significantly. Additionally, the initial setup was simple, thanks to the guidance provided by snapshots.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find HubSpot Marketing Hub to have a steep learning curve due to the many features and options available. The side tabs can be overwhelming, making it difficult to navigate effectively. I would benefit from more webinars and help guides to better understand and utilize the platform. Additionally, I desire more detailed metrics to enhance my analysis and decision-making.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use HubSpot Marketing Hub to automate marketing processes, saving time on manual emails. Its workflows and integrations simplify tasks, while easy navigation and beginner-friendly designs enhance efficiency.
Powerful all-in-one marketing platform with an easy learning curve
What do you like best about the product?
It packs a lot of features together, like email marketing, automation workflows, landing pages, analytics, and CRM data in one clean and intuitive interface. The best thing I like about it is how perfectly everything works together, no messy integrations and no issues with the data sync process. Creating campaigns is really easy and fast, and the drag-and-drop tools make it really easy to build emails and landing pages. I also like its reporting dashboards. They’re customizable, detailed, and allow me to track the full customer journey from login to purchasing a plan.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the design tools feel a bit restrictive when I try to design highly custom layouts. A/B testing is available, but only on certain tiers, which feels unnecessary for a modern marketing platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped us in centralizing our entire marketing operation, like emails, lead scoring, content management, ads, and analytics, everything in one place. Instead of jumping across five different tools, our team can plan, execute, and measure campaigns in one easy workflow. It’s especially valuable for aligning marketing and sales, because everything lives inside the same CRM platform.
Outstanding Support Makes All the Difference
What do you like best about the product?
Support is fantastic. and rarely get stumped into having to bring in other resources.
What do you dislike about the product?
Developers seem to like to make change, just to have something to do. There is no real use or benefit to many of the changes to the UX.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not really solving many. The hub seems to be mostly as it has been for years. Yes, there are some additions, but not a lot that benefit us.
User-Friendly CRM with Room for Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I love how HubSpot Marketing Hub is quite user-friendly and allows me to highlight favorites so I can have easy access to the items I use the most. This feature saves me time, which I can then spend on more valuable activities, like tasks that directly contribute to making money, rather than being bogged down with inputting information. This kind of efficiency is crucial in my workplace as it streamlines processes and enhances productivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the integration capabilities lacking because there isn't an automated feature to import LinkedIn contacts into HubSpot Marketing Hub. This would be a valuable addition to streamline my workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use HubSpot Marketing Hub to store and organize information, keeping it tidy and easily accessible, which saves me time to focus on more valuable tasks.
