Good resource but needs work

What do you like best about the product?
I think Arena QMS can be a game-changer for managing quality and compliance. It's easy to use and can be used for alot of things like document control, audit management, or real-time access to information. The cloud-based setup ensures everyone on the team is always on the same page, improving collaboration and efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a bit of a learning curve to get used to the features. The training section can be tedious as it provides the same quiz every time a new document is updated. It is also too simple at times, it could use a bit of customization. We have noticed performance lags at times as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Arena PLM & QMS streamlines product lifecycle and quality management processes, making it easier to maintain compliance and improve efficiency, ultimately saving time.

What do you like best about the product?
thoroughly impressed with its overall design and functionality. The site is exceptionally well-organized, making it easy to navigate through various sections. The clean and modern aesthetic is visually appealing, contributing to a pleasant user experience. The color scheme and typography choices are excellent, providing a professional and inviting look.
What do you dislike about the product?
there are several areas where the user interface could be improved to enhance the overall user experience. For instance, the navigation menu, while functional, can feel a bit cluttered at times.

What do you like best about the product?
The change management and BOM management are great. Change management in Arena is straight forward with great functionality.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reports. There are many attributes that I would like to run reports against but they are not available in custom reports. Not all the out of the box reports that contain these attributes are not what I need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better integration between QMS and product

Arena: A Gauntlet But Works Well When Understood Fully

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of access and organization is the best thing Arena PLM & QMS has going for it. It is increidbly easy to access and use all of the numerous features it has to offer.
What do you dislike about the product?
Oftentimes, I wish the system would be able to identify items such as part numbers vs. requests vs. tickets easier. If I accidentally type an item number when I'm in the tab for requests, it shows no results. It would be nice if it had a "did you mean this item?" identifier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing paperwork and part numbers for a product production line. Keeping things in place and easily accessible to the rest of our team.

What do you like best about the product?
One of the most important aspects is the speed at which you obtain information and the ability to organize documents, greatly simplifying our work.
What do you dislike about the product?
One potential area for improvement is the interface, which could use a refresh. Overall, the app excels in delivering information quickly and offers robust document organization features, significantly easing our workload. While the current interface is functional, a more modern design could enhance the user experience even further.

Comprehensive UI

What do you like best about the product?
I love the general UI of Arena PLM. The use of dropdown menus and tabs allow for a comprehensive navigation and overall view of the workspace. The advanced search is greatly helpful and straighforward in creating filtered searches based on various attributes (including custom ones). The saved searches, bookmarks, and layouts further customizes my experience with the UI. My customer success coach has been integral to helping me maximize the system's features.
What do you dislike about the product?
I use Arena on a daily basis, so I've had a lot of time exploring than most people in our company. Although I enjoy Arena's UI, it did take some time familiarizing myself with the workspace and navigation, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes a very powerful tool. It would be nice to have additional workspace settings that can be customizable, as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has been our primary system for our QMS (Document Control, Change orders, and training.) Transitioning from a paper-based system to Arena has been wonderful and rewarding. Having our documents in one database, where we can access its history in one system has been great. Managing and resolving reviews, approvals, releases, and training in a cloud-based system allows our employees to access what they need immediately and on-the-go. Our QMS process become more efficient when we spend less time worrying over paper-documents that many may not have acccess to right away.

Most User Friendly PLM

What do you like best about the product?
I also liked the adaptability of the configuration, which allowed us to customize the system to meet our unique needs, it make its very easy to roll out any new implmentations. This flexibility was a key factor in our decision to purchase this software.

Integrations are easy from the Arenan side once you understand the export file data, numberous systems have been integrated. This sysem has been user friendly due to the web design, and also being a cloud site.

This is a daily use tool for our entire compnay, the front runner for mamanging all of our engineering data.

Our personal Success Coach is extremely helpful, flexable and responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of options for creating linkages that are more controlled and searchable for documents. Item to Item references is the only official option and is not as flexable as I would like.

Lack of viewablity for finding effected Items for Changes being processed, wouldlike to see a more itemmized list of effected documents and assemblies ratehr than just top levels.

Reports world is not always cabable of pulling the data I need, so more search fuunctions would be nice when trying to filter through reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Maintaining compliace to customer requirement ss for COnfiguration Managment, Change Control and documenta control. For QMS would be maintaining all history of part or supplier issues. Providing clear process and orgainization along with documentation.

Simple, straightforward PLM with Lifecycle documentation, revision control

What do you like best about the product?
Arena is pretty straightforward to use, There are more than adequate options for customizing what you need for PLM documentation and revision tracking. Lifecycle phases are also present to help differentiate between "In Design" or "In Production" phases. Adding part categories is also pretty simple. Integration was pretty simple - rolling from our previous PLM to Arena wasn't too bad a process.
What do you dislike about the product?
As modular as Arena is, at times it can be difficult to change some options that were previously setup. Some things would require an update to the PLM package itself by Arena as a rolled out update and it may be a hassle to have to wait for this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Part traceability and revision tracking - Arena does a pretty good job of handling our needs for these main things.
