ARENA FOR QMS AND PLM
What do you like best about the product?
- very good technical support
- easy to customise - build processes in each world on the platform
- Platform is divided in to various sub categories/worlds (requests, items, quality, training etc) for conevenience
- Analytics is very nice to develop dash board and proactively monitor progress.
- Good processes are shared by Arena for easy development and implementation of eQMS and PLM.
- validated , out of the box platform - helps to maintain complaince with notified bodies.

What do you dislike about the product?
- Documents (SOPS) and material (parts, BOM) are not serated, they are in same items world.

Great experience with Arena PLM
What do you like best about the product?
The ease and automation of the change order process.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. I have many enhancement requests that do not get implemented. It would be very helpful if Arena provided a quarterly report of my suggestions/feedback with an implementation date.
2. I am a heavy user of Arena and have been for years. I would like the administrator role to have more freedom in making updates when things are 'locked'. I shouldn't have to withdraw an ECO for a typo.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Arena is helping our company with having one source of truth.
Initial launch and transition from paper-based to eQMS
What do you like best about the product?
No longer require paper and wet signature.
What do you dislike about the product?
The system need to be set up correctly upfront, and the structure engineer from Arena need to actively involved to ensure proper transfer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Move away from paper based and improve traceability of documents and processes.

What do you like best about the product?
Arena PLM is simple to use, connects nicely with other systems, and allows for seamless team collaboration. The cloud-based platform ensures that we always have access to the most recent product information like ECN

Proper training needed for better utilisation
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps me to get drawings for all item# at anytime, helps to understand ECN and all relevant teams comments for better understanding

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of bulk changes. Flexibility of features. Good assignment visibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some bulk change options are not available via CSV (Phase Cycle Changes for example), some modifications have to be made all over again and cannot be modified (Sourcing relationships for example), and items in one change cannot be transferred to another change easily (Very tedious and manual process). Hard to integrate with some MRP systems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BOMs, sourcing, documents, and part number management. This makes it very easy to manage projects under a change-controlled environment.
New user to Arena - alot of potential that still needs to be explored
What do you like best about the product?
ECO implementation changing. Once ECO's are received, tracking the change and documenting changes. This is critical for the certifications we are required to maintain.

Downside is not so much Arena, but the other systems we use are not compatible for ECO changes to be automated

Tracking ECO Changes to ensure they have been not only completed but implemented in all of our systems
Excellent QMS system for associates all the way to senior directors
What do you like best about the product?
The software is extremely comprehensive. You can do everything from training to document change requests here. There is definitely utility in each function for everyone in the organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit of a learning curve. Coming from Qualio, some things are less intuitive like document change requests. For example, there's no ability for the user to return a change request to a draft if necessary. There's still a lot of manual work that needs to be executed by someone in document control.

Arena is very helpful in organizing protocols and reports for V&V.

Cost per user? To be most effective, all stakeholders require access occasionally, support a floating license?

Timely communication of product release with correct revision documentation available.

Revision control and easy to use and browse in the preparation of changes are very usefull. customer support provide really fast and accurate support on all of our issue we faced.
What do you dislike about the product?
really difficult to tell, some reports may need to be finetune and also need to mainly create some to help on the best accuracy to get data out from Arena

transfert all changes to our product lines BOM and document to release into production
A great tool to organize a team

A centralized resourse to reference policies and training documents.

Mild learning curve to become familiar with the program.

It makes for a one stop shop to direct my team to updates and training resources.
