Fast Document Generation, But Template Management Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
We like Conga CLM’s Template Versioning functionality where we are able to manage separate versions of the same template while also allowing us to choose which version we need to utilize during document generation. Document Generation process is also super fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
For Conga CLM, to manage templates we use X-Author for Contracts tool, which is very slow and makes the task of creating these templates very tedious and complex. Many formatting issues occur due to the X-Author not being able to handle formatting properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our document generation was very slow but now with the help of Conga CLM we are able to generate several documents within a very short period of time. Versioning feature of CLM helps us to maintain several versions of same template allowing us to select a specific version for specific scenario.
Conga CLM is an evolving product with its new amazing features.
What do you like best about the product?
Conga CLM keeps on evolving and provides us with new useful functionalities. One example is that it recently introduced the Obligation Management functionality, which we needed and were able to implement for our project. Conga CLM is a product that receives continuous updates, which is what makes this product great.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing as such, but they could have made the Conga documentation around new features and bug fixes better for the end users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is providing us with the features that we require, such as - send for Office 365 review, Document generation, Document redlining.
Easy Integration with Salesforce, but Needs More Reliable Support
What do you like best about the product?
Conga CLM helped us in Salesforce ecosystem to manage end user contract and agreements. Integrating conga is very easy and fast paced.
What do you dislike about the product?
In recent rimes we have seen couple of outages and resulted in business impact. Additionally conga support team need to be very pro active. They need to manage better customer support

Conga helped us in managing contracts and reduced the time taken by individual brokers to complete contracts

We manage to generate static documents with CLM

It seems to be a solution more designed for Legal than Professional Services

Complex Implementation, user interface isn't the most intuitive, only works well if you're already deeply using Salesforce, Price & Licensing Complexity, slow performance

N/A, we have conga contracts but excited for the possibility move to clm sooner rather than later
