Lots to Love
What do you like best about the product?
Canto is making a huge difference in how we manage our digital assets! Our images and completed videos are all in one place. It's so much easier to search for them now. We love the many ways to share our assets with our marketing partners, outside publications, and others.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has taken us longer than expected to transfer our assets and make sure that we have tagged everything the way we want it. It will be a while before we have everything thoroughly organized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before we had Canto, we kept our assets in folders on our servers. In the past, it was time-consuming and frustrating; we often didn't find what we needed. Having the ability to search by more than file name is very beneficial to our workflow. Moreover, we can share our assets in multiple ways - through branded portals, simple links to a selection of photos, etc. We love the ability to resize and crop the images before we download them

The implementation team was patient and friendly during our roll out.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform is great for what it's intended for, but there were other things we needed as well.

Not sure there is anything about Canto that we dislike so far.

We don't have assets stored all over the place anymore. When we want to find something, we know where to go.

Takes some time to learn how to use it, learning curve when first starting out.

We are able to easily share assets with other team members and easily organize assets in a visual way.

Canto is a great way to manage your visual assets. It organizes and displays with ease.

Searchability and good customer support.

It's takes a long time to tag large libraries and coming up with the best search terms and keywords.

I wish we had a little bit more direction on how to better use the platform and get updates.

What do you like best about the product?
Fairly easy for new users to jump in and get started and importing images from G Drive is a breeze. We appreciated that they provide a demo for us to try before we committed to anything. The onboarding has been extremely helpful and they continue to provide support to help us with anything that comes up. Video transcription is also very useful tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, it is hard to find anything negative at this point but if I had to say something, it would be the price point. There are additional add-ons that I feel should be included in the base price.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It saves us time because of the ease of use and that is worth its weight in gold! We love that we can easily sort images, and add tags, share, and transfer files which we do on a daily basis.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the customization of the custom fields and how user-friendly it is.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can't update a "live" document like a Google Drive Sheet for example.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our salespeople don't ask for help to find something, and it's easy for them to use. Everything is organized in a way that works best for our team.
Don't know what we'd do without it!
What do you like best about the product?
Very helpful software for our Interior Design firm! Everything in one place and easy to organize, especially with the auto-tagging feature! I don't know what we'd do without it!
What do you dislike about the product?
There is definitely a learning curve with using the albums - it can be a bit confusing when you're beginning. Providing some tutorials would be greatly appreciated for new employees learning this!

Canto has solved the problem of organizing all our company's digital assets in a visual and easy-to-find way. Our designers can find what they need right away - it has definitely helped our productivity!

Take the time to learn this program thoroughly - there's so much it offers!

What do you like best about the product?
The way it helps everyone find what they need in this time of working remotley. Plus the clients love it as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI could use a little work. Plus it doesn't feel as intuitive as it should.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped us pull footage and other assets without all the fuss of a " video server " It's been such a HUGE time save.
