Fast, Helpful Responses for Anything You Need

It helps u a lot with anything that u can think of, and I personally like that when u ask it something and it gives you a response fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no complaints about this site or Canto; everything has met my expectations so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has been helpful to me in many different ways, assisting with a variety of things I need.
User-Friendly with Excellent Support, But User Limits Can Be Restrictive
What do you like best about the product?
Canto is user friendly and they offer excellent support. Canto offers many features to help organize our companies digital assets.
What do you dislike about the product?
One drawback of Canto is that it operates as a pick-and-choose package, which comes with a restriction on the number of users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are currently using Canto to manage our digital assets for PDP, licensing, and brand purposes. It also allows us to store videos, providing a single source of truth for all our assets. This setup enables us to make updates in one central location, ensuring consistency across our materials.
Canto XI Makes Asset Management Easy, But Upload Permissions Could Improve
What do you like best about the product?
What I love about using Canto is the ability to easily configure your digital asset management library in the best way for your end users. Their recent release of Canto XI has made finding and downloading assets easier, and I'm excited to continue our implementation and roll out these features to our organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only limitation we've seen with Canto is the requirement of power user seats for uploads. They do have the upload link option for "guest" uploads, but it's not very scalable for managing large amounts of upload personas without Contributor licenses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have assets all over and with no organization -- no one knows how to find things. We know we're losing assets that could be good, and we have difficulties with "democratizing" access to our assets.
Canto: Practical, Functional, and Highly Recommended
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to set up Canto. We had no difficulty during this process, thanks to the tutorials and advice offered. The platform is very user-friendly and intuitive, which makes it easy to use. Additionally, the customization that allows us to create a branded cover with our brand adds a unique identity to our site, making our customers feel at home. The ability to control who has access and to send them a welcome email to register, as well as the ability to issue reports on the use and popularity of the assets, adds a level of control that I consider very important. The visual editorial design of the platform is very appealing and easy to navigate, allowing me to organize my categories effectively. I also like how it adapts to content creation needs, especially for social media, integrating well with other creative tools. Globally, Canto's ability to ensure practicality and functionality has quickly met our clients' needs, which for me makes Canto the best possible option.
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe that Canto completely meets our needs for sharing and reaching the client with the material. I find that the cost is not very accessible, especially in the context of Mexico. Although I highly recommend it, I think they should consider adjusting the prices to be more competitive in regions like Latam, which could also help expand their market and increase awareness of the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canto organizes and manages my assets, facilitating sharing with clients and improving their advertising.
User-Friendly Platform That Makes Asset Sharing a Breeze
What do you like best about the product?
I love how user friendly the platform is and how easy it is to organize and share all of our assets across our affiliates.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the least helpful feature is workspaces in the way our company utilizes Canto.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canto solves our assets management and organization issues. With over 60 brands to manage, Canto has allowed our company to easily distribute and centralize all marketing assets across our affiliates.
Effective Media Management, but Integration Hurdles
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the facial recognition and AI tools in Canto that help us find photos and videos fast and efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
A lot of the terminology is very confusing in Canto, with terms like portals, workspaces, albums versus folders being particularly tricky. It can be a little confusing. Also, setting up the organizational tools is challenging compared to actually using them. We've tried to integrate it with Adobe and faced many roadblocks with that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canto helps with photo organization and storage. I appreciate its facial recognition and AI tools for finding photos and videos fast and efficiently.
Highly Customizable DAM, But Search Could Be Smarter
What do you like best about the product?
Canto is a good highly customizable DAM that isn't locked into a larger suite. It was pretty easy to set up and get integrated into our processes. Many team members use it daily with most using it weekly or monthly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search feature works but could be more predictive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing long term asset archiving and associated meta data.
Flexible Content Management with a Learning Curve, But Worth the Effort
What do you like best about the product?
Canto has allowed my team to organize our content in a way that makes sense for us and our customers who have access to our Brand Portal. I enjoy the ability to tag, keyword, and cross assign assets to multiple folders where needed, instead of having to upload the same file several times in different folders.
What do you dislike about the product?
There can be a bit of a learning curve in terms of best-practices on how to best organize your content, but their webinars and new updates have made it more self-explanatory. It's not a one-size-fits-all, but if you put in the strategy and work to create a system that works best for you, it will be beneficial.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to create a Brand Portal for our customers to be able to access select content from us to utilize when they represent our company has been very helpful. Distributors can take our logos, colors, and brand imagery to represent our products in their stores so that they represent our brand how we would like them to.
Excellent DAM with Impressive AI, but New Look Takes Getting Used To
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite feature is AI, facial recognition mostly. Overall I find canto to be an excellent DAM system.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’m not used to the new look, I need to familiarize myself with it but I find myself using the older version still.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canto makes it simple for everyone in the institution to access photos and other documentation. I appreciate how straightforward it is to add data for each upload, as the platform allows for easy navigation, movement, and corrections when needed.
Solid Asset Management, Needs UX Improvements
What do you like best about the product?
I find Canto incredibly useful as a digital asset manager for our organization, as it helps with storing not just photos, but also documents, fonts, brand guidelines, and PDFs, which goes beyond mere photography. The ease of use is a major plus; despite some initial challenges with clunky UX, I figured it out pretty seamlessly after a few months. I particularly enjoy how it solves storage issues by consolidating documents and photos, making it easier to find images and documents quickly. Additionally, I appreciate its capacity for managing digital assets without worrying about internal storage since everything remains digital. I also find the overall user experience to be clear and clean-cut, as it addresses my needs efficiently without requiring me to research or consider other options.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the user experience somewhat clunky, especially when it comes to organizing files. Having to add everything to albums is confusing and I wish there was an option for just one broad category. The drag and drop feature is particularly frustrating as it often isn't visible and is difficult to use, making moving photos challenging. Additionally, performing tasks like sharing an album link can be cumbersome, requiring too many steps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use the product to solve storage issues, allowing easy and quick access to documents and images in one digital place, eliminating clutter and time searching for files.
