Jamf is the best MDM for any apple product.
What do you like best about the product?
Jamf is a community of Mac admins that support this amazing product to make any apple device deployable and easy to be manage.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the updates need to be tested before use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
this makes life easy for Mac admins and makes me look like a hero compare to the windows admins.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Jamf Pro with is inquire of NoMAD, will be a big product not only to education but for many business industry.

The ease of installing software makes my job so much easier

There is not too much that I dislike. The software makes mobile device app installations very easy

Great support and surrounding community of tech people willing ot help each other with common scripts/tasks

new releases and changes to Pro interface seem to not always be what the community wants to see

Patch management and the cost of effort keeping up with patch deployment

the only that we do nit like is the limits apple sets, not Jamf.

What do you like best about the product?
While the software it self is great, the community that Jamf has built up around their product is without equal. The scripts and other custom plugins that has come from the Jamf Nation is as great of a resource for making any deployment as stress free as possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have zero complaints about Jamf currently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With a deployment of around 6200 Apple devices, primarily in students' hands, we need to deploy a catalog of apps to every grade level and be able to seamlessly manage them in such a way that they would be an effective learning tool and not a toy.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are coming from a product like AirWatch or LanRev be prepared to shift your thinking a little bit on how you scope apps and config profiles.

Zero touch and management for macs and able to troubleshoot remotely

Search criteria, the criteria for smart groups dont work all the time

I absolutely love the simplification of DEP enrollment and the security it brings as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our cloud instance has had to grow with our organization for sure. We’ve had growing pains from so many devices and so many users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Inventory management was practically nonexistent in our environment before Jamf. With enrolling our devices, we have an accurate representation of our assets district-wide

I wish we had the ability to let Parents of students have some control outside of school hours

Easy setup and management of iOS devices

What do you like best about the product?
The minimal work that is required on my part as an admin to keep my machines working. With everything setup properly, it all just works.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can not say there are things that I dislike but there are a few limitations of the product, but most of them are due to limitations from apple.

We are zero touch deploying our Macs and making software deployment an easy to do step with self service.

Can't use it for manageing PCs. Joking aside there isn't much I don't like
