ICIMS Review at Canon
What do you like best about the product?
It was very user friendly and I could easily see where I needed to go for multiple purposes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hard to keep multiple tabs open. You would have to back out of one profile to get to another and it became monotonous when I used it in 2-011-2013.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Recruiting for Internship program.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get to know the reporting tools. Very helpful for analysis.

What do you like best about the product?
Very user friendly and can easily reach a support specialist when needed
What do you dislike about the product?
Too easy for applicants to create multiple profiles in the system which makes it hard to determine whether they've applied previously.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to keep better track of all our applicants. We found that we had not been doing a very good job previously.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Stay in contact with support people -- they are very helpful

What do you like best about the product?
From Hiring Manager perspective: The ease of looking at resumes and downloading one document that has all resumes combined. I also like the professional look at feel of the job posting and ease of sharing the job posting. I love the feature that emails all the applicants when a person has been hired and the job is filled.
From Applicant perspective: I like that you create an account and can apply for different jobs within the company, but your basic information is saved. I like the ease of uploading cover letter and resume.

What do you dislike about the product?
It's difficult to find where the additional documents are after the resume. I often have trouble finding cover letters.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sorting and managing the hiring process with many candidates. Notifying candidates that the position is filled is a huge time saver.
The iCIMs interface is very user friendly and the sport team is always available to help.

My favorite feature is how customizable each project is.

The mobile sight isn't an easy to navigate as the desktop site

I am able to keep all of our applicants in one place and store all of the necessary documents together.

I like the open platform and how the user is able to design it fit their needs it not a one size fits all
What do you dislike about the product?
it could flow better from one stage to another when you are viewing candidates. Don't like the limits on email templates and report searches

it give a real time tracking from start to end so we can build a better reporting information to the hiring manages

What do you like best about the product?
Customer Service and expertise of the iCIMS team. The platform is great but the customer service really sets them apart.
What do you dislike about the product?
I only wish the mobile hiring manager app was set up so that we could take action on candidates right from the app (ex. advance/reject, email, schedule interviews, etc.)

Flexible, customizable solution that can evolve as we grow.

What do you like best about the product?
The infinite possibility of customization thanks to login groups; bins; statuses; etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
The complexity of the back office (user admin access) when going into System configuration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It definitely helps centralize flows of candidates and steps of the process; as well as have a clear overview over candidates coming from multiple sources.

Friendly tech support team! Also, not to mention relationship manager was able to check-in with the clients once in awhile just to make sure you are all set to go!
What do you dislike about the product?
implementation process took awhile. The target day is approximately 2months... it took more than 3months.

N/A so far, so good. Having email such as Outlook automatically capture correspondence through iCIMS would be helpful.

Making reporting easier.
Does the job but could stand to improve the UI
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is extremely customizable. Its easy to add/modify/remove almost any aspect of the system.
What do you dislike about the product?
Extremely clunky. Difficult to navigate to anything without a dozen clicks. Even something as simple as filtering jobs can be a bit cumbersome. (The job list is made out of expandable tables which collapse every time you filter, forcing you to expand them once more) In general, compared to many other modern systems, the ui seems rather dated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The largest problem solved by this tool over our previous ATS was the online portal portion. Nothing to write home about but a necessary component for any modern ATS.
