Easy to use, great for security, whole team was on boarded quickly.

What do you like best about the product?
Made the documentation and audit process much easier than we ever expected! We could easily see what needed attention and get ready for our audit much faster than we expected. Feels like a set-it-and-update-as-needed tool which makes compliance easier to manage.
What do you dislike about the product?
As Vanta has grown over the past few years, they are now launching more add-on features for additional $$.
This feels like we're slowly getting less and less value for what is already an expensive tool. Our success check-ins feel more like a sales pitch than a useful meeting.
I enjoy Vanta but hope this doesn't continue to make the product more complex to navigate.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Preparing for and maintaining our compliance standards to meet SOC 1 and 2 requirements. We're able to keep up with any changes through regular Vanta notifications which makes the process much simpler to manage.

Their platform makes it easy to prepare for the audit and their customer success team is excellent

Nothing in particular. Perhaps some sort of progress bars or audit readiness tracker would be nice

Conducting our SOC2 Type 1 and Type 2 audit in the most effective manner possible

What do you like best about the product?
Automation of access controls. Vanta provides an excellent platform with integrations to the tools my team uses.
What do you dislike about the product?
Vanta's tests can be a bit mysterious sometimes, and their agent for employee workstations can be demanding.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta makes it very easy to bootstrap and execute a compliance program without hiring additional staff.
Simplifies and tracks compliance issues for SOC2 and other certifications

Easy web portal and responsive representatives who can walk you through what you need to do.
What do you dislike about the product?
The sales process where you need to sign up to talk to a sales rep is not the greatest. It should be more self-service and the pricing (including startup discounts) should be clear.

Vanta has been an essential and effective aide on our SOC 2 journey

Employee onboarding. The Vanta agent on employee-managed machines.

Reconciling the false-positives in Vulnerability Management.

Record-keeping and day-to-day compliance management --doing the basic things right and being able to prove it, freeing up time to work on the larger, less automat-able aspects of our SOC 2 journey

Vanta covered 98% of the controls and evidence we needed for our SOC2, setting up a seamless audit
What do you dislike about the product?
Dashboards can be overwhelming (though Vanta's team has steadily improved them to make sure critical information is delivered).

We used Vanta to complete our SOC2 and ensure ongoing compliance

Dashboard View quick rollup. Policy Templates were a good start.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some controls that apply to individuals that aren't mapped to their profile/onboarding...e.g. MFA on accounts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SOC 2 certification, much easier to track in a tool than manually
showing 971 - 980
