Greatly simplified the compliance process!
What do you like best about the product?
The integrations were a life saver when it came to compliance. Just being able to connect services and have them automate the items was priceless, huge time saver!
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately the support I received was a little lacking... I tried a couple times to get help only to have a week go by without a response. They may have bene on vacation or something but still, it was a long time. I had solved pretty much all the issues on my own before hearing back.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The whole compliance issue was such a foreign concept, didn't have any idea where to even start. The checklist format with items to be completed was invaluable. I was able to just click right through everything and get it done at my own pace.

The Vanta platform has been a massive help in tracking, planning, and implementing our security certification. Offers an easy-to-use repository to track documents and tests required to attain and keep your business certified. Along with this, the support has been great in identifying and resolving issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some integrations have had connection issues that can only be resolved with a manual reconnection. Along with this, some particularly useful features are further locked behind licensing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta helps to provide a central repository for policies and evidence for passing various compliance tests. It allows for automated reminders to ensure your company stays certified and meets the requirements set by the policy defined.
I'm much more confident in the security of our data and the integrity of our systems thanks to Vanta

What do you dislike about the product?
The price point for Vanta can be rather high for a company our size. One thing we would like is to pay depending on how many people actively use Vanta or are onboarded.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta helps us monitor our systems, manage policies, monitor computers and overall ensure we have a compliant ISMS. The main benefit is that we are able to maintain all this with little to know previous experience is managing a company's ISMS.
After a few months of learning, very useful and as a system administrator I can easily contact users

Too much information. I see in the computers or users lists issues that I already unmonitored.

After getting everything in place in Vanta, the actual audit process was simple and straightforward.

Not that anything I can think of. Highly recommended!

Vanta simplifies the process of ISO 27001 certification. Going through the actual audit is pretty straightforward once you have everything in place in Vanta.

It gives you a percentage of controls you cover and hints on how to achieve 100% compliance. Everything is centralized in one place.
Without Vanta we never would have been able to consider ISO 27001

There is no easy way to update the company name or Logo in your policies once they have been created.

There is no way our company would have been able to tackle Security Compliance without software like Vanta.

Vanta also helps with templates and has policies available that you just need to adjust.

A Platform cannot replace the experiences of an Expert, but our CSM was always very helpful and introduced us to the relevant people.

Intuitive, Comprehensive, and Integrated
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta provides walkthroughs of all the significant steps to get your organization into the desired INFOSEC posture. Our firm uses Vanta for SOC2 compliance readiness, and the step-by-step instructions, assessments, and integrated monitoring have drastically simplified the process.
What do you dislike about the product?
User administration isn't intuitive, even though it's linked through your identity provider. My issues with fully understanding the differences in security roles may be a function of the total time spent digging into the topic, but Vanta doesn't provide the same level of step-by-step instruction/help that you get with other components in the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed SOC compliance to help us sell our SaaS product offering, and Vanta helped us achieve that target. New sales (particularly to enterprise clients) would be nearly impossible without it.
