What do you like best about the product?
I like Vanta because it offers a simple and straightforward process with clear communication and timelines. This helps me to spend as little time as possible thinking about how we are going to go about doing SOC 2 compliance. The initial setup was very easy, which is a big plus.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how Vanta provides monitoring and alerting for controls and tests, which gives a really clear view into required actions. It also helps us ensure we are performing required reviews, users complete training, documents are updated, and other tasks are done on the right schedule. Additionally, I appreciate its integration with our other tools like Azure and Checkr, making the whole process smoother. The initial setup was easy, too.
What do you dislike about the product?
We had a challenge during an audit where 3 different audits were created in Vanta. I couldn't tell which one was live and we were receiving requests from the auditor in 2 of them. Preventing that would be good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Vanta to manage SOC2 compliance, keeping track of procedures, deadlines, reviews, and documents. The monitoring and alerting features provide a clear view of required actions and their due dates, ensuring compliance.

What do you like best about the product?
I find Vanta to be a very helpful tool that automates a very detailed process. It connects to our system to highlight gaps immediately, allowing us to track and improve our compliance and security posture. Centralized Compliance Solution with Some Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate that Vanta acts as a one-stop location for our trust center, process tasks, to-do list, systems, users, and training—all being centralized in one place is a life saver for managing ISO and soon SOC2. The ability to centralize documentation, tests, evidence, and templates needed for the ISO process while directly connecting most of our systems to the platform is incredibly helpful. The integration with a lot of other tools is also a major advantage, as it brings core processes together into a single system, saving us a lot of time and making various tasks visible that would otherwise demand significant resources for reporting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their document editing/view/exporting system is kind of terrible. The docs lose all structure when exported and sometimes you just need to get a list in a spreadsheet to do rapid edits. Their table feature in doc is missing simple things like insert X rows, instead it's row by row. The AI is sometimes kind of dumb although it's getting better. Their in house training courses are a bit old and they could do with adding more / updating. The filtering on table views in various places is also hot garbage. Columns you would need to sort and filter are fixed. Honestly it's just bizarre. Going through the ISO docs cold with no training was very confusing and not trivial, we didn't have any experience of the standard. Training would have been helpful.

I like Vanta's ease of use and the ever-growing features it offers. true innovation is happening, and the AI functionality is a game-changer for me. It significantly reduces manual efforts by nearly 60% for control optimization, audit preparedness, and document reviews. Additionally, there's always something new being added that I was hoping would become a feature. The setup was quite easy for our small team, and it's been our first choice for a startup. I've used several GRC platforms in the past, but I would pick Vanta.

There are still some vendors we use that don't have direct integrations with Vanta, but it is getting better.

Streamlines SOC 2 Compliance but Needs UI Enhancements
What do you like best about the product?
I use Vanta for SOC 2 compliance and it maintains all the documentation required for SOC 2 audits, like vendor reviews, in a neat and tidy process. I like the risk management features as well. Vanta's ease of use is something I really appreciate, with everything collected in one place, making audits so much simpler and quicker. Having the ability to flag failing tests throughout the year is also a huge help, as it saves us a lot of work correcting issues later.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a little bit hard to find the features. I feel like maybe the top-level naming could be clearer. Some of the drop-downs and things don't have tooltips that would make them a lot easier to navigate. For example, when you're doing a review of a vendor, there's something called a security owner and a business owner. I actually don't know what those mean, so I just kind of guessed. Adding more tooltips with explanations like, 'hey, this is required' or 'why this is required' would be very helpful. Trying to find things in documentation or trying to figure it out with an AI is kind of painful, and I would prefer not to have to do that.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Vanta for SOC two compliance and it helps us organize all of our assets to ensure compliance. I really appreciate its user interface, which is a lot better than the previous thing we used. It's organized a lot clearer than competitors, helping us navigate and disable unrelated tests and assets more easily. Also, setting it up was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
When you click open in new tab, it goes to that tab. That is very annoying. Please remove that.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Vanta for compliance, asset and vendor tracking, and access tracking. It's very helpful when it comes to audits. I know the Infosec team loves using it. I really like that I can see all the different vendors we use at the company, who the vendor owners are, and the ability to audit access in case we have ex-employees still having access. The whole UI and navigating Vanta is super easy. The initial setup of Vanta was very easy. I also like that we use it alongside Okta, as our SSO, and Vanta pulls information from Okta.
What do you dislike about the product?

I use Vanta for compliance, asset and vendor tracking, and access tracking. It's the single source of truth for user access and audit management, crucial for audits. I love that I can see all vendors and audit access easily, and the navigation is super easy.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Vanta for its ease of use and the fact that it's very intuitive, even for beginners in compliance tooling. The trust center is easy to manage and presents a clean, professional image, important during our sales cycle. I find significant time savings with the automation of security questionnaires, which drastically speeds up the sales cycle process. The employee onboarding is much simpler and integrates well with our major systems, allowing us to see their controls and vulnerabilities in one place. The AI-based population of security questionnaires based on our policies and controls is a huge time saver. Working with the Vanta team has been an absolute joy, their customer success manager helped us get up and running smoothly, and I find the platform's consistent release of new features impressive.

I have nothing bad to say about Vanta. Their technology and people have been nothing short of a blessing to our company.

It provides visibility into our security controls, speeds up security questionnaire responses, and eases employee onboarding for security training and policy attestation. It's a real time-saver.
