Efficient in ISO 27001 Automation, User-Friendly Interface
What do you like best about the product?
I like the number of integrations and how they cover the different controls of the ISO 27001 framework. It makes everything very simple. Also, the interface is very user-friendly and the artificial intelligence agent it has is very useful for answering questions related to the framework and the application.
What do you dislike about the product?
Yes, the part of policy management currently in the formula that we configured is by uploading the policy to the application, but we thought that having a system with established policies, we could add them there, that it would handle the versioning part, but it's not like that, we have to download the policy, update the version manually, upload it, and once there, approve it again. So the in-band approval process is a second step that doesn't end up being very useful, it's doing the work twice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Vanta to automate the collection of evidence in the ISO 27001 program. It also centralizes many tasks, which is good for managing our workload.
Effective Compliance Solution with Excellent Support
What do you like best about the product?
I found Vanta to be the best tool after comparing it with others, particularly because of its excellent support for compliance issues. The setup process was relatively simple, and the support was helpful when difficulties did arise. I especially appreciate the predefined controls and templates that helped us manage the SOC 2 compliance process without prior knowledge, without having to start from scratch with expensive consultants. The Control Center and the Trust Center are very practical, as they allow us to grant external access to the necessary documents and make specific information accessible to our customers. The integration with our existing software like Atlassian, Microsoft, and Google works seamlessly. These features make Vanta extremely useful and are decisive for me to purchase the tool again and recommend it without reservation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I have to click on individual employees often, which is quite cumbersome. A function to confirm all at once would be much better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Vanta, we were able to understand and tackle SOC 2 compliance processes without needing to start from scratch or hire expensive consultants. The predefined controls and templates guide us through the process, saving time and effort.
Amazing compliance management platform; Pricey but worth it
What do you like best about the product?
The amazing efficiency of running our SOC2 and ISO 27K programs in the platform compared to the stone-age spreadsheet method used at my last org.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price of new features can be pretty steep.

Perfect Compliance Tool for Small Teams, But May Not Scale for Complex Org Structures
What do you like best about the product?
In my experience, this tool greatly streamlines the process of tracking and managing compliance. It also makes it much easier to provide auditors with the necessary evidence for various controls. This is especially valuable for smaller organisations like mine, where we often lack the manpower to continuously oversee policies, controls, and evidence.
What do you dislike about the product?
While this solution works well for smaller companies, I have found that it may not always address the specific requirements that larger organisations have in their audit processes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta plays a central role in our compliance process. We rely on it to monitor our compliance status, manage risks, conduct security assessments, oversee vulnerability management, handle MDM, and address many other needs.

What do you like best about the product?
The connections between SOC controls, tests and policies make it easy to assess progress at-a-glance. The ability for our vCISO and SOC auditor to interact directly with our information via the application makes audits seamless.

A a small company we don't have many integrated apps so we end up doing a lot of work manually.

What do you like best about the product?
I truly value Vanta's effectiveness in keeping us up to date with compliance, controls, policies, and procedures, which is critical for our security needs. I appreciate how it seamlessly integrates with HITRUST, helping us manage our certification requirements efficiently, which is crucial as we need to undergo an annual review and a full certification every other year. The policy and procedure notifications are extremely helpful in ensuring our annual review and ratification processes are smooth. I also love that Vanta offers this comprehensive ecosystem where everything is kept in one place, and it makes it easy to notify the necessary users about updates. Moreover, I am impressed by the compliance portal that allows our customers to access all of our attestations and certifications directly, eliminating the need to send them ZIP files, thus streamlining and professionalizing our interactions with potential customers. With integration capabilities with software like Microsoft Entra, OneDrive, and CrowdStrike, among others, it fits perfectly into our existing infrastructure, offering us a cohesive workflow. I found the setup to be straightforward, largely due to Vanta’s user-friendly approach that guides us through the process effectively. Overall, my six-month experience using Vanta has been nothing short of satisfying, fulfilling all our needs for a GRC tool, and I am very happy with our decision to utilize their services.

The setup process, while not difficult, was notably time-intensive due to the number of uploads, edits, and assignments required. Although the setup is facilitated with a step-by-step guide, a more detailed walkthrough could have made it even more efficient.

What do you like best about the product?
Vanta has greatly streamlined our compliance journey. I love seeing our framework completion percentage increase with every change we make. Their recommended fixes for the tests we’re working on help us quickly assess the level of effort required for each task.

What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, there’s very little to dislike about Vanta. If I had to pick something, I’d say the built-in annual security training could be a bit more professional in presentation. We opted not to use it internally, but that’s a minor detail compared to the overall value the platform provides.

We initially saw compliance as a huge hurdle, but Vanta made it approachable, digestible, and even rewarding to complete. The platform breaks down complex requirements into clear, actionable steps, which has kept our team motivated and confident throughout the process.

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate managing automated evidence collection through Vanta. The integrations module is great for tracking most of the applications that clients use. It helps in tracking open vulnerabilities and fixing any gaps by enforcing measures like MFA. I find it valuable that Vanta syncs with apps in real-time. The initial setup of Vanta was easy, which was a nice plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Vanta could use a more robust module for vendor risk management. I'd like to see more in-depth vendor risk assessments and dashboards.

Vanta automates evidence collection, monitors devices, and integrates in real time to manage compliance, track vulnerabilities, enforce mFA, and conduct vendor reviews. It simplifies our processes with easy filters and handles background checks and security trainings efficiently.

The AI automations are so helpful and really reduce manual work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Theres a couple features and tweaks that would be nice to have - nothing super major. Can't remember them right now but I have submitted them to my rep, Sahil.

Vanta helps us to monitor our compliance progress with multiple cybersecurity frameworks. It has many automated features that help reduce manual work.
