Seamless Audit Management and Integration Champion
What do you like best about the product?
I use Vanta for framework and audit management, access management, vendor management, and risk management. I find it really underpins everything for us. It centralizes compliance and helps us be continuously audit-ready, which is amazing for audit management. Working with auditors familiar with Vanta makes it so much easier. It has reduced the need for additional evidence during audits, which is helpful since the Infosec team is primarily just myself. The Slack integrations are fantastic; it makes it easier for employees to submit access requests through Slack rather than completing bulky Jira forms. The Trust Centre is another feature I love because it reduces the amount of security questions I have to answer, allowing me to direct people there instead. Access management is great as well, as I can integrate multiple systems and ensure we don't miss any access issues. The detailed test framework is incredibly useful for audits, ensuring we submit comprehensive evidence without needing to input a ton more during audits.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great if custom fields could be available in access requests - I just want to have a field that allows people to select the environment for some tools they request access for. Mostly it is fine as they just use the standard field, but it would be a great addition for us. It would also be good if some of the integrations for third parties were more detailed than just access management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Vanta for compliance centralization, continuous audit readiness, vendor oversight, and streamlining onboarding. The Trust Center simplifies security queries. Access management integration prevents unauthorized entries, and Slack integrations ease access requests, reducing auditor workloads.

What do you like best about the product?
fits the entire compliance journey and provides fast product and feature releases. Listens to customer feedback. AI model is great for multiple languages. Integretions to most common platforms which are being improved on regular basis. UI is good an intutive - missing a dark mode and more addaption to company branding. Other than that the platform is performing as expected.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of more control in terms of branding towards cooperate identity. Dark theme in the UI.

Best-in-Class UI/UX, Comprehensive Controls, and Top-Tier Integrations
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta has the best UI/UX in the industry, along with one of the most comprehensive sets of controls (or “tests”) that are mapped correctly to the relevant frameworks. In my experience (we’re a service provider), other GRC tools often add too many unnecessary controls that don’t actually map cleanly to SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR, etc. That ends up wasting time for the company using the tool, especially when they’re trying to get compliant with the specific framework they’re targeting.
Vanta also has the best integrations in the industry. They’re custom-built, as opposed to most of the other major GRC tools that decided to use Leen (a great company, but a very different experience). Their pricing is on par with the value they deliver.

What do you dislike about the product?
The company removed partners’ ability to get accurate quotes directly from the site and now requires us to go through a person to figure out what to quote customers. This has added significant time (usually waiting time) to our proposal process. Other than that, there isn’t anything else I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta has a solid multi-tenant view that lets us manage multiple companies at once, and it’s been pretty seamless. In our experience, out of all the GRC tools we’ve worked with (over 10), Vanta has consistently been far above the competition when it comes to supporting our customers’ compliance needs. It also provides a better day-to-day experience for our team handling the actual work: evidence collection, policy writing, auditor back-and-forth, and control remediation.
Easy-to-Use Audits in One Place with Solid Integrations
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta is really easy to use and integrates well with the tools we already have. The best part is that we don't need to go back and forth with auditors using giant spreadsheets anymore. Everything is in one place. Uploading evidence is simple and saves us a lot of time during audits.
Performance has been solid for us. Our workload isn't huge so we haven't really pushed it to the limits, but we have no complaints there. Support and onboarding were great too, the app is pretty intuitive so we didn't need much hand-holding to get started.
On pricing, it's a bit on the higher side, especially if you're a startup going through your first audit. That said, the ROI is definitely there once you see how much time and effort it saves you.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some user flows are hidden deep inside specific pages and not easy to find from the main menu. I get that they want to keep the menu clean, but it takes too many clicks to go from a failing test all the way to, say, removing a computer from an employee that left the company. And if you go directly to the computers page, it's not obvious that there's an unassigned computer sitting there. A bit more visibility on those things would help a lot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're a small company without a dedicated security team, and we needed to get SOC 2 compliant. That's where Vanta really helps. Normal engineers and operations people who don't have deep expertise in security controls can use Vanta and trust it to guide them through the whole audit process. It makes something that feels overwhelming actually manageable for a small team like ours.

What do you like best about the product?
It seems like you manage the security of work computers well. The 'device monitor' feature is particularly impressive. Through this feature, you can monitor the usage of work computers and ensure that non-employees cannot use them.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's inconvenient that changing the computer name requires reinstalling everything from scratch. It seems like it could be done through the computer's internal IME or something... Also, ScreenLock wasn't set automatically, so I was asked to install it manually, which was cumbersome. Additionally, it was a bit difficult to configure... I'm not a developer, but I had to work in CLI mode to solve the problem.

Resolve the company's SoC2 compliance issues, enhance the security of work computers with a device monitor, and prevent non-employees from using them.

What do you like best about the product?
Vanta is a very comprehensive and intuitive platform that guides you through the compliance processes. Having everything in one place is highly advantageous and efficient for our organization. The policy templates are a huge time saver.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no complaints about this software.

We are pursuing compliance and auditing of specific security frameworks applicable to our industry, and Vanta makes this very simple. The amount of time saved makes the software practically pay for itself.

What do you like best about the product?
Vanta’s support and responsiveness are outstanding. Every interaction with their team has been professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. As we work through complex compliance requirements, their team consistently provides clear guidance and quick resolutions. It’s rare to work with a vendor that is this responsive and easy to partner with, and it has made a real difference for our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this point we haven’t encountered any major issues. If anything, some areas of the platform have a lot of functionality, which can take a little time to fully understand when you’re first navigating the system. However, the support team has been extremely responsive and helpful whenever we’ve had questions, which makes the learning curve much easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta helped us quickly resolve access and configuration issues within our instance, specifically enabling us to properly add our auditors. Their support team responded quickly, understood exactly what we needed, and helped ensure the setup was done correctly so our compliance and audit work could continue without delays. This kind of responsiveness is extremely valuable when working against audit timelines.

I really like the ease of use and navigation in Vanta. The tests feature is something I use the most as it helps us stay compliant. The initial setup of Vanta was very easy.

Comprehensive Compliance Made Effortless with Vanta
What do you like best about the product?
I use Vanta to handle all my client's accounts regarding compliance with many frameworks. It solves the compliance hustle by having all the evidence needed for auditors on just one platform. I love that everything is in one place, including evidence, system configurations, users, and assets. Vanta can map the existing evidence gathering to other frameworks, which is amazing. It also manages document cadence, reducing the work needed to obtain compliance for clients who need to meet several frameworks like ISO, SOC, and PCI. Many of my clients have switched from Drata to Vanta, and they are loving it. Since they had some expertise in Drata, using Vanta was a lot easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few improvements that can be made, one of which is having the ability to make it Dark mode for those of us who can't stand too much brightness!

I use Vanta to manage compliance with various frameworks easily. It solves the compliance hustle by consolidating evidence for auditors in one platform. It organizes evidence, systems, and assets, and maps evidence to other frameworks, reducing workload and handling document cadence efficiently.
