Effortless Compliance Tracking and Clear Guidance with Vanta
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how easy Vanta is to use and how clearly it shows our progress in the compliance process. It makes it simple to identify which areas need improvement and lets me see precisely what needs to be addressed. The setup was uncomplicated, and connecting our services was a smooth process.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be frustrating that certain features are only available with a more expensive subscription.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta has helped our very small team stay on top of compliance all year by highlighting what we need to focus on ahead of time. This makes it much easier for us to manage our responsibilities and remain compliant.
An excellent tool for security
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, provides tons of articles and support information on how to optimize for SOC2, integrates all our applications and streamlines complex workflows around security.
What do you dislike about the product?
Expensive, many features that aren't used still show up (can't remove unused functionality to simplify)

Some integrations need fine-tuning, and reporting options could be more customizable. API integrations could be more reliable.

It centralizes and automates our compliance efforts, reducing manual evidence collection and audit prep time. Continuous monitoring also improves visibility into security gaps and helps maintain readiness year-round.
Effortless Compliance with Great Support, But Task Unfolding Can Be Surprising
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy how easy and clear Vanta makes everything, its straightforward to know what the next thing you need to do is. Just about everything is easy to integrate and implement and the customer support is ready to help you if you need it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I found a bit bothersome at times; but also I fully understand the reason behind it; was that completing some tasks added more tasks. I understand not wanting to show me that I have 500 things to do at the start. But I don't know if there is some way to convey that by completing task x you will add 5 more tasks without also giving me more anxiety about getting all the tasks complete simulataneously.

Becoming SOC2 compliant in a straightforward way.

What do you like best about the product?
The process is straightforward and easy to understand. I appreciate having clear instructions on how each task should be completed, which makes everything much simpler.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would appreciate having more links that direct you to the specific sections that still need to be completed. It would also be helpful to see some examples, if possible.

What do you like best about the product?
Vanta’s automated workflows have cut our security onboarding time in half. It ensures we are following the security protocol we are required to have and gives peace of mind that we are in compliance.

The price of the program is on the higher end.

Streamlined Compliance, But Pricey for Startups
What do you like best about the product?
I use Vanta to automate and streamline our security compliance processes for SOC 2 certification. It eliminates the manual and time-consuming process of gathering evidence for compliance audits by automatically pulling evidence from our integrated tools, which saves us significant time and reduces human error. I love Vanta's extensive integration ecosystem, as it connects seamlessly with tools like AWS, GitHub, Google Workspace, and many others, making evidence collection almost effortless. The dashboard is very intuitive, allowing me to quickly see our compliance status and identify what needs attention. I also appreciate the automated employee onboarding for security training. Vanta's onboarding documentation and guided setup wizards were really helpful, and their support team was very responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing can be steep for smaller companies or startups, which might make it less accessible for teams just starting their compliance journey. Also, the initial setup and configuration of integrations can take some time, especially if you have a complex tech stack. Some of the reporting features could be more customizable — for instance, generating tailored reports for different stakeholders would be helpful.

Effortless Compliance Tracking, But Needs Better Screenshot Handling
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how Vanta keeps track of the thousands of tasks that need to be completed in order to stay compliant with various standards. I really like how it integrates with lots of our software too (Google, MDM, etc) in order to pull in information automatically for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that Vanta when trying to add screenshots to multiple tasks, it only added the first screenshot and did not let me know that it did not add the second screenshot. I figured that out later myself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta is helping us by breaking down all the controls we need for various compliance standards.
User-Friendly Compliance Dashboard, But Integration Issues Require Manual Fixes
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use dashboard for managing all aspects of compliance. Easy engagement with Auditors. Integration library is extensive and covers major vendors that we utilize.

Some integrations do not function properly and results in false positives. Requires manual intervention to override.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our organization is updating its policies to be inline with best practices within the industry. This includes obtaining SOC 2 and ISO compliance among others. There is a substantial challenge to obtain certification without a tool like Vanta.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, time it takes to complete SOC2, ongoing monitoring, partnerships with CPA's, overall cost.
What do you dislike about the product?
Troubleshooting integration issues can be cumbersome. Most times it has all to do with changes on the Vanta side that impact the integration. We usually do not find out that there is or may be a problem until after Vanta makes a change.
