Best GRC Platform on the Market
What do you like best about the product?
The UI is super intuitive and easy to use. Also, the platform is very responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Vanta ties the total number of automated tests to the package customers purchase. The cheapest SOC 2 package, in my opinion, should be a little more robust with the automated infrastructure tests.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta is consolidating security compliance across a variety of categories, including cloud security posture management, vendor management, risk management, document & policy management, employee compliance, as well as mapping all of these requirements to the relevant audit framework.

Vanta provides compliance framework templates and automates control testing, saving teams tremendous time and effort.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lacks flexible filtering options for Office 365 user groups and Git project repositories within the integration. For example, allowing user to select a specific office 365 group or groups for users sync.

Vanta enables startups and small enterprises to fast-track compliance with standards like SOC 2 and ISO 27001—without the need for a large compliance team.

It is another tool to learn however well worth it, as its ended up saving us lots of time

What do you like best about the product?
The automated evidence collection and integrations saved us hours of manual work. Vanta's intuitive dashboard made it easy to track progress and identify gaps in real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's tough to find where exactly everything lives. The menu on the left-hand side continues to grow every day. They need to find a way to not have 30+ options on the main menu. Easier "how to remediate" for some controls / tests
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta gives me clear guidance on what needs to be checked and when. Instead of guessing or chasing scattered tasks, I get a structured view of what’s required for compliance. It keeps us organized and focused, which saves a lot of time and reduces the stress of preparing for audits.

Vanta stands out most for automating security and compliance tasks—especially when it comes to frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and GDPR. It simplifies audit prep by collecting evidence automatically, assigning tasks, and tracking progress—saving massive amounts of time during a SOC 2 or ISO 27001 audit.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can’t always tailor the controls or monitoring checks to your specific business needs or infrastructure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collecting audit evidence, tracking policies, and staying compliant used to be a manual slog involving spreadsheets, screenshots, and lots of back-and-forth with auditors.
Vanta has made the SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance process as easy as possible.
What do you like best about the product?
Our auditors can easily use Vanta to retrieve the required evidence, and it speeds up our audit process. Our internal compliance team is blown away at how quickly we are able to complete our audits compared to other products. We like that we can easily track when something is due and monitor our third-party services when something is out of compliance. It is easy to integrate into all of the services we use. We use the product daily and love the daily and weekly emails that keep us informed on any tasks that require actioning.
What do you dislike about the product?
We don't have any negatives about Vanta.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has allowed us to achieve and maintain SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 27001:2022 certifications. It helps keep our business secure.
