Vanta makes SOC audits simple
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Vanta guides you on how to remediate necessary gaps. It's also a very easy to use tool that stays on top of tasks that need to be completed. It makes for a smooth and easy process.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I remove a user, I am not always certain that my reason for removing them will be acceptable. It would be nice if I were given a warning or set of circumstance to consider to determine whether I am making the right (and compliant) decision.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping us complete our SOC audit, and it's been particularly helpful to my peers who are foreign to the process.

What do you like best about the product?
What’s most helpful about Vanta is the seamless integration it has with the CSPs and all of our security solutions. That goes a long way into automating evidence collection and test completion.
What do you dislike about the product?
A little bit of the downside is with the exporting options. Being able to export reports to better analyze in detail.

We use Vanta both to centrally manage policies — including tracking who has reviewed and accepted them — and to run automated tests across our infrastructure through integrations with the core services we use. This ensures continuous alignment with industry frameworks such as GDPR and ISO 27001, streamlining audit readiness and confirming that our controls remain consistently enforced and up to date.

Very efficient tool for managing compliance
What do you like best about the product?
It’s very easy to use, and it guides you through the steps in a natural way. The best part is the automations and integrations, because they save a lot of time and make the whole compliance process much more efficient. The AI reviews are useful, and the number of frameworks available is very good.
What do you dislike about the product?
I work with a not-so-common framework, and it isn’t updated on time or maintained consistently. It’s frustrating having to add controls manually. Support could also be better, and I think they should add more capabilities to the lower tiers so they can stay competitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We handle multiple compliance frameworks, manage vendors, and respond to potential customers’ infosec requests. We use Trust centers and keep evidence records, with integrations that pull information from both people and systems.
Best tool out there for SOC 2 Compliance
What do you like best about the product?
When it comes to automating and simplifying the security compliance process, Vanta is immensely beneficial. The way it breaks down complicated frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA into simple chores is what I enjoy best about it. Time is greatly reduced by the integrations with AWS, GitHub, and Google Workspace, and real-time security posture visibility is provided by the ongoing monitoring. Startups and expanding businesses that need to swiftly scale compliance without starting from scratch with an internal team will find it very helpful. The Vanta team provides prompt, informed support, and the UI is easy to use.

It would take a lot of internal resources, in-depth knowledge, and back-and-forth with auditors to obtain certifications like SOC 2 or ISO 27001 without Vanta. Time is saved, human error is decreased, and nothing is overlooked thanks to Vanta's automation of evidence collecting, constant system monitoring, and clear direction. I see this as a way to increase consumer trust, strengthen security procedures, and expedite audits without the need for a specialized compliance team. It transforms a difficult procedure into one that is scalable and manageable.
