What do you like best about the product?
Vanta makes checking rules and risks very simple. It shows me where the weak spots are and gives steps to fix them. It feels like having a helper that keeps me on track every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
Fewtimes the reminders pop up too often and it can feel a little busy. I wish it gave me more control to set when I want updates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta helps me stay sure that we are following the right rules and not missing anything important. It makes it easy to track risks and prove we are safe to others. This saves stress and gives me peace of mind that our work is done the right way.

I really enjoy using Vanta because it makes reviewing client security questionnaires so much easier. The AI provides suggested answers based on previously completed questionnaires, which is not only faster and more efficient, but also makes it much easier for new team members to get involved in the process.
Another feature I value a lot is the ability to assign tasks, approve, and comment directly within Vanta. This helps keep everything in one place and avoids the risk of information getting lost. Overall, it has streamlined our workflow and improved collaboration across the team.

I really enjoy using Vanta because it makes reviewing client security questionnaires so much easier. As a new member of the team, this has been especially helpful, since it not only speeds things up but also makes it easier for me to get involved and contribute right away.
The Vanta UI is spectacular and very comfortable for me, as an auditor as well as for the clients.

It is very structured yet elaborate and easy to use. It makes things organized and easy to work. It is phenomenally integrated with A-SCEND. The customer support is quick, and things are easy to implement. I prefer using it frequently.

It's auto download feature for evidence.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Vanta’s streamlined integration process, making it easy to incorporate tools like AWS and GitHub quickly. I value how Vanta has helped enhance our SOC 2 compliance roadmap and effectively manage projects without needing a program manager. Its project management tool is crucial for team alignment and accountability. Additionally, I find Vanta's ability to aid non-security experts, including myself, in quickly understanding compliance requirements and auditing processes remarkably beneficial. The platform’s display of control assignments and audit progress keeps us aligned and updates our control management proactively.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the UI could be cleaned up a little bit. There's the audit report, and there's controls. There's a lot of different similar screens that have a lot of intersections between the two. It would have been nice if those places were a little more seamless. Like, I find myself having to go back and forth between controls, evidence, tests, and the actual audit report. You have to constantly cycle through these and remember exactly where is what. It'd be more intuitive for me if these were all flows that kind of navigated into each other. So for instance, the tests themselves, it's not really clear. It doesn't show, at least in the table, like, what controls they map to. I have to remember how to actually access the audit report every time, and that's annoying. Everything seems piecemeal. It'd be nice if everything just linked to each other, especially even our evidence completion. Evidence is quite arbitrary. It would be nice if our tests and evidence directly correlated to which controls they map to.

Vanta helps us proactively manage SOC 2 compliance and streamlines project management, keeping everyone aligned and accountable. It facilitates ownership of compliance controls, enabling non-experts to rapidly learn and support security requirements effectively.

Vanta watches our systems all the time and shows if something is unsafe. It makes checking security rules faster and easier. The dashboard is clean, so I can spot problems quickly.

It points out very tiny issues that are not risky, and I still have to spend time fixing them. It would be nice if it could sort big risks from small ones better.

What do you like best about the product?
Its centralized alerting system and vendor/user/vulnerability tracking makes getting a broad team working on SOC2 compliance easy. Tasks can be delegated with easy visibility into deadlines.
It's been easy to set up and keep running, with strong API integrations for the SaaS solutions we use.

What do you dislike about the product?
Filters are occasionally confusing, and sometimes notifications are inconsistent - people are notified too many times about some issues and not enough about others.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta helps us track all of our vendors and interface directly with our SOC2 auditors. I couldn't imagine doing SOC2 without Vanta.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Vanta is how much it simplifies and centralizes our compliance efforts. It’s incredibly user-friendly, and the integrations (especially with M365, Slack, and our endpoint security tools) make evidence collection practically automatic. The policy templates, risk management module, and access reviews save me hours every month. And I really appreciate how easy it is to assign tasks and keep leadership in the loop with dashboards and exports.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s very little I dislike about Vanta, but if I had to name something, it would be the limitations around customizing certain modules. For example, some fields in the risk register or vendor security reviews are a bit rigid . it would be great to tailor them more to our specific workflows. Also, when assigning tasks to others, I wish there were more flexibility in tracking partial progress or clarifying ownership when multiple people are involved.
One other thing, I’d love the option to run both Vanta’s security training for contractors and a separate, internal training program for our full-time staff. Right now, it feels a bit either/or, and we’d benefit from being able to customize training delivery by user type.

Vanta is helping me build and manage our compliance program from the ground up. As someone going through this process for the first time, it’s made everything feel achievable — from setting up policies and assigning training to conducting access reviews and risk assessments.
It removes the guesswork, automates a ton of the evidence collection, and keeps everything organized in one place. It’s also made it really easy to show progress to leadership and stay on top of what needs to be done next. Vanta has been a huge confidence booster throughout the SOC 2 process.
