I like that Vanta is easy to use and organized. It sends me alerts and updates, which I find helpful. Plus, it's easy to navigate. The initial setup was seamless and super easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, there's too many emails. Too many follow-up emails. Too many just too many emails.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta keeps us organized, tells us what we need to do, organizes our policies, and ensures our employees are HIPAA compliant.

Vanta automates the manual work involved in preparing for audits like SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and GDPR. Instead of manually collecting screenshots and evidence, Vanta integrates with your tools to do it automatically.

Improve the aspects related with reports, specially test reports
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it automates evidence collection, Vanta significantly reduces the time it takes to become "audit-ready." Companies can often achieve compliance in weeks rather than months.

I like the centralized storing feature in Vanta, as it really helps streamline controls and makes it easier for teams to know who manages what, compared to something like Google Drive. I also appreciate the document ownership aspect, which aids in knowing responsibilities better. Additionally, I find the Slack integration useful for notifying employees of trainings and alerting document owners when items are up for renewal or due.

Vanta helps with secure storage, managing SOC 2 filings, and streamlines controls. It centralizes storing and improves document ownership, making it easier than using Google Drive.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how Vanta provides an easy overview of the control framework and makes test evidence collection straightforward. The audit onboard and console are also really easy to use, both for me and the editor. It's incredibly convenient that the system collects evidence and tests on the fly and through APIs, and it continuously monitors my current status. The initial setup was very easy, and the customer success team was very supportive throughout the process, helping build the identity compliance framework and onboard all the employees.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Vanta could provide much easier API integration for custom integrations. Also, it would be great if it could collect all the data from vendors in a smarter way, maybe using AI to gather initial public data automatically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Vanta to get an overview of our control framework, ensure we're on track with controls and tests, and collect audit evidence. It's easy to use, continuously monitors our status, and collects evidence via API, streamlining compliance for EASER 2701 and HIPAA.
Efficient Automation with Outstanding Support
What do you like best about the product?
I like the support from Vanta. The automation of the questionnaires is also helpful as it supports the employees and makes the processes faster and better.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't find the group distribution at Vanta very good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta assists with audits, training, onboarding, monitoring, and certifications, and reduces overhead with employees. The automation of questionnaires supports employees and accelerates processes.
Streamlined Certification, but a Non-Intuitive Dashboard
What do you like best about the product?
I liked that it takes the guess work out of the certification process and streamlines the whole procedure.
What do you dislike about the product?
The dashboard is not intuitive. I find it hard sometimes to find what tasks are waiting on my approval. Also not intuitive to know what the next steps should be taken to move the process forward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our business requires ISO 27001 software certification so it has been a big help with that.
Smooth Certification, Simple UX, Needs Better Asset Management
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Vanta standardizes our IT security in a good way and has a simple UX. It makes our certification processes go smooth.
What do you dislike about the product?
The asset management is really hard to adjust to one's needs; you can only work with 'custom items' and all the automated categories. Also, the collaboration with Workstreet does not work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Vanta to standardize our IT security, improve communication about data security, and streamline certification processes.
Great UX That Simplifies a Complex Industry
What do you like best about the product?
Great UX and they simplify things in a complex industry.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the same time, it's still complex. Not Vanta itself, but there are a lot of complex features and things in this industry which makes Vanta still not so easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta is helping us get certified in SOC2

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use, great security functionality. Links into trust centres and pulls out security information easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't have all the functionality to add due diligence questionnaires in separate sections to then send to different people in an organisation to complete.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Completing vendor management activities such as Due diligence.
