Self explanatory security suggestion for your apps and servers.
What do you like best about the product?
They are regularly updating and providing summary points on required action towards your application and server security tips.

I feel some UI needs to be more userfriendly and responsive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have measured server and app security and its daily points of summary and require action items to give benefits to our app.

I like how they strive to provide compliance solutions to make the businesses ace every possible opportunity to grow.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no dislikes since if I need SOC2 compliance. Vanta is there to prepare me to get one, so I do not have much to worry and dislike about
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta has helped my organization to secure and protect user data which made us achieve SOC2 compliance. I can say with confidence that the business has grown and extended to new markets. All thanks to Vanta
It just works. Vanta's integrations make SOC2/HIPAA work much smoother

I like how Vanta integrates with our services and perform an actual scan of the configuration, and suggests smart improvements

Vanta agent should be shipped as a Mac app via Mac Store, not an Adhoc package

SOC2/HIPAA attestation
They have nice structured way to manage IT security compliances
What do you like best about the product?
I would say most likely I enjoy the onboarding process and a nice way to manage documentation and other security stuff on a single platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
For penetration testing, they don't have enough resources, I would strongly recommend some well-reputed security organizations and transparency.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to manage our IT compliances with the help of Vanta and it's easy to get the information at single platform.

I loved that we got an actual human concierge who helped us get set up. After that point, their automated scanners made everything else easy.

I have no dislikes yet. So far, it's a great product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed help scanning and hunting for vulnerabilities and threats. Vanta brought a few issues to our attention.
Smart Effective & All in One Tool
What do you like best about the product?
It provides a user-friendly interface and information, especially for those who have never been part of any compliance audit. It reduces the effort and workforce to achieve compliance audits.
What do you dislike about the product?
Ideally no major dislike but if we can have a direction from Vanta to achieve audit like SOC2, where one should start. I did not find a documentation around it. Also Vanta needs to improve their support response timeline.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are targeting SOC2 & HIPAA. The benefit is that we do not need multiple teams or domains like IT HR etc, to collaborate and work for Audit; Vanta as a single tool can be used to collect, monitor evidence. Also, multiple SaaS integrations provide flexibility.

Makes SOC2 10x easier. Good tech and great support.

Nothing in particular. I guess it's a bit expensive.

What do you like best about the product?
The product feels results focused. The product team have clearly gone back to first principles when designing Vanta and thought about the results the user wants to achieve, rather than starting with data structures and building a UI on top of this. This makes the product simple and efficient to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Risk management module is overly simplistic for my tastes. I come from an ISO27001 risk management background and whilst the Vanta module helped think through some basic risks, I wanted to develop a risks register based on our more detailed information assets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We bought Vanta to help with our SOC2 reporting where it brought time savings in terms of reducing the number of questions the auditors asked. Having said that, the biggest benefit is probably helping monitor our security posture on an on-going basis, particularly in terms of keeping us within SLA when resolving vulnerabilities.
Highly automated SOC 2 compliance
What do you like best about the product?
Plenty of integrations into our infrastructure to provide a continuous overview of governance. Also monitors HR tools for employee compliance. Like the UI that surfaces todo items for clear ways to operationalize security.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some manual processes involved, like creating policy documents that are not automatically integrated into controls for mitigating risk. It is also not clear how to customize Vanta for a specific company's processes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving the expensive and long process of traditional human audit-based SOC 2 compliance. This automates almost every part of the process, and because auditors are trained on the platform the cost is reduced as well.
Vanta has been an excellent way for our SaaS startup to take on SOC 2 compliance.
What do you like best about the product?
I love the Policy creation support and the Vanta agent that tracks all employee and infrastructure systems for compliance. The cost savings alone and the ability to walk you through the compliance process is well worth the cost. Especially compared to the time and cost of bringing on a CISO or consultant.
What do you dislike about the product?
Once all of your Vanta tests come out OK, you still aren't SOC 2 Compliant so understanding what is needed to get fully compliant takes talking to your account manager.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our most significant issues are securing our organization and dealing with SOC 2 compliance in a small organization with a small budget. We don't have a complete need for a CISO, and bringing one on board as a consultant eats up money that could be spent on growing our company.
