Exceptional product, more than exceptional support
What do you like best about the product?
Product support and customer satisfaction are worth every penny of the cost.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at all, every aspect of the service is incredible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We significantly reduced the number of manhours and staff required to complete our certification.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The tool is fantastic, but beyond that, we had a problem with an auditor during the audit process, and the Vanta support team responded immediately and helped remediate the situation. That alone was worth every penny we have spent on Vanta.
Fantastic product
What do you like best about the product?
Everything. All the automated checks with remedy explanations when a test fails are fantastic. Keeps up SOC2 compliant so easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Really nothing. The pricing for additional checklists is pretty steep though. Like we have SOC2 and ISO27001 is additional pricing and it's really high. Seems way too high.

Easy to use, much needed gathering place for compliance evidence!
What do you like best about the product?
I love how simple Vanta is. It's super easy to connect all necessary software to the integrations page, and it tells you how and where and why tests may be failing. You even get instructions on how to remediate them, depending on the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one thing I wish would change about Vanta would be direct links to computer records in Jamf. Right now, when you click them, you're brought to the Jamf homepage and not the computer record. I also wish we could send Vanta alerts to a specified e-mail (i.e. a ticketing system or Slack channel) to be able to remediate issues ASAP.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're working on evidence gathering for SOC 2 compliance. Vanta makes the evidence gathering process extremely simple. You connect your devices, Infrastructure, and HRIS, and Vanta tells you what you need to do from there.

What do you like best about the product?
Vanta provides tremendous value for companies that need to map out their compliance requirements to technical controls correctly. I love the reporting capabilities as well. Sending out security questionnaires became a trivial task with Vanta.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to see even more standards included. Also, automating notifications to customers when there are data subprocessor changes would be an excellent addition.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are mapping various compliance requirements to appropriate technical controls. Creating a detailed gap report becomes easy with Vanta. Vendor management also.
Impressively streamlined our SOC2 certification process
What do you like best about the product?
Track your entire workflow looking for SOC2 or other certification requirements in a fully automatic fashion, providing the path to resolution in those cases you're not compliant with.
What do you dislike about the product?
I couldn't find yet any downsides within the application or their processes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SOC2 certification is extremely thorough and Vanta simplifies a lot from providing the tools, helping in the process and facilitating the access to auditors. It's a no-brainer.

Greatly increases the efficiency of SOC2 preparation
What do you like best about the product?
The APIs have been extremely helpful in increasing the efficiency of our SOC2 preparations. The platform has also helped us divide responsibilities well.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's no magical button to complete SOC2, but Vanta certainly is a huge step forward.

What do you like best about the product?
It is super easy to use and set up. It makes audit readiness super straightforward. I would recommend to any startup doing SOC 2 for the first time. We are using it for SOC 2 and GDPR.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not all auditors know it or use it, so you need to be working with an auditor that is familiar with Vanta.

Vanta streamlines SOC 2 readiness. It has made keeping track of SOC 2 compliance easy and provides ongoing monitoring.

What do you like best about the product?
All the information is in one place. You can see non-compliant people, computers and resources and receive updates and instructions on resolving issues. The support is great

Nothing so far after two years of use, it is a great product

Simplifies something incredibly complex
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta has an intuitive and well-designed interface that makes it very easy to see all of the different areas of my business that need to be monitored for Soc 2 compliance. They automatically generate to-do task lists that make a huge process digestible. The platform connects to a ton of different services I already use, making otherwise manual tasks automatic.
What do you dislike about the product?
Vanta errs on the side of caution in terms of what needs to be monitored for compliance, and prompts you to setup reporting or documentation for areas that many auditors will not look at or need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We work with large enterprise customers that have rigorous information security standards. Accordingly, we need to retain Soc-2 certification, and Vanta makes this as simple as possible.
