Effortless SOC 2 Compliance with Excellent Usability
What do you like best about the product?
I use Vanta for SOC 2 and Trust Center, and I find it helps us to easily track and stay compliant with our SOC 2 requirements. I like that Vanta is easy to use and navigate. The onboarding was pretty smooth too. It integrates well with our payroll/HR software.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy Vanta is to use. The ease of use is definitely something that stands out for me. I also appreciate using the dashboard a lot because it helps ensure I have all my items checked off the list and stay compliant.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's hard to find certain items and maybe some more, like, links to docs so I can quickly see what needs to be completed and where.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Vanta for HIPAA compliance, making sure our dev team follows what needs to be done. The dashboard helps us check off items and stay compliant.

Vanta helps us automate compliance processes while continuously monitoring our security controls. It cuts down on manual effort, keeps us audit-ready, and saves a significant amount of time.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Vanta for risk control management, policy tracking, and audit preparation. It allows us to efficiently work towards the certifications we need. I like Vanta's intuitive UI and personal support. The platform's flexibility is great; it smoothly adapts to our specific needs. Additionally, the initial setup was good as they provide support along the way.

Integrates Well but Needs Better Guidance
What do you like best about the product?
I use Vanta for SOC2 compliance and I like that it integrates with other apps. The UX is pretty good too.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be hard to navigate for someone new to cybersecurity and compliance. More explainers about what things are/mean or why they matter could help.

Vanta makes sure we don't forget what we're supposed to do for SOC2 compliance and integrates well with other apps.
Intuitive Interface, Essential for SOC 2 Compliance
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the user interface and user experience of Vanta. It's very intuitive for me, the management team, as well as all our stakeholders, whether they are internal employees or any external firms we work with. It's unified and cohesive, making it seamless for almost anyone to understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think specifically for the vulnerabilities that we had, there's room for improvement. Even though it's not completely a Vanta issue, it has to do with how we're triaging and prioritizing them. Often, we have labels for GitHub vulnerabilities like critical, high, medium, low. But at the end of the day, if we had any missed day, it just showed that we were not compliant. I feel like there could be some sort of variability there so that if someone is approaching the platform, they can see the degrees to the vulnerabilities or outstanding things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta helps us manage SOC 2 compliance by organizing multiple moving parts like terminations and vulnerabilities. It allows us to address these issues expediently and correctly.
Best-in-Class UI and Ease of Use
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and the ui I think are the best part of the product

The price for the subscription is on the higher side

It made sure we reached HIPAA compliance as an org and that we maintain that compliance
Automates Compliance, User-Friendly, Needs Document Constructor
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Vanta's excellent UX and thoughtfully designed system for navigating audits and remediating failing tests. Automated emails from Vanta help me keep on top of my 'inbox' of security tasks, providing peace of mind during observation windows with our audit team. The helpful remediation instructions make it clear what action I need to take on any given control. The initial setup of Vanta was easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Updating PDF policies is a PITA and this has not been fully resolved; a more interactive template 'editor' that generated the PDF from source copy + a review history would be a major improvement. After undergoing a branding change, for example, I had to download each policy and update our logo and the revision history manually in Acrobat. They should automate this in a 'document constructor' feature.

I use Vanta for SOC 2 compliance, automating controls to maintain security. It keeps me 'inbox zero' with automated emails and provides peace of mind during audits. The UX is excellent, and it clearly guides me through remediation tasks.
Automates Evidence Management, Not employees and remediation
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Vanta automates most of the busy work, which helps streamline our SOC 2 process by managing evidence and checks efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not quite every integration we need. Employees not always clear on what they need to do and need chasing. Integrations are never ending. Need something better than email notifications for employees as too easy to drop.

Easy to Use, Does Exactly What I Need—With Great Integrations
What do you like best about the product?
It’s easy to use, does exactly what I need it to do and has integrations to all major tools companies use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI can be a bit glitchy when it comes to reading data from Excel sheets and forms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It saves us a lot of time on our compliance activities and greatly streamlines the audit process.
