Overall, a pretty good LMS
What do you like best about the product?
D2L's Brightspace is, for the most part, very user-friendly and contains many of the tools most institutions would use to deliver online courses.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike the most about Brightspace is the permissions and how unconnected tools are connected via the permissions. I also wish there was a way to provide modified access at the course level for a specific user or only within a specific course. The all-or-nothing role set-up is far less flexible than I would like to see.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Brightspace allowed us to pivot our on-campus offerings to be fully online when the pandemic first hit, the ease of use made training faculty less stressful and the integrated tools allowed us to move almost all of our courses online within a short amount of time.
Very intuitive platform.
What do you like best about the product?
Note items have all the attributes to grade the students.
What do you dislike about the product?
With the new update, I can't delete all the modules at once, I need to switch to the previous version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At the moment, no problem.

The usability of the platform, the clean experience, and accessibility everywhere, without any difficulty in access.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I find it difficult to interact with the technical support team.

I use the LMS platform for taking development courses. I have always had good results.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
simple and easy to learn, clean experience. highly recommended.
Excellent but has some errors
What do you like best about the product?
I really love that every task is specified by the asigment, the teacher, time, tittle and everything you need to complete the task. It's different because you can also check your tasks as done.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't like that I've been having the same problem for a long time. I can't receive notifications on my phone and when ai ponen the app it says that there's an error.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
D2L helped me at my studies, at getting better grades in my signatures. I love that it's free and I don't waste time to buy a list. I've got better grades and feedback when needed.
It has an intuitive navigation
What do you like best about the product?
Content creation is easy, its use and tools to achieve the objectives.
What do you dislike about the product?
I consider that the generation of reports is very poor.

It allows users better usability because its interface is user-friendly and does not cause users difficulty in its use.

Improve community in Spanish.

i really like the appearance of the platform. also I like the organization, facility to import material from other courses and others platforms and finally, I like the possibilities of personalization.
What do you dislike about the product?
one of the features that i really mis of the last platform used by Universidad de lso Andes is the posibility to schedule the date of liberation of any new section or material when you are creating it or you are editing this material.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have solved the problem of give the information to my students in a clear and organized way. Also Brightspace helpme to do it in a interactive and pretty way.

What do you like best about the product?
Brightspace offers a variety of tools to allow instructors to present course materials and engage students in active learning.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be challenging when trying to change the structure/design of the course interface or navigation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to better understand the needs of students. Brightspace analytics tools are helping us understand student behaviour.

Some of the interfaces were a little dodgy but overall a fun experence

The Right Place to Have my Academic Information
What do you like best about the product?
The way content is displayed and the multiple possibilities external content can be posted.
What do you dislike about the product?
Audio files (in quizzes) cannot be exported in a Brightspace Package
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can very easily and quickly post various types of information, so my groups can see it without opening any mails, or any other sites.

If you want this LMS to be effective, learn how to use it properly. Check also the information D2l offers to support users.
Smooth and practical
What do you like best about the product?
The possibilities to set and display content to my liking.
What do you dislike about the product?
Units in the content are have very narrow margins, unlike html pages that fit the screen better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The platform in general is user friendly for both, students and teachers in general, especially if you only need to use the most basic features.

They basic knowledge of LMS design.
