An incredibly powerful AI video generator that is easy to learn and use
What do you like best about the product?
I like the features included with the editor that make learning the platform easy so you are able to start creating impactful videos only a short time after signing up. The ability to search for real stock footage and audio inside of the editor helps streamline the development process and the timining controls are very intuitive as well. This is a method of learning delivery I try to include in nearly all of my courses and lessons.
What's great is that they are constantly updating and developing new features for Synthesia which makes it feel consistently fresh and current.
Their customer support has been great too. They are very responsive and helpful to the extent to which they have been empowered by the organization to respond to and solve customer issues. It is easy to contact them and the CS agents I've interacted with so far have been knowledgeable and good at making you feel like they are paying attention and genuinely care about the issue.
The voices are natural sounding and the translation capabilties are a fantastic touch. Overall, definitely the best AI video generator that I've used.

What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing could be improved. I personally don't think the benefits you get are consistent with the prices that are charged. Specifically, the time alotted for video generation. That casues some issues. You might be better off moving to a model that caps video quantity and duration for different tiers or something in that vein.
The actual platform is buggy and I find myself constantly refreshing the page or getting singed out because of an error that happens. Sometimes the preview doesn't play or there are connection issues or the AI for editing text doesn't generate. Just small things like that. These are not deal breakers by any means, but definitely annoying.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They've essentially scaled video production for anybody who can afford $30 a month or more. Before, there were platforms like Canva, Premiere Pro, and Avid that allowed you to procude videos but typically you had to have your own footage. Canva has stock footage but there is just something about the ability to have a person on the screen specifically addressing the audience watching the video. It adds a whole other dimension that drives engagement. So things like engagement, and shortening the development life cycle, and providing variety in content are all problems Synthesia has been able to solve for me (one-person department).

I can only think of limited video minuites.

What do you like best about the product?
With Synthesia, it is incredibly easy to create lifelike text-to-speech videos that are particularly notable due to the availability of custom avatars.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was a tad tricky making sure that the correct avatar was selected for mouth movement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Recording videos usually takes me a long time, but with Synthesia, that timeline has been drastically reduced.
Game changing training software
What do you like best about the product?
Synthesia is wonderfully easy to use and creates professional looking training courses with very little fuss. The AI facility is realy useful as a help to getting started and the range of avatars and voices make choosing a format simple. The ability to add animations to sides without having to worry about timings and changing text is fantastic as is the ability to place avatars on different backgrounds. It has been rally easy to integrate into our other training product Articulate and courses are simple to implement. We have started to use Synthesia for all of our courses.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much really. The ability to start off in UK English each time rather than defaulting to US English is about the nonly thing I can think of.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to record our videos in person using a video studio. not only was this expensive but also it meant that everytime we needed to chnage anything the whole video had to be re-recorded. Synthesia has not only made the studio unnecessary but we are now able to keep our presentations up to date and can even personalise them to different users.

Creating videos for internal & external audiences, in addition to translating these videos to local languages.

It is pretty intuitive and evolving very fast

Sometimes the Own Avatars act unreal. Standard Avatars look professional though.

We have a lot of text people must go through. Synthesia helps us creating engaging videos people are watching.

The continue update and support from the custoemr care team and the development team. Quality of the output

There are some limitations due to avatar use for some topics. You can be sorted out with a bigger subscription level. Obviously, depends on your needs

The speed of video release, quick from the idea to the output. Even the language and the different voice speed up the business video processor for your video marketing team.
So far it has been amazing. Synthesia is a game changer in this era of AI

Synchronizing screen recordings or videos is not working optimal currently and requires a decent amount of trial and error.
