Continuous New Features Make Synthesia a Go-To Content Creation Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The continous addition of new features makes Synthesia more and more valuable to our business. The tool is evolving all the time to become a top-of-mind tool for our team when we need to create content.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like other AI tools, it can be frustrating when the software doesn't produce the desired outcome. However, garbage in garbage out--as I refine and hone my prompting skills the tool will only work better for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our legacy brands no longer have a sales force nor do we have spokespersons or influencers to fuel our marketing. And, we work with a shoestring budget. Synthesia enables us to create custom content with a "human" touch even if it isn't actually human.

It’s easy to use, and you can produce high-quality material. The community is also super helpful. All you really need is a computer and a web browser to get started.

In certain situations, the avatars can look less realistic than you might like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We create high-quality training videos and high-quality materials for our customers.

What do you like best about the product?
Its consistency across multiple tracks and voice generation
What do you dislike about the product?
Its layer editor doesn’t offer the best tools available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Is helping a lot with the dubbing in videos, it helps a lot

Synthesia is very easy to use, and I really like how intuitive it feels. Overall, it’s straightforward to navigate and get started without any hassle.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s nothing I really “dislike,” but I’d love to see more voice and character options.

Ability to communicate with donors in a way other than email and text
Async Training Made Easy with Scripted Pauses and Video-to-Script
What do you like best about the product?
I'm really enjoying the ability to build async training materials using the script feature. The pauses I'm able to add are awesome! I also love the fact that we have the option to upload a pre-recorded video and have our speech turned into a script!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing has come up so far - it's been pretty intuitive
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing asynchronous instructions and trainings
Easy to Use and Navigate
What do you like best about the product?
The application is very easy to use and navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing structure, especially how it limits the number of AI options I can use.

Realistic, Likable Avatars That Stand Out
What do you like best about the product?
The quality of the avatars stands out—they look realistic and are genuinely likable.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't really had much opportunity to play with it - some of the elements don't feel very intuitive to me, but I think that will come with time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Big challenge these days is to get the audience to actually absorb the information we are trying to convene. written content is skimmed or just simply ignored. Synthesia helps me grab their attention.
Game-Changing Multilingual Translation and Easy Voiceovers
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to translate into other languages has been a game changer for us, since we’re a trilingual facility. The translation and voiceover process is easy and efficient, and it’s been incredibly helpful—saving our team a lot of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more pre-built templates to choose from. Having our brand kit is nice, but it would be even more helpful to have more pre-designed slides so we can plug and play and not have to think so much about the design process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has helped us deliver interactive training that no longer necessarily needs to be facilitator-led, and by far the biggest benefit has been the translation and voiceover feature.
Effortless AI Video Creation, Needs Improved Pronunciation
What do you like best about the product?
I like most about Synthesia that it's very easy to use and very fast, especially when choosing different characters. Each character has their various different attributes, which I find helpful. I've grown to like a couple of favorites, and what I'm really liking are the more naturalistic gestures. Although it's still improving, I appreciate that Synthesia is committed to making the program better and better. I'm also excited about the potential for using AI in conversations to simulate chatbots that can be trained on a knowledge set. Synthesia seems to be at the cutting edge of where things are going, and they put out good, easy-to-use products.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some things that could definitely be improved are the consistency of narration in the pronunciation of words. For instance, you could have the same word, the same exact spelling, even a phonetic spelling of a word in the same paragraph or in separate paragraphs on the same scene, and Synthesia characters will say those words incorrectly or differently. That can be very, very frustrating. There have been points where I've had to take the one time when a word was said correctly earlier in a scene, and with the exported audio or video track, I had to take the audio out to Adobe Audition to paste in the correct pronunciation of the word. That's just very, very frustrating and time-consuming. As well as the natural gestures, I'd love the inclusion of more gestures. Adding more of them so there's a range and not just always lifting their arms or something like that might be better to help sell the illusion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia saves me time and money by eliminating the need for casting, studio setup, and videoshoots. I can quickly create engaging sales scenarios, make last-minute edits, and generate voice narrations easily.
Effortless Video Creation, Fantastic User Support
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the ability to quickly create a video using Synthesia, especially the ease of correcting or updating a video without having to re-record the whole thing or redo the full audio track. Additionally, it's cost-effective compared to recording in a studio with actors. The AI video assistant is very helpful when developing a new video concept, and its localization and accessibility features allow all viewers to connect to the content. I also appreciate the ability to create personal avatars, which help make the content feel more relevant. Lastly, the ease of use is also a big plus for me. The initial setup was very easy, and the customer support team was awesome.
What do you dislike about the product?
One major complaint from our viewers is that the avatars are too static, making them a little distracting at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia lets me quickly create videos and easily update them without re-recording entirely. It offers a cost-effective alternative to studio recordings, with helpful AI assistants, accessibility, and localization features for inclusive access.
