Effortless Training Videos with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I use Synthesia for creating training videos, and I like that it solves the problem of making creation simple and quick, especially using AI. The process is not just clean and precise, but also fun. What I like most about Synthesia is the quality of the avatars, especially if it's a personal avatar. They look smooth, clean, and professional. The in-house avatars are great and very fluid, and the movement is fluid as well, which makes everything look more realistic and acceptable to the viewer. The initial setup was pretty simple and not difficult at all.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pay gate to branding guidance is a bit of an issue for me. I want to keep my videos on brand at all times, but it requires an enterprise level subscription of which I’m not at that level as yet. Also, I can't change backgrounds or outfits for my personal avatar, which is something I'd like to have more control over. At my subscription level, which is $70 a month, I was expecting more features and functions like these.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia simplifies and speeds up training video creation using AI. It makes video creation clean, precise, and fun.
A useful tool that saves me 2 days!
What do you like best about the product?
It provides more than 200 different Avatars for talent in the videos I make. Anyone of whom will speak in any of 80 languages.
What do you dislike about the product?
The preview mode I use after I create a video doesn't let me stop part way through.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used to use co-workers as talent in our videos, which meant re-takes due to some of the technical terms in the script. I used an iPad based telepromter to help, but still needed frequent re-takes. With Synthesia, once the script is uploaded, there are no mistakes.
Time saver
What do you like best about the product?
It's intuitive and so well thought out. The fact that I can create libraries of frequently-used images and video clips saves so much time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I can think of is silly, really: Synthesiat defaults to British English for avatars. I'd love to use the British accents, but our product is sold only to companies subject to U.S. regulations, so it wouldn't make sense.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The videos we create free up time that our staff would otherwise have to devote to demonstrate our software. We've created smaller tech support vidoes that also help free up customer support time.

What do you like best about the product?
It is time and cost-efficient, allowing me to create an avatar in less than two hours. I used it immediately in several languages (I find this a fantastic feature) based on content input as text. The interface is user-friendly and quite intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did not find out how to shorten gaps between sentences in less than one minute:). It is not apparent what 10 minutes are counted (I thought the count is for the published videos, the length of all published videos).

Creating content aimed to rise client engagement and easyness in training and support.

I tried quite a few platforms berofe Synthesia, each one good at one thing and missing another. So far it is the only one combining everything I need to create my videos. User friendly, excellent customer support, so far it helps me create the content I need easy and fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't figured out an option to stack video from its stock sources in one scene. I will be reaching out to customer support for that, since I don't have time to do all the trainings they offer or rearch for the option, if available.

It takes some time to tweak the pauses to get fluid Avatar movements.

I can create high quality content and edit mistakes faster than shooting and reshooting my own videos.

My experience with Synthesia
What do you like best about the product?
I am using Synthesia's AI avatar to create my training videos. Synthesia has made it easy for me to script my videos, and then it does the voiceovers for me in my voice. It has saved a TON of time over manually recording voiceovers. Additionally, I use most of the tools to create my training videos. Still, I also export the video and audio files for additional editing tools that aren't available in Synthesia, and doing so is easy. Overall, Synthesia is very user-friendly, and I like the tools and options available.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've only used Synthesia for about 8 months to create training videos. I haven't encountered anything I dislike other than the difficulty of getting the AI-generated voiceover to pronounce some words correctly. I've used the tool that allows me to correct the pronunciation, but it doesn't always work. Additionally, the AI-generated voice-over has some issues with ending sentences. For example, the generated voice-over will end a sentence sounding like I'm asking a question even though the sentence ends in a period.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before I started using Synthesia, I was manually recording voice overs for training videos. It was very time consuming and any error or mispronunciation required a complete re-recording. Synthesia has solved that problem for me.
