Effortless Video Creation, Needs AI Enhancement
What do you like best about the product?
I use Synthesia to create videos for training. I find it easy to create a video with slides for content along with images and videos. I like that it was easy to go in and figure out how to use it with little support. The initial setup was easy with a low time commitment.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI creator for images and video needs improvement.

Easy from Day One with Powerful AI Integrations and Top-Tier Support
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful features of Synthesia are how easy it is to understand from day one; the AI integrations including Assistant, background creation, and avatar customization; the customer support team is one of the best I have worked with; and last but not least, how the automatic SCORM update integrates with my LMS.
What do you dislike about the product?
Synthesia is fast and reliable, but more than once I have encountered days when the system is down, making it impossible to save changes or generate videos.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Faster developing times, and easy integrations and implementations.
Easy to Use, Professional Results That Save Our Team Time
What do you like best about the product?
It’s incredibly easy to use and very user-friendly, yet it still delivers truly professional-looking results. It has saved our team so much time on editing and recreating videos when changes are needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish some features were available to copy to the entire video, such as shadows. This would save time.
Another potential time saver includes recorded videos automatically resizing to fit the screen instead of having to resize them all individually in each scene.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia saves the team time when we have software updates and need to make minor changes to videos. Before we would have to completely re-record the video so Synthesia is very much a time-saver.
User-Friendly with Flexible Formats
What do you like best about the product?
I find Synthesia very user-friendly in a smart way, particularly for providing AI assistance in pushing projects out for our team. I like the different formats that are set up to use and appreciate how you can change them as needed. It kinda works for you, and I like that. One of my favorites is the 'Friday chance' at 8:00 in the morning, central time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I find whenever I use my own AI, it's a little robotic. It doesn't come off clear and precise sometimes. The initial setup was okay but had its hiccups, especially when trying to put my avatar in, which was a little difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia helps by providing AI assistance for my projects, making it user-friendly to organize and present ideas in a clear, concise format.
Streamlined Course Creation with Some Hurdles
What do you like best about the product?
I like using Synthesia for generating e-learning courses for mechanics because of the avatars and their animations and actions. I also appreciate the voices and the variety of choices between avatar voices. These features are valuable in making sure the learning experience is as engaging as possible. Editing is easy too, whether it's related to the script or the placement of avatars within the content. The variety of voices is extremely valuable. Additionally, Synthesia is a great tool for creating AI voice-supported e-learning, and I find it to be one of the best out there.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. I think the biggest thing is to be able to create and download scenes individually from a project, so I don't have to download the entire video every time. I'd like to be able to download scenes individually rather than the entire set of scenes. The initial setup was okay, but the use of templates needs to be improved tremendously. 2. Related, is the lack of ability to generate videos of just a selection of scenes. And therefore reduce time to generate the entire project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Synthesia to generate e-learning courses for mechanics. The avatars and voices help eliminate reliance on live people for content creation, making it easy to update materials.
Best-in-Class Avatars and Multilingual Video Creation
What do you like best about the product?
The avatar feature, along with the ability to create videos with speakers, is the best part for me—especially the translations and the range of language options.
What do you dislike about the product?
The number of interactivity options feels limited. There’s also a lack of avatar hand and gesture controls. As a result, that part of the video process seems random and inconsistent each time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I like being able to create engaging videos with a speaker, and it’s also easy to build animations using script triggers.
Effortless Onboarding, Customizable Voices
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Synthesia is easy to use. I really do love the option to change the voices, as I think depending on the content, it's really important to be able to adjust the tone.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've been having issues with the music feature. Every time I try to add music, it never seems to stick.

Synthesia solves the time crunch of onboarding by ensuring consistent information sharing about company roles and nuances, even when one person manages it.
Multiple Video Slides That Just Work—Useful Right Away
What do you like best about the product?
Abilityto do multiple slides with different video in each slide.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike. It's useful immediately and gets better the more you know about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One software for creating entire programs as opposed to multiple software that doesn't always connect with each other.
Intuitive Video Creation, Needs Better Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I use Synthesia to create training videos for eLearning and instructor led courses at my company. Synthesia makes creating videos simple and easy. I love that we can collaborate as a team to create an amazing video. The avatars are totally customizable and you can make your own avatar. My favorite part of the program is how easy it is to modify the scenes to make a nice easy flowing video. You can add different videos and have them play at different times in the same scene, edit the videos and trim unnecessary scenes easily. Motion graphics can even take the scene to the next level by displaying relevant information from the narrative.
What do you dislike about the product?
Collaboration needs some work. It seems that if more than one person is adding content the other collaborators cannot always see it and it does not generate correctly. I have experienced this in several videos that I have created and it causes a bit of a headache. When I work with my colleagues and they add a video to a scene, the video is black for me if I started the project and I have to delete what they added and add it myself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Synthesia to easily create and modify training videos collaboratively. The customizable avatars and scene editing make the videos engaging and professional. However, the collaboration feature needs improvement as it can cause discrepancies in content visibility.

What do you like best about the product?
The avatars look lifelike and the tool is easy to use. The final results feel polished, high-quality, and professional.

There’s a slight learning curve, and the features aren’t always immediately obvious at first.
