Best Video Quality Plataform Avaliable Today but with some points to improve
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using AI and AI Avatars video platforms for business-related projects for some time now. I can affirm that Synthesia have the best video quality output and the most realistic avatars in the industry. Synthesia have also the best in class video editor and the most productive workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some serious improvement opportunities in the platform.
1) Huge price gap between the self-service Creator plan and the Enterprise + Agency plans. A new plan bigger than Creator and smaller than the Enterprise would be a nice fit for some customers.
2) The creator plan has a very small 360 min videos limit per year. Comparing with HeyGen, Colossyan and others, this is a serious limitation. I also use Colossyan because of this.
3) Shallow and obscure moderation policy. I had blocked videos that have no relation to what is written in the moderation policy page. The worst is the appeal process. If your regular paying customer is asking for an appeal, even if that is the case of really being rejected, the customer should receive some clarification of why the video content was blocked and not just a standard message. Reading a standard denial message, I really felt like Synthesia's answer was: "you know what? I don´t care, I will not render your video and I don´t have time to tell you why". BTW, the video draft is deleted and you lose all your work. Important: I understand the moderation policy is important and should be enforced but the rules of the game must be clear.

Synthesia has made creating training videos fun and effective
What do you like best about the product?
The suggestions for templates and the use of the AI have been very helpful. I typically start off with the suggestions and then add to it to make it fit what my company needs are for my training videos. The seamlessness of the videos make for a very professional product that I feel proud to present to my teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lip sync is still not where it needs to be with the avatars - they are making improvements, but I still am not comfortable using a full screen avatar in my videos because the lip sync is distracting. It needs more English/US voices and avatars - the majority of the avatars are foreign and so it's not as relatable. I use the same avatar (I use the small square of them - not full screen) and the same voice for my videos - I would like more options for the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are solving the problem of creating interesting, captivating videos for training content. This makes my job easier by saving me time in the creation process - as well as time it would've taken me to research photos/videos to use in my video due to their extensive media supply.
User Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
Synthesia is incredibly user-friendly, even for someone with intermediate tech skills. The platform's intuitive interface makes it easy to create high-quality videos without requiring advanced editing knowledge. What stands out the most is how realistic and engaging the AI avatars look. Their natural facial expressions and lifelike movements enhance the learning experience, making my English teaching videos more captivating for my audience. The AI-driven voiceovers are also clear and professional, ensuring that learners stay engaged and retain information effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
One limitation of Synthesia is the lack of customization when it comes to AI avatars' gestures and expressions. While the models look realistic, having more control over their body language and facial expressions would make the videos even more engaging. Additionally, the voice options, though high quality, could benefit from more flexibility in tone and emotional variation to enhance the natural feel of conversations. Lastly, the pricing can be a bit high for small creators who are just starting out, making it less accessible for those on a budget.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia is solving the problem of expensive and time-consuming video production by providing an AI-powered solution that eliminates the need for cameras and actors. This benefits me by allowing me to create high-quality English teaching videos quickly and efficiently. The AI avatars make my content more engaging for learners, ensuring they stay interested and absorb the lessons better. Additionally, Synthesia helps break language barriers by offering diverse voice options, making it easier to teach English to a global audience without the need for native speakers to be on camera.

What do you like best about the product?
One of the best things about Synthesia is the ability to use our custom avatars and voice cloning to create content featuring familiar company faces with a quick turnaround. This makes our videos feel more engaging, authentic, and realistic, while also streamlining production. It’s a game-changer for scaling high-quality content efficiently.

What do you dislike about the product?
One downside of Synthesia is that you can't preview how the avatar's mouth moves until the video is fully generated. This was a bigger challenge when we were on a lower plan with limited video generation minutes, as every revision counted. Now that we're on the Enterprise plan with unlimited generation, it’s less of an issue, but it would still be helpful to have a real-time preview for quicker fine-tuning.

Synthesia enables us to create video content quickly, which not only speeds up our production process but also significantly reduces the costs associated with in-person video shoots. This efficiency allows us to scale content creation without compromising quality.

Sometimes the video quality of avatars seems clunky. You can’t change voice intonation.

My favorite tool for generating videos
What do you like best about the product?
Synthesia allows you to generate videos very simply, helping the author both in the setup and execution phases. The support features with artificial intelligence are very powerful. The avatars are very believable and the linguistic intonation is very good. This saves a lot of time without losing quality.
What do you dislike about the product?
Editing the tests present on the individual scenes is not very easy as it requires a lot of attention and precision. Interacting with the controls is not always very intuitive.

When videos are rejected they are deleted. It would be nice to have the opportunity to correct them and re-generate vs. staring from scratch again

What do you like best about the product?
Senthesia is the best ai video creator I have used. AI support is amazing, full of videos and images free resources to enhance your videos, best marketing tool is to build your advertising videos with it. Tons of very different avatars.
If you want to create shorts it's very fast and inexpensive at all.
The video can then be translated to many other languages. You can publish your videos to their cloud or download them to upload them to different platforms such as YouTube or do both.
I love this platform, most importantly they are the first one in the market and always adding new features.

I love how simple it is and how easy to use. This is just the beginning and I know synthesia will improve drastically.
