Create Training Videos Fast with Synthesia’s Templates and Avatars
What do you like best about the product?
I like how quickly I can create training videos using Synthesia's pre-built templates, avatars, backgrounds, and image and video catalogs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they would update their template library. I am not that crazy about the current templates and wish they would up-level them. Also wish I could search templates to find a specific slide, for example, a slide for key takeaways.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping me add a multi-media element to my courses, and I use the interactive feature for scenario-based training, which saves me time.
Seamless Video Creation in a Few Clicks with Synthesia
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Synthesia has made it video-making so seamless. You can create the best product explainer, demo, social media, and storytelling videos in a few clicks. On top of it, you get to choose an AI Avatar from the various available options. Gone are the days when you needed a proper setup, team, filmmaking tools, and more - with Synthesia you can create the best videos in a jiffy.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Sythesia is a well-equipped video-making tool. There's still some gap in terms of the natural tone of the AI avatars, It can feel a bit robotic at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia solves the traditional way of creating videos. Instead of needing a complete crew of a cameraman, green background, and investing in traditional methods. We get to create quality videos in a span of few hours. No more need of spending hours for editing and recording the videos.

What stands out most about Synthesia is how it turns something that used to be expensive, time-consuming, and technical,video production, into something fast, scalable, and accessible.
What do you dislike about the product?
One challenge I’ve experienced with Synthesia is difficulty accessing the affiliate dashboard. Currently, I’m unable to log in, which makes it hard to track performance, manage referrals, or fully take advantage of the affiliate program. This kind of access issue can be frustrating, especially when trying to actively promote the platform and monitor results. While the avatars are impressive, they can sometimes feel slightly robotic or lack deeper emotional expression, especially for storytelling content, and also for small businesses or creators just starting out, the pricing may feel expensive compared to other video tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia is solving the problem of how expensive and time-consuming it is to create professional videos. Normally, you would need a camera setup, actors, editing tools, and a lot of time just to produce one video. With Synthesia, you can simply type a script and generate a high-quality video with an AI avatar in minutes.
For me, this has been very helpful as a business owner. It allows me to quickly create marketing videos, client presentations, and training content without needing a full production setup. I’m able to save time, reduce costs, and still maintain a professional look across my content.

It is truly fascinating the capabilities to integrate AI into the development of videos. I feel like I'm learning about the future of interactive learning.

I really don't feel like there's anything.

It's mostly informative right now; however, I hope to continue learning.
Effortless Setup and User-Friendly Experience
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing I like about Synthesia is its ease of use. It was really easy to learn, and I picked it up within an afternoon and had the first product out within a few hours. Additionally, I got to review my speech and voice-over in real time, which helped me ensure they sounded clear without any unnecessary stuttering or false statements.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the pronunciations were a little rough. But with practice, I learned to do the phonetics for them and get most of them pretty close to where they need to be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia keeps our software demos clear and precise without repetition, allowing us to show it to 200+ locations easily.
Game-Changer for Educational Content Creation
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the AI content-generated feature, where I can drop a script and it styles it according to my parameters, and even improves it. I find the features and tools easy to navigate and adjust, unlike some other video editing tools like Camtasia. The initial setup was very easy. The subtitles that highlight each word are great, and I love them. I also appreciate using an AI agentic persona because it's convenient for me due to my accent and privacy concerns.
What do you dislike about the product?
Music selections should be more tailored to the educational style. Also, images should be without watermarks. The subtitles that highlight each word clash with the YouTube subtitles. I don't see too many Asian or Middle Eastern-looking characters. I would like avatars to stand, walk, or move around, and be able to add multiple avatars and voices to one slide. Integration with other tools like Canva would be valuable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Synthesia because I have an accent and value my privacy; the AI persona is convenient for creating educational materials.
Synthesia’s Complete Translation Experience Sets the Standard
What do you like best about the product?
In my opinion, Synthesia is best suited for content you plan to translate. I’m not aware of any other product that offers such a complete translation feature. Plenty of systems can translate text or video, but when you want the entire experience translated, I don’t think anything else comes close.
What do you dislike about the product?
Every platform has its challenges. Knowing about potential issues before you dive into creating content can save you many hours of rework later. For example, don’t be tempted to create graphics with text in Illustrator or Photoshop as Synthesia won't be able to translate it. Obvious when you think about it, and an acceptable compromise.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were recently challenged to create a suite of content for a large multinational client across 23 languages. Using anything other than Synthesia would have been completely impractical. Synthesia delivered.
Intuitive and Effective for Corporate Training
What do you like best about the product?
I use Synthesia to voice and narrate training scripts for my company. I like its ease of use and the constant improvement. The training and Feature Fridays are top notch. The better I get at understanding the tools, the faster and easier I can create my designs. The initial setup is very easy and intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
The avatars seem to do what they want and sometimes don't make sense. I'd also like more ability to make an avatar turn and look at something on the screen. It would feel more natural. There are people who are upset by the obvious appearance of avatars.

I use Synthesia to voice training scripts, eliminating the need to hire actors or use untrained voices.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Synthesia has allowed us, as non-video developers, to develop training videos, implement edits quickly, and create visually appealing videos. It's been really great to be able to rapidly and efficiently develop videos with total control over the development process, eliminating the need to outsource video creation. The initial setup was very simple, and we had several resources available to guide us if we had any questions or issues.

We have had some issues with interactivity working.

We rapidly develop videos with full control, eliminating the need to outsource. Synthesia enables non-video developers like us to create, edit, and produce appealing training videos swiftly.
Easy to Use, Great Photo Avatars, and Fast Support at an Affordable Price
What do you like best about the product?
It’s really easy to use, and it provides unlimited previews for fine-tuning the avatar’s voice. Also, the Photo avatar is much better than the legacy (video) one. Creation of new photo avatar is really quick and the time to generate videos is also OK.
I also really like the integration of Gen AI like Veo 3.1 for generating short B-roll videos and changing outfits.
In my organization we are using 100+ licences so the pricing per year is really affordable. We also have a dedicated Happyness manager, so support is really quick and pleasent.

What do you dislike about the product?
In all honesty, the possibility of Streaming avatar and something like Mascot avatar would be really helpful. But I understand legislative issues connected to that.
Other than that, with Photo avatar there is an "issue", when you generate new Outfit or Space, it also changes a face of avatar a little bit, but it will be improved I believe.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our main use cases are training videos for general knowledge, compliance, soft skills, and similar topics. For these, we use “anonymous” avatars from Synthesia.
We also use Synthesia for personalized training content from dealers and trainers. Their customers are used to seeing their face, so in those situations the Personal avatar—and now the Photo Avatar—works best.
On top of that, the multilingual support saves us a lot of time and money.
