Time-Saving, Easy to Use, Needs Voice Improvements
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I've been learning about Synthesia, and it's becoming a little easier to use each day. I also appreciate the new upgrade that's happening to make things more accessible and straightforward. I noticed improvements compared to when I first started using it, especially with avatars looking more natural and the voice dubbing sounding better and more consistent. It flows really well now and sounds natural, which makes me enjoy using the platform more. The initial setup was very easy without any issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's still a few things that have to be improved. There are inconsistencies with the voices and the pronunciation of certain words. For some reason, it may pronounce a word very easily within one or two scenes, and then there's a few more scenes with the exact same word being pronounced weird. You have to do certain tricks to get it right because even if you put the pronunciation within the settings, it still is a little finicky, and that can take some time. I did have emotion in my avatar, and I think it was a little bit more exaggerated than I would have wanted. It came off sounding funny for the most part, but it's not as natural as I expected, so I had to rerecord another one. There's a lot of room for improvement, I think, but we're using new technology, so we just have to be patient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia helps with creativity and editing, saving me a lot of time creating videos with my avatar. It allows me to make natural-looking videos at home, which is pretty cool.
Fun, Easy-to-Use Synthesia with Awesome Support and Helpful Updates
What do you like best about the product?
It’s fun to work with and easy to use, and the support staff are awesome. The updates are frequent and genuinely useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s not so much a problem with Synthesia as it is my own lack of AI knowledge—sometimes I feel like I’m a bit in over my head. That said, the Academy and the Friday Webinars are really helpful, and I’m learning more as I go.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I’m a trainer, and Synthesia is helping me create more dynamic, engaging learning resources for my company.
Effortlessly Creates High-Quality, Engaging Content
What do you like best about the product?
I like Synthesia because it makes creating content easy, and I appreciate the possibility to prepare templates. I love the availability of various voices and visuals which helps me create professional, high-quality content that feels natural—not cheap, tacky, or very fake. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy, especially since I already had a template and someone to help me with it from their experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it would be great to see more examples on how to create engaging content and be able to recreate it. Also, more availability on create video material from static content - pictures, screens, and animating them too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia helps create interactive, easy-to-understand materials. I can make professional, high-quality content effortlessly with templates, voices, and visuals.
Ease of Use with Room for Character Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I use Synthesia to make video tutorials, mainly for medical apps on iOS and Android. It's great because I just provide the script, attach screen records, and it combines well with customizable characters. I like that I can choose a character that looks like a doctor for my medical app tutorials. The effects for the mockups are a nice touch, too. It's pretty straightforward to set up, which is helpful for a startup like ours.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the characters should be improved and look more natural. High in detail, and lip syncing should be improved as well. I've tried a few AI models and think these are improving fast, so I believe Synthesia will improve too. The models should have a natural smile, and the tone should be natural.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Synthesia to make video tutorials for our medical apps, making it easier by providing script capabilities and attaching screen records.
Effortless Content Creation with Synthesia
What do you like best about the product?
I like how quickly you can turn around content with Synthesia, and I use the AI feature to source appropriate b-roll videos for training purposes. It's super easy to use and very intuitive. On a scale of one to 10, I would say the initial setup was definitely a 10.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm working with a particular client now that wants a specific font that Synthesia does not have available within their platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Synthesia to create content for mini workshops and refresher trainings, enjoying how quickly I can turn around content. The AI feature lets me easily source appropriate videos, making it very intuitive.
AI-Created Videos That Save Hours
What do you like best about the product?
AI-created videos. It can do something in 30 minutes that would normally take hours, which makes the whole process much faster and more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI chatbot (still in beta) sometimes takes around 5 attempts to do what I’m asking when it comes to AI content creation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don’t have the time to film content during the day, so this process does it all for me. The end result looks very professional.
Editing in the browser with practical stock integration
What do you like best about the product?
Editing directly in the browser as well as the integration of stock videos and images.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI assistants are not of sufficient quality for me. Integration into PowerPoint (via web videos) would be helpful.

I create training videos. Previously, I used several tools for this – for video editing, hosting, text, and audio. Now, I manage with a single tool directly in the browser.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Synthesia for personalized videos to promote events and products. It's easy to use and adaptable, which I really like. I appreciate that anyone can use it without needing to be a videographer or graphic designer—it's made for everyone. The ability to edit the pronunciation of words, change outfits, and backgrounds makes the process smooth and the end product look real. Also, Synthesia saves me time as I can do edits without constantly speaking to a video editor and I can edit in the comfort of my own desk. The initial setup was really quick, and I find it time-efficient because it helps me avoid the hassle of scheduling a professional shoot.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the sync in the words and avatar are misaligned. You have to generate the video a few times to get it right.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Synthesia for personalized videos promoting events and products. It solves scheduling in filming, model finding, and is time efficient. Editing is easy without constantly talking to a video editor, and it allows me to create professional content from my desk.
Clean, Easy-to-Use UI and Straightforward Video Creation with Synthesia
What do you like best about the product?
The UI is very clean and easy to navigate. At first, it wasn’t possible to add our own avatars, but now it is, which makes Synthesia a more effective tool for internal use. I’ve used Synthesia to create a video, and the process was very straightforward and simple. Since it is a free tool for Merck, I am not really concerned about the pricing but happy that it is integrated with Merck domain.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’d like Synthesia to generate link codes that can be used with SharePoint. Right now, this feature is missing, and I’d really like a SharePoint integration. It would be even better if we could generate web embed codes that can be used directly in our internal communication letters, so we don’t have to download the video first and then upload it to the page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me create interactive videos for SOPs and playbooks, which users generally prefer over manually written procedures.
Effortless Presentations with Realistic Avatars
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Synthesia allows us to come up with a creative presentation without having to act something out ourselves. We can play it with the avatar, which seems realistic. It's pretty easy to handle, and I also like that it features various languages. This helps in creating marketing skills in various languages. The initial setup was very easy and took less than five minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Of course, the characters could always become more realistic. And perhaps creating a script could also be made more easy with the help of some kind of AI and the database of the previous Synthesia user.

Synthesia helps create creative presentations without acting it out ourselves. It's realistic, easy to handle, and supports various languages, enhancing our marketing skills.
