Synthesia is a fantastic AI software everyone should have in their toolbox
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to create video without shooting
What do you dislike about the product?
No ability to accumulate credits. We are on the $30 per month subscription which gives us 10 videos per month, however, if you do not use your 10 videos within 30 days you loose them. It will be much better if the credits we've already paid for can be carried-forward to be used in later time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creation of explainer and course introduction videos
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend Synthesia. It is the way of the future for video creation. They just added screenrecording to the software which elevate the program to a new level.
Impressive tool that opens up new possibilities for us!
What do you like best about the product?
First, I'm impressed with the quality of the generated videos. But I also really like how the pitfalls (like strange pronunciation) are met with a clever and very intuitive UI that lets you hear your text before you generate the video. Overall the UI is top-notch and creating new videos is quite simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes some time to generate the videos, which can break the workflow. I believe these are technical limitations that can't be fixed easily. I'm sure the speed will improve over time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are creating videos to guide testers through user tests with these videos. It's much easier (and more flexible) to do it this with Synthesia instead of creating videos with real people. In the future, we are planing to create custom-made videos through the API.

Voice sounds real and naturak, templated are amazing

The people AI sometimes look creepy so I only use their voice

What do you like best about the product?
Synthesia is simple-to-use and enables the production of professional, custom videos in minutes. If needed, changes are quick and easy to make after production.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product doesn't yet support GIFs but I believe this is on the roadmap.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Production of professional talking head videos with supporting collateral to explain our product. It enables the production of quality videos quickly, at low cost with the option to edit after production.

Synthesia brings video production into the hands of everyone. It's easy to use/learn so try it out.
It's as easy as Plug and Play
What do you like best about the product?
It's plug and play feature, allowing anyone to create an output in just few clicks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not having a timeline where I can go back to a particular segment of a clip, rather than repeating the whole recording again.

Internal staff training.
Blown Away By This Tool
What do you like best about the product?
We tested this app with the free video that they offer. I was extremely impressed with the life-like nature of the video and the ease with which to get it was created.
What do you dislike about the product?
There were a couple of words that were noticeable that the mouth movement was off a little, but really no big issue
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating timely video content with life-like individuals that cuts our costs in creating real-world videos and the production time it takes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I haven't found another tool that has the breadth of functionality and realism as this tool, for the price point offered.
Amazing AI video for all kinds of uses
What do you like best about the product?
Video is hyper-realstic. Sometimes difficult to tell it's not a real actor. Voice is far better than most text to speech engines out there.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can sometimes tell it is an AI avatar, but it's the best I have seen on the market.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
e-learning experiences for high-volume production. We don't have time or budget to hire and record real human talent.

Synthesia also has an API for automation of video media assets.
Great product.
What do you like best about the product?
It uses text to video. All avatars work well in not only English but also Turkish. Which is really really hard to pronounce from text to speech. It is working great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Well a little slow in server but it is okey for 42 language support web service who, not only produce audiobut render video at the same time. But the servers on the system must be accelerated
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
You cant always have video production. Synthesia made video production easy in 42 languages and really humanoid visualisation. I used for producing news videos.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Well there is not much services like Syntehisia on the market. But as for all it is a great service to produce a video.
Artificial intelligence in videos with avatars
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to have the option to create personalized avatars and use different languages in order to distribute the videos in different countries without having to make translations.
What do you dislike about the product?
The duration in the basic plan is 10 minutes per video or 6 slides, and it is very tight for training purposes. I find the price somewhat expensive for this plan. It would be good to have more plans that can be customized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having to record myself with the camera. If I have an avatar, it helps me not to have to be in front of the camera. Regarding the benefit, what I like the most is the option to use the avatar in different languages.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
As an idea, it is very good and although they are in Beta version, it has a lot of potential for training topics, presentations, and especially the ability to create personalized avatars, even if this function is an extra cost.
