Takes Creative Writing to a Whole New Level
What do you like best about the product?
We tried Synthesia after hearing Marc Cuban mention it on Shark Tank, mostly out of curiosity. I assumed it would be just another technological toy that has lots of bells and whistles but does little to actually accomplish anything. WRONG! We use it on a near daily basis for creating sales letter videos. It’s great for the mechanical creation, but even better for the creative writing process. I’ve written six business books, three of which were published by the largest business book publisher in the world. They require each manuscript to be 60,000 words, so I know how to write. But seeing my words come alive with an avatar makes the writing process sooooooooooooo much better than just listening to Microsoft Word read them aloud that I kid my wife about naming our next dog after one of their avatars.
What do you dislike about the product?
I greatly disliked that there was not a way to recover deleted videos, but Synthesia's support team has been listening to their customers and added that feature last month.

Easy-to-use and immediate wow-effect
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that you can create a video in multiple languages and change it in a sec after you found a mistake or the information changed is a breeze. We stopped hassling around with making videos, having to take care of background, lighting, multiple runs, editing, etc. This is our way to go now, and we have already had clients wanting to use it for their own business.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mass generation of videos can be improved; we'd like to create millions per day, all personalized, but that's not an option yet. I know it'll come though; they've been adding new features very regularly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making videos and updating videos in multiple languages is a breeze now. That saves time and money and offers flexibility.

What do you like best about the product?
For a small company like Promths it is not possible to have product and instruction films made. You can do that with Synthesia. It took some time but the result is great. Moreover, Synthesia regularly develops new features. Very satisfied!

Synthesia is continuously innovating. It is good, and get better and better with each upgrade.
What do you dislike about the product?
1) Lip sync is still poor in many cases. Would expect that to be better since it's one of the things that quickly makes a video feel 'generated'
2) I would like to see a reversed API-proces, meaning: create a video, then make API-code for it, so I can create the exact video with my own small alterations automtically without laboreous GUI handling.

The voices are of excellent quality compared to other software on the market

Nothing really - but ideally more development towards VOICE OVER production, and less towards LEARNING / VIDEO

Voice over production used to involve real actors. Just to test a script, that would take days and cost hundreds of euros. Now we can polish x10 the script in an hour, and make sure we only used real human performances when it's really needed

What do you like best about the product?
I think the best thing is the customization in the video area that you can upload your own pictures or graphics. And furthermore I find the selection of several languages or rather linguistic dialects great
What do you dislike about the product?
What I do not like so much is in the editing of the pauses of the avatars. There, where you insert the text, could appear a menu bar so that you can just click on it and thus insert pauses or gestures.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem that Synthesia solves a lot for me is that I don't have to hire a professional voiceover artist or wait long for the finished videos. Instead, with Synthese yes, I can produce marketing videos in a matter of minutes.
